About this bed and breakfast
It's another fun year in New Orleans! Even when there is nothing to do, there is ALWAYS something to do!
You have your own private entrance and no indoor common areas. The private hot tub is drained and cleaned between guests. We want you to be safe and healthy for your visit to New Orleans. The owner is on property at all times.
This is a LEGAL Guesthouse permitted & inspected by the city of New Orleans. We are located at 1526 Pauger St. at the end of Bourbon St. in the Faubourg Marigny. A private entrance to the Little Eazy, makes you feel like you are in your very own home. We provide the perfect casual cottage. It has two separate sleeping areas and a private bathroom with walk in shower. There is a couch in the living room which pulls out for another full size bed. Kitchen, living room, cable TV, radio, a private phone and wireless Internet access. The kitchen is equipped with a full-size refrigerator and a microwave. We provide coffee, and tea. You can relax and read a book in the privacy of the back patio with hot tub and furniture. We also have a front yard with a swing that you can enjoy while watching the carriages make their way back to the stables. Permit parking is available at no extra charge while staying at the Little Eazy. Please check the availability calendar as we only have one cottage and when it books that is all I have to offer you. WE DO HAVE A 3 NIGHT MINIMUM....
Music & Relaxing: The Little Eazy is located in a residential neighborhood just outside the French Quarter. We are located 3 blocks from the French Quarter and 3 blocks from Frenchman St.. There are many restaurants in the neighborhood, It is a quiet neighborhood as compared to the French Quarter. The Little Eazy guests like it because the cottage is comfortable, like being at home, yet close enough to any of the fun activities which New Orleans has to offer.
The cottage is a 2 bedroom 1 bathroom cottage. Each bedroom has 1 full/queen size bed (one full and one queen). The couch in the living room folds out to a full size bed. It is comfortable for the maximum of 4 people, and we want you to be comfortable during your stay in New Orleans. Like many houses in New Orleans you need to walk through one of the bedrooms to get to the bathroom.
RATES- There is a nightly rate and then I charge extra ($25.00) per night for each extra person over 2. That is $25.00 per person. So 4 people would add $50.00 to the nightly rate. I do this because I cannot have 6 people staying in the cottage for one rate.

We had an absolutely amazing time at the Little Eazy Guesthouse. The location was prime for visiting Bourbon Street and Frenchmen. The cottage itself was a great landing spot after our day of site seeing. Margaret went above and beyond to accommodate our needs. We will be back!

Great place to stay!! Amazingly clean inside and a wonderful location. Margaret, the host, was very friendly and made sure everything was OK. Definitely would stay here again. Highly recommend staying here.

We enjoyed our stay at Little Eazy - a welcome refuge in the heart of NOLA. Margaret is great host, charming and very helpful. The location could not have been better. Unless you are just impossible to please, figure on enjoying your stay here.

By far our best time in New Orleans. Recommend Little Eazy for a laid back stay close to everything!

This was a great home base for our 6 night trip to NO. The host was very helpful and kind. We enjoyed the outdoor space.

This property is everything advertised! Great, quiet location, central to many things! The hosts are friendly and accommodating and very knowledgeable of all things New Orleans. Already looking at dates to return.

This was a perfect spot for our trip to NoLa! Close to all the action without being right in the middle of the Quarter. We arrived, parked, and never got back in the car until it was time to head home (parking permit included in stay cost - huge plus for us, as I knew parking was expensive at hotels!). Extensive binder on all the nearby restaurants and music venues was very helpful. And with all the walking, the private hot tub on the back patio was a bonus. Will definitely keep this property in mind for our next trip to the Big Easy!

The Little Easy is in a great location. There are several bars/restaurants within walking distance and a convenience store. The neighborhood is safe. The host, Margaret, is very inviting - don’t forget to read the info and restaurant binders for suggestions.

Oh Little Eazy…how I hated leaving you today! We will definitely be back so that we can continue “pretending” that we live in NOLA!
If you are searching out different places… you may be like my husband and me. We don’t need a vast lobby, a full service bar and restaurant…to just feel like we are in a hotel that could be anywhere. If you want to live the life of a native, Little Eazy is the ANSWER! From front to back, you will have all you need to live life in this charming neighborhood! The front yard is gated and has a covered gazebo with a swing and several chairs …perfect for sitting outside with a cool drink and waving at the passersby. The back private courtyard is perfect for coffee in the morning and wine in the evening complete with a wonderful hot tub!
Little Eazy is everything described and more!
Rick and Margaret have been working on this cottage since they bought it, and it is so functional and happy!
The kitchenette has everything you could want or need, even things you didn’t know you might need; lots of thought is put into the details. From the ample and ambient lighting, the thoughtfully chosen music in several areas, to plenty of hanging, luggage and cubby space…we were set to stay (and this chick brought enough Mardi Gras costumes for a month)! Now 2 days of our week were solid rain, and 2 days after that I was sick…so that’s where having this place really rocks! Staying inside and chilling was JUST as great as going out! Little Eazy…You are #1❤️🙌

We just love staying in Little Eazy! This prime location has great access to anywhere you might want to go in NOLA, but is nice and quiet. The cottage has a relaxing interior courtyard and a beautifully clean hot tub. Beach towels are provided and the beds are comfy. Small kitchen stocked with coffee, glasses, silverware and plates/bowls. Cozy living room with passthrough to kitchen makes relaxing there a breeze.
Margaret is a very experienced host, and provides some reading materials on NOLA as well as an extensive listing of restaurants and menus. You can't go wrong with this getaway!

