About this apartment rental
Unit 119 is ocean front and truly you cannot get much closer to the Cove and the water. This unit has extraordinary views of the Cove turtles, spectacular sunsets with breathtaking sceneries for photo taking from the lanai. This unit has been home away from home for our returned guests – some who have been coming for 30 years and others for their first time. Come and see for yourself and you won't want to leave this property. There are BBQs to cook your meals, relaxing without the hustle and bustle going to a restaurant. There truly isn't a better ocean view than here. As owners, we wish you a wonderful experience in Unit 119. Mahalo.

Enhanced Cleaning and Disinfection: All Honokeana Cove units are thoroughly cleaned and disinfected before every guest. Housekeepers use EPA hospital-grade disinfectant sprays and cleaning agents with extra attention to all high-touch surfaces. All dishware including plates, bowls, glassware, coffee cups and silverware is washed at high temperature settings. All soft surfaces, including couches, occasional chairs and mattresses are sprayed with a disinfectant to assure cleanliness and safety. Linens and towels are washed with the highest heat temperature and additional drying time, to ensure proper sanitization.
Cancellations and Refunds: Bookings cancelled more than 30 days prior to check-in will receive refund of deposit less $50 cancellation fee. Less than 30 days prior to arrival date, cancellation forfeits the rental amount. However, if health or a personal issue causes you to cancel, contact the rental office. Guests are strongly encouraged to obtain trip insurance for protection from unforeseen circumstances.

Nice vacation stay as always at #119. New management means changes so we will see what changes besides discontinuing a discount for lengthy stays and a mid stay laundry change out and tidy up will be with us in the future.

We absolutely love this cove. We were enjoying our stay, it was quiet everyone was talking and getting along. The second week the entire experience shifted. Families came and did not respect anyone or the wildlife in the cove. The children were throwing large rocks into the cove. We had to police our space! This is not a place for families. I have been coming to the cove on and off for 26 years. Was disappointed.

Our week at Honokeana Cove began and ended with us sitting on our Lanai, marveling at the beautiful rainbows arching over the sea while we observed the astonishing array nature provides this little spot of paradise. Turtles came to rest directly below us in the afternoon sun, they bobbed in the sea, swimming lazily, often paddling over to greet delighted snorkelers. Honokeana Cove must be one of the most wonderful places on our planet.

Lovely location to hear and watch the waves crashing on the seawall and follow the sea turtle heads as they pop up in the surf. Management is very helpful and friendly. We found the kitchen wares sparse which proved challenging but when I mentioned this to the manager, she ordered what I suggested right away. I am looking forward to using these the next time I come.

Great snorkeling and sunsets, of course. We were there at the time of the Lahaina fire, and the staff were supportive, helped us get food when the stores were closed, and I liked how they let refugee families from the fire stay at the cove.

We've stayed in this resort 2 past times but not in the Summer. This Unit is Not the one to have in a Summer stay. It had NO A/C. We had friends who stayed in a Similar Unit 114 we booked for them. It had 2 Portable A/C. Our Unit had 2 fans. We could not stay in our unit from 1 pm to 6 pm. We had to go to our friend's unit 114 that we reserved for then to do any cooking during those times. We decided to let our friends have this unit due to their health issues. The Unit was very clean and updated. We had no choice in travel times for family reasons. Our son with Grandkids stayed week before in a corner Unit without A/C but it had great airflow from extra side windows. OK during non-summer months.

Lovely as always. We enjoy a quiet crowd and seem to get lucky each time we visit. Turtles and rainbows, what's not to like?! We always take the same unit so totally know what to expect. We had two minor maintenance issues that were taking care of very quickly with the friendly maintenance guy. Betty even printed out out flight boarding passes for us when we had to leave. Why go anywhere when you are in the most beautiful, relaxing environment you could every hope for. We loved our stay at Honokeana Cove right on the water. We could watch the turtles climbing onto the rocky shore below our balcony, as well as the amazing sunsets. The resort is homey and the managers in the office were so nice and friendly. After snorkeling with the tropical fish, giant turtles and a purple octopus, we could hop in the heated pool! Our room was beautifully updated and spotlessly clean. King size bed was super comfy. I would highly recommend this quiet cove to relax and really put you in touch with the beauty of Hawaii.

