About this apartment rental
At Turquesa, there is nothing between you and the sea. A newly renovated two king bedroom, two bath condo awaits where you are mere steps from the beach or the pool from our ground floor corner unit. You will feel peace and serenity from the moment you arrive. Revel in the beautiful turquoise waters of Turks and Caicos as you relax in the tranquility of the resort or take a peaceful stroll or vigorous jog along our 3.5 mile long stretch of sandy shoreline. The beach offers a wonderful walk where nature abounds and there are few people. While you can be in the action and crowds at Grace Bay in only twenty minutes, Turquesa is for those who want to escape the crowds and enjoy the beauty of the island.
Our unique unit, tastefully decorated in turquoise and blue brings the colors of the beach inside for a bright airy space. Whether you like to read, write, or just sit back and relax, Turquesa is perfect. A steady breeze, even in the summer months, allows you to enjoy open windows bringing in the sounds of the ocean. However, air conditioning is always available if desired.
Our new kitchen is completely equipped with all the amenities of home including plenty of dishes, cutlery, bowls, pots, and cooking necessities to prepare delicious meals and snacks. After a long day at the beach, enjoy a refreshing cocktail at the pub height table and chairs on the patio. Persistent warm breezes on two open sides provide an expansive view for enjoying ocean sounds and sights.
Our bedrooms with king beds are comfortable and up-to-date. A new comfortable sofa bed is available, however we do not recommend more than 4 people sharing this unit. Turquesa also includes complimentary monogrammed beach towels for use. A 42' LED wall mounted smart TV is comes with cable TV. Stable wi-fi is included free of charge.
Located a twenty minute drive from the PLS airport at the end of Millenium Highway just past Blue Hills, this fifteen acre, quiet, forty-nine unit Northwest Point Resort is adjacent to the National Marine Park and Nature Preserve. Twenty minute drive takes you to most places for shopping, restaurants in Grace Bay or Turtle Cove. Turquesa is your perfect haven whether you are a nature lover, a writer, a family, or honeymooners! This resort offers something for everyone away from the crowds of Grace Bay yet only a short car ride to all the major attractions. A car is recommended as you need it to explore the entire island and the array of local attractions. We can recommend rental agencies.

Peaceful and gorgeous
The condo was very clean and perfect for 2 couples. Beds were comfortable and the view from the patio was gorgeous. Loved having breakfast out there each morning. The beach and pool we're nice, we never had an issue getting chairs. While it is a ways from Grace Bay and most of the restaurants, I liked the peace and quiet and we drove most days down for dinner. However, the condo is well equipped for cooking. Beautiful place I hope to return to. Also, if you like to snorkel, we found great snorkeling right off the beach.

We traveled with 5 people, two adults and our three teenage children, We have traveled around the world and stay at condos, air b and bs, all inclusive resorts, hotels etc. This was the worst place that we have every stayed. Our flight was delayed and we got in late. Upon arrival there was no water and no toilet paper for 5 people. Not a single bottle of water nor a single roll of toilet paper. When I inquired I was told this was our responsibility. The night we arrived my husband noticed on the patio all kinds of construction equipment. He tired to clean the best that he was able to do in the dark. When I went out in the morning I stepped on a three inch screw. There was a huge box of caulking equipment, screws, nails and lumber which despite my complaint were not moved for 4 days. There were also only 2 real beds and we had 5 people. The third bed (pull out) was unihabitable. My son who backed pack across North Carolina one summer and Washington another summer both with just a sleeping bag, said the bed was worse than the ground as the bar was unbearable to sleep on as it jabbed into your body through the mattress. One of the beds had blood stained sheets. The sheets were scratchy. The first day there, the door lock did not work and I was stuck in the condo for hours as we could not lock the door and all of our valuables which could not fit in safe because the safe was too small. The lock was one of the batteries operated locks (which we have at our house and when the batter gets low, the locks are hit or miss). I asked that the lock be fixed on our first day. They were not. On our 4th day, we were completely locked our for 4 hours. My son tried to hop the fence to see if we could get in through a window or back door and he broke he brand new iPhone 10. The refrigerator was filled with moldy food upon our arrival and the freezer had an exploded bottle in side with a disaster everywhere. The condo itself was not exceptionally clean. The closets and he cabinets were filled with paint, construction equipment and the owner personal stuff so I did not get the vacation feel of staying at some place wonderful. There were also cockroaches every where. It was anything but wonderful which distracted from the beauty of Turks and Caicos. Condos are a super way to spend a family vacation, but I would pass on this condo. I have all kinds of pictures to back this up.

