About this cottage rental
Cultus Lake Park Short-Term Rental Permit # 24-544-048.
Please note that the cottage is not subject to recent provincial short-term rental limitations.
Currently there are dates available in September and December 2024.

Otherwise the cottage is fully booked for the balance of 2024.
There are additional dates available at our two bedroom cottage (listed as VRBO 1461757) which is next door to this cottage.
Reservations are available for up to 18 months from today's date which now includes the summer of 2025.
Reservations of 5 days or more are accepted for stays between May 1st and September 30th, December 16th and January 1st, and 30 days to 89 days from January 2nd through to April 30th of each year.
There is a 10% discount for stays of 7 days or more from May 1st to September 30th and December 15th to January 1st..
PST (8%), Municipal Tax (3%), and GST (5%) does not apply to stays of 30 days or longer.
The cottage can accommodate up to ten people and has room for four cars in the front driveway. The cabin is a five-minute walk out the front door to the beach and sits on a large lot with plenty of room in the fully fenced and dog friendly backyard. The yard has several large trees that provide plenty of shade.
The living room has a large smart TV with HDMI connections as well as a DVD player. High speed Wi-Fi is included in the rate. The living room has a natural gas fireplace and French doors that open on to a large deck. The deck has a natural gas barbeque, a large gazebo and also an open area that is ideal for sitting by the propane bowl or wood burning fireplace in the evenings.
One bedroom is New York themed; it includes a queen bed that looks out onto the deck through French doors. This bedroom also has a natural gas fireplace. The second bedroom with a Paris theme includes a double bed. The third bedroom includes a double bed as well as a bunk bed. A large sofa bed in the living room can sleep two. The yard has several large trees that provide plenty of shade. Each bedroom has a window air conditioner installed in the summer.
The kitchen and laundry room are updated with new counter tops and tile backsplashes. The kitchen also includes a gas stove with warming drawer, a fridge with a built-in cold-water dispenser and ice maker, microwave, and a Bosch dishwasher. Plenty of plates, bowls, glasses, and utensils are supplied. The laundry room has a stacking washer and dryer. The dining room can seat eight. There is one three-piece bathroom with a walk-in shower and second two-piece bathroom.
Close by are hiking trails, water slides, boat rentals, a kid's adventure park, bike trails, miniature golf, and an executive golf course.
The Chilliwack River offers year-round fishing as well as white water rafting for the more adventurous. In nearby Yarrow, Sardis, Vedder, and Chilliwack there are several Craft Breweries, Farmers' Markets, and Fairs that occur throughout the spring, summer, and fall. The Trans Canada trail is just outside the front door.
Smoking is allowed outside only in the yard, please not inside the cottage. Cultus Lake is a smoke free community with smoking not allowed on the beach, trails, roads, and public areas.

House was nicely laid out. 2 bedrooms one side of house with bathroom then main bedroom with door to decks & on other side of house. Good size kitchen with more appliances etc. than we could ever use. Good large fridge. Big t.v. sliding doors from living room to decks. BBQ, propane fire. Walk to beach & dog park & beach. This vacation home was perfect for our family group. Perfect size, perfect outdoor space, indoor space was great. Murdock, the little dog, loved the yard.Lots of indoor and out door activities for both young and old. Close to beach Ample sundries, we never ran out of a single item. My family and I vacation at Brent and Sharron’s cabin as often as possible. It’s the perfect place for a family getaway because of the amenities, lake access, incredible backyard and everything the house is equipped with. Brent and Sharron are the best hosts and available to support any and all needs. Highly recommend!

Our stay was the perfect family getaway. We enjoyed the vintage books, vintage games, bunk bed, propane fire pit, gas BBQ and cooking in the fully stocked kitchen.
This house is a 5 minute walk from the beach. So close and easy to get to! Unfortunately once at the beach, there are no public washrooms as the washrooms close by are in a campground and locked with a code. Just make sure you go to the washroom prior to going to the lake. Also, this wasn’t a huge deal for us because the house was only 5 minutes away so washrooms are not too far.

We had a wonderful time in this home! The home was comfortable, clean, and very family/dog friendly! We enjoyed the short walk to the beach and spending evenings outside playing games on the deck and in the yard. Our friends came to visit for a night and loved it so much they stayed 3 nights and we are all looking at booking again for next year.

It was a perfect spot for our family reunion. The house had everything that we needed and a whole lot more. It is an older property with lots of life still in it. Perfect for our teenagers and walking distance to the lake.

Seeing family after so long, with covid and just life. Our visiting family from the US found great places to stay as well, but came at different times, so your wonderful quaint cabin allowed us to visit out doors on the great deck surrounded by those beautiful trees.We came through a terrible fire on the 28th of June 2 years ago, and lost about 50 acres of our 160. To see a beautiful healthy forest, was soothing to our souls! Thank you Brent and Sharron for sharing your special place with us💖

We rented this house while we were doing renovations to a nearby house. It was a perfect fit for us being pet friendly and having a fenced yard. Lots of room for the 3 of us, worked well for us. Great tv in the family room!

Very nice place to stay. Pictures don't do the house justice. We are family of 6, was enough room for everybody. Backyard is amazing, even in December we spent the whole afternoon outside, by the fire. House is very well equipped, comfortable beds. We enjoed our stay very much!

A well situated older cabin just steps away from so much activity & the public beach & dog beach are a 1 minute walk away. The cabin covered all our needs & more. The back yard & patio fit our crew of six teens comfortably and the two dogs loved the back yard space. Quiet community if you're looking for the perfect place to stay.... I recommend this cozy cabin with all the comforts of home :)

A quiet 6 weeks
We had a very comfortable stay while awaiting the construction of our new place to complete. The house is well stocked and all you need is food and clothes. Not able to use the outdoor amenities, because it was January … I can see this place being attractive for summer lake visitors. Thanks again!

Cultus Lake May 2021
We changed our location due to COVID restrictions (Mexico initially, then Shuswap Lake, finally Cultus Lake). The cabin is exactly as shown /stated in the advertiising. Clean/Quaint/ relaxing. Everything you need for a break from life! The outside deck and yard is very peaceful and wonderful for night time by the fire. Beds are comfortable and living areas are more than enough for our group of 6. Thank You for the week.