Honokeana cove is extraordinary! As a first time snorkerler it did not disappoint—an astounding variety of fish as well as sea turtles. The first few days there was big surf so we enjoyed the sun and watching talented surfers and then we had calm days perfect for snorkeling. The pool is nice and warm and the grounds are beautiful. Our unit 119 was right on the water and perfect for us! We hope to go back!!

Location, location, location! The property sits right on the water facing a cove filled with many species of fish and lots of Honu! Many of which make their way on the rocky shore to rest in the afternoon. The rental office manager is the best! Su always makes us feel like ohana when we visit, which has been over 20 years now and is one of the reasons why we keep coming back! The rest of the staff are wonderful as well, Betty, Ray, Nelson, and Scott. The accommodations are not luxurious but are clean and very comfortable. Each individual decorated by each unit’s owner. Where else does every condo have a gorgeous view of the island of Molokai. Located in Napili and is very close to a grocery store and several restaurants. Honokeana Cove is our happy place!

I've been lucky enough to stay at the Cove a few times now, and I have to say that unit 119 is my favorite! The unit is very nicely remodeled with nice appliances and good supplies in the kitchen. The turtles come up to snooze on the rocks right below the lanai. Great view of the sunset. It does tend to be pretty warm in August and September with direct afternoon sunlight, but I imagine in the cooler months it's the BEST.

Setting overlooking the cove where you can watch the turtles come up on the rocks to sun and hear the waves. That was the best part. Unit itself is a bit dark inside and the kitchen is woefully deficient in cooking and even eating utensils! It was a challenge to cook dinner and make cookies -- guessed on proportions and the Teflon pans were scratched and scary.

We spent several blissful weeks here this December - perfect weather, great snorkeling, interesting neighbors, beautiful garden and well managed in every way. The property is quiet generally, and always quiet from 10pm to 8am. One note - if you want a very peaceful stay avoid the week of school Christmas vacation as many young people descend with their families and it can get noisy...The manager always controls the noise at night but evenings can be lively.

Our stay was wonderful as usual! Our home away from home. One of the main reasons we've been coming back year after year is because of Su and the rest of the staff, Betty, Scott, and Ray. They make you feel like ohana! There is no better place to stay to have one of the best snorkeling spots on the islands. The honu are everywhere. Great, as usual. This was my wife and my 31st trip to the cove together, and I came before that for years with my parents. We like snorkeling, and the parrot fish and turtles were wonderful--as were the relaxing evenings on the lanai, watching sunsets and having long dinners watching the stars or moon over the cove (I also enjoyed barbing fresh fish). Su and Betty were warm and friendly in the office.

1. the living room furniture is very out dated and not comfortable setting.
2. the afternoon temperatures were unbearable with the direct sun. I do think putting in a ceil fan on the lani would help as there is no need for two lights.
3. the bedroom is very uncomfortable as well, the closet space is very small, so they have to hang extra clothing on a rack provided that takes extra floor space. When you pay this kind of money for a unit you would expect more from the owner in accommodations.
4. the kitchen, very old refrigerator, skillets need replacing, no trap for the sink, over all everything in the kitchen is a mess.
5.we love coming to the cove, but based on Unit #119 condition we will never stay in the unit again.
6. air conditioning would be a welcome addition.
7.Owners of any unit in the cove has to understand if they don't invest in improvements they are the losers in the long run. I don't mind paying their price, but the unit condition have to be up to par.
8. We love Su and her staff, but they can only do so much, the owners better get with the program with updates or they will see their return on investment go down.

7.Owners of any unit in the cove has to understand if they don't invest in improvements they are the losers in the long run. I don't mind paying their price, but the unit condition have to be up to par.
8. We love Su and her staff, but they can only do so much, the owners better get with the program with updates or they will see their return on investment go down.

Except for the high waves and wind on a few days, the stay was great. It's just too bad that the entry and exit to the water on those kind of days is a bit dangerous. This unit would benefit from a new fridge. The snorkeling for turtles is awesome when the water is calm.