Gorgeous Condo - Gorgeous Island - Great Service
I have started writing reviews of places we have stayed because I really rely on them when choosing a vacation spot. This one I REALLY want to write because I am quite shocked at the misleading December review of this beautiful rental and it is this kind of misrepresentation on VRBO and Tripadvisor that harms the intention of these opportunities and seasoned world-wide travellers like my wife and I.
Now back to my review - we stayed at Kim's Turquesa condo from Feb 4th - 14th! Holy cow! We love Turks and, Northwest Point, and are so happy to have found Kim’s place. Not only is the condo immaculate and feels so new, it is beautifully furnished and maintained with care and great taste. We love to cook and really appreciate how clean and functional the kitchen was.
I can still picture us drinking wine, and cutting/chopping while looking out at the great deck to the ocean. Your beds are so comfortable (even the pullout that our friend used last time) and the bedding is soft and of very high quality. Your colours speak to the setting and my wife finds them very soothing. Working on my computer on the deck on that hightop café table is so perfect ... I could live there tomorrow.
Thank you for being such a great hostess. I would highly, highly recommend this place to my family and closest friends!
Too bad other renters can’t control for nastiness but please ignore that awful Dec review. She must have stayed some place else or has other issues perhaps, but let’s be true to what people are trying to accomplish with VRBO (and I don’t have anything to do with the company except to use it to find places to stay) and please give accurate reviews. Thank goodness I didn't see this review before I booked Turquesa because we would have missed out on a fantastic place to stay in Turks. We will definitely be back to Kim's place, and soon!
Love love love this place.

Jan1-9 2019. We loved our stay in this quiet part of the island. Accommodation was in the best location of North West Point with a great view of the ocean. We explored the island almost daily and loved escaping to this quiet get away. That said we always found a gathering at happy hour in the hot tub. Great beach for walking, beach combing and watching kite sailing. Saw people successfully fishing and snorkelling and on calm days paddle boarding.
We swam in the ocean on the less windy days. We had some meals in , some meals at the restaurant by the pool and tried some of the top local spots on the island. The road here is bumpy but easily driven. If you have the chance to rent this unit from Kim, do not pass it up!

Fantastic
The resort is beautiful, and this particular unit is exceptional. We enjoyed ten days of water, sun and great food. The unit is fresh and updated with soothing colours and wonderful beds and linen The resort feels remote and is wonderfully quiet; yet amenities are a quick drive away. Great snorkling right off the beach and all the way up to the point. Perfect kite sailing conditions. Beautiful and well kept grounds and friendly staff.
Can't say enough about this place. Just book it!

Turquesa has it all! Highly recommended!
My two sisters and I spent a wonderful 10 days at the Turquesa condo at Northwest Point, T&C. Everything was perfect when we arrived and we were delighted when we saw all of the personal touches. I love to cook and the kitchen had everything I needed to make great meals. We loved having our coffee out on the deck in the mornings before hitting the beach. The palapas were always available with great beach chairs and the pool wasn't crazy-crowded like other resorts. The hot tub at night was fabulous!! Having two large bathrooms was also perfect for 3 women!! The grocery store at Grace Bay was phenomenal!! We visited other beaches (Leeward is a must see) but our beach at Northwest Point was also a fav. We ended most days floating in the warm crystal water with drinks in hand!!
We highly recommend Turquesa and are already planning our next trip back ... might even take our husbands this time! Thank you to the owners for a beautiful, clean and well-kept property. We enjoyed every minute!