We spent Christmas at the Little E Cottage, and had a wonderful time. Cindy and Missy were there to greet us, gave us tips for local spots and walked us into town the first day. The Cottage is comfortable, with special touches and a darling private patio. The only thing you might miss is an oven, but with the food in New Orleans, even my chef husband took a break and let the professionals do their thing. We would stay again and we are already talking about it! Easy walk for us and 2 kids.

Our first trip to NO was amazing and our stay at the Little Eazy was a huge part of our experience! The place was perfect for our stay - very clean & cozy! The back patio area & hot tub was such a VIBE and couldn’t get enough of it. The neighborhood was great and walking distance to everything.
Our host Margret was such a TREAT - she’s definitely good people - thanks for introducing us to the WWOZ radio station. Already download and played here at home!
We already talked about our next trip back and it’s great to know that we already know where we will be staying!

It was a cute little cottage, perfect for my sister & I on a little sister trip. The location was great! Easy walking distance to places to eat and Bourbon St. The cottage was very clean. And the couple of small issues we had Margaret and Rick took care of them immediately. We had a great time!

Margaret was an amazing host. She always made sure we had everything we needed. The lottle Eazy is the best place to stay in the french quarter. Its in walking distance to everything the french quarter has to offer. We absolutely love NOLA. Will definitely be staying here again.
There is plenty of parking on the street. I know that can be a big concern for most people. Maragaret provides plenty of towels and wash cloths and also towels for the hot tub. Most places i have stayed in do not make this a priority so we appreciated it so much.

We came over halloween weekend for my momther and sisters birthdays. The cottage was so comfortable and had everything we needed. Margaret is a great host, informative and caring. My mother is disabled and has a hard time getting around but the location was percect for us to rent a scooter and adventure bourbon street and the french quarterfrom the house. I would definitely rent again!

If you are going to be staying in NOLA, The Little Easy Guest House is the best place to stay. The guest house itself is roomy and comfortable. It quickly feels more like a home than just a homebase to sleep at.
Margaret (the host) is fabulous and is very knowledgeable about the area. She is a great resource if you are unsure of what to do at any time. She also provides books she has made with information on restaurants and places to see in the area. Margaret also makes herself readily available during the stay and responds quickly if there are any needs that you have.
The location couldn't be better. Just a quick walk to the French Quarter or the French Market streetcar makes getting around NOLA a breeze.
Thank you for everything, Margaret. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Great space, as a couple it was a great choice. Small but enough space for us, hit tub after day of walking was much needed. walking distance to everything yet quiet. Owner very nice, has binders with alot of info on food, attractions, and history. Only reason for 4 stars was didnt realize was attached to owners home and had just a door between our area and i believe their kitchen . Didnt end up stopping us from a good time, would definitely stay again.

This is an awesome property and the owner is amazing!! The guest cottage has 2 bedrooms, a bathroom, a sitting room, living room, breakfast bar and a small kitchen. There is a private patio in the back with a hot tub and a gazebo in front with. swing and chairs. Totally exceeded our expectations. Margaret knows everything about the local music venues and restaurants. It is within walking distance of Frenchmen and the top end of the French Quarter. We will definitely stay here again!!

The property was in a great location! Close enough to everything but also nestled away which gives you the opportunity to soak in the hot tub after a long day of walking Bourbon St. Margaret and Rick were amazing hosts, communicative and informed about the area, even having maps and binders filled with history and activities to do/see.
Anytime I’m back in New Orleans, I’ll be sure to stay at the Little Eazy Guesthouse. Thank you Margaret and Rick for making our first NOLA trip and (25th anniversary celebration!!) one to remember!
With love,
The Stanley Family

We were so pleased with our stay in New Orleans. Margaret was the perfect host and she was so communicative before and during our stay. Her home was well appointed and was definitely an amazing location to both the French Quarter and Frenchman. Would absolutely stay there again!

Great location and a wonderful quirky cottage. The owners were a great help in everything we needed. Some great neighborhood restaurants, stores and bars. Super close to Frenchmen Street and right at the end of Bourbon Street. We wouldn’t stay anywhere else and have already recommended to friends.

The location was perfect for our needs, and was within walking distance to many cool spots in NOLA - the French Quarter, French Market, Bourbon Street, Frenchmen Street. The cottage was just as described and as pictured in the photos. Margaret and her husband, Rick were helpful and had thought of everything to make our stay comfortable. Margaret & husband are dear NOLA long-timers, who make you feel completely home away from home. Their in-person welcome and gracious hospitality are unparalleled in our City rental experiences. Recommend, unless huge beds or remote bathroom required. This IS a (very well equipped) COTTAGE.

Great location and spot to enjoy New Orleans.

Outstanding experience at the Little Eazy Guesthouse! Loved the neighborhood - great little corner restaurants and all the wonderful music venues and even an open-air art market on Frenchman Street.
Easy walking to anything in the French Quarter. Certainly felt safe walking in the neighborhood, and enjoyed the cottage for a couple of suppers-in on our arrival and on a rainy night. Loved the hot tub after long days of walking on city streets

The Little Easy was a great value: enough room for me and two friends, free and easily found street parking, walking distance to French Quarter and lots of places yet still residential and private. Owners provided lots of local insights.

I and two friends went to New Orleans for our joint 65th birthday. The rental was as advertised. Neighborhood was quiet. We didn't even use our rental car because everything we wanted to do was within walking distance.

I have been to NOLA many times and stayed in many different places, but this was my favorite place and my new NOLA home! The cottage is private, cozy, well equipped and spotless! The location is also perfect, just steps away from the action but nice and quiet when it's time to rest. All of that is lovely, but what makes this place so very special are the hosts, Margaret and Rick! My daughter and I were treated like family, they even included us in all of their Thanksgiving traditions. I plan to return as soon as I can to catch up with our new friends. Thank you so much for making this trip extra special!
