Our beach house (a personal vacation home - not an investment property) is a light-filled retreat with beautiful furnishings, quality linens, spacious open plan living areas with 12' high ceilings and excellent indoor/outdoor flow. 3 large coastal bedrooms (king, queen and twin) with inbuilt storage, 2 modern bathrooms (1 en-suite) with huge separate showers plus a hall WC closet near the separate full-sized laundry room.
Plenty of room for all the family to chill around the free-form private pool & hot tub The special non-slip pool surface complements the 'beach access' that allows the young (and not so young) to enter into the water without any steps and starts at 2 inches deep! The tropical planting gives areas of both sun and shade and at night-time the palms are automatically lit to enhance the ambience of the backyard and pool area.
Upstairs, guests will love to use the granite finished, fully equipped kitchen with custom cabinets. Great-room opens onto generous lanai with outdoor dining.
By the pool you can enjoy the large entrance level patio, sun loungers and gas BBQ grill, wall mounted TV & ROKU services. Over-sized double garage with remote access, beach chairs, beach toys and beach cart too.

Despite being stuck indoors for a couple days due to Tropical storm Debbie, this house did not disappoint. It is exactly as described. I don’t know if you could ask for anything more. Mike and Lesley were wonderful hosts and very responsive and accommodating. Highly recommend this home. If we ever come back to the area again, we would want to stay here every time.

We loved our stay here! The check in process was super easy, the property was the perfect size for our family of 5. You can walk to the beach from the property in about 8 minutes- we found a golf cart very helpful to get to the rest of the island. The kids loved the pool and it was super clean!

We enjoyed our stay. The location is great very close to the beach and dining options. The house was extremely clean and had everything we needed for the week. We enjoyed enjoyed mornings and early afternoons at the beach and came back to the house to enjoy the awesome outdoor pool. I would highly recommend this rental check in and out were both a breeze!

Beautiful clean home- one of cleanest we have stayed at. We loved outdoor pool area. We enjoyed having access to wagon to transport supplies. Anna Maria Island wonderful. We did struggle operating TV (never figured it out but we arent real tech savvy). Would like to see some Tupperware in kitchen for leftovers. Would recommend guests renting golf cart- that made getting around a lot of fun! Would also have liked to have more washclothes- Maybe atleast 2 per person staying. Overall wonderful stay.

We had a wonderful week at A Pearl of a Beach Home. The house was perfect for our family of 5. More than enough room, the pool and hot tub was where we spent most of the time. The beach was an easy walk right up the street. The most beautiful sunsets, and some of the best beaches we have ever seen. There were plenty of great restaurants close by (well everything is really close on the island).
We spoke to several neighbors and locals and everyone was super friendly.
Every question we had was answered almost immediately and we were extremely happy staying here and will certainly be back.

We had a wonderful stay at this exceptionally clean & spacious beach home which was in a great central location on AMI. It was only a short walk to the beach and the amenities of Holmes Beach. Communication from the owners was so clear & easy - 5*. Our stay was just after Hurricane Idalia hit Florida and it was so reassuring that the owners reached out the next day to advise us that there was no damage to their beach home and that their cleaning crew and pool guy had already been over to check everything out - no disruption at all.
The home had everything we needed for our vacation, lots of towels, crockery, glasses and pots 'n pans, a ping pong table and a gas BBQ grill. In the garage there were plenty of beach chairs, beach toys and 2 wagons that made taking everything to the beach so easy. The outside space is fabulous with a pool & hot tub - lots of loungers and a separate outside dining and lounging area poolside, plus a rear balcony with dining and relaxing furniture upstairs.
We have stayed on AMI before and this is our favourite place by far - we will return as soon as we can. Thank you Mike & Lesley for sharing your "Pearl of a Beach Home" with us and for the personal communication before, during and after our stay.

This was our first stay here and we really enjoyed the property and location. Great communication from the owners. There were some guests in the home behind us that partied loudly and played very loud music. That put a damper on our time in the backyard for about half our stay but we adjusted as we could.

We had a great time. The owners reschedule our dates due to hurricane Ian. Weather was perfect. We were at the beach then pool everyday. The pool and hot tub were fantastic. Well equipped with chairs and nice pop up canopy for beach.

This house is amazing and only 2 blocks from the beach! We had my entire family (4 adults and 2 kids) which fit very comfortably in the house. On the first night the hot tub broke which was unfortunate but luckily we were still able to use the pool. Contacted the owner and it was addressed immediately but the part to fix it couldn’t come until after we left so we’re not able to use the hot tub during our stay. This did not ruin our trip though because of all the other amenities we had access to. The pool had lots of pool toys which our kids loved and then inside there was a high chair for our youngest. In the garage were plenty of beach toys, chairs, wagon, and a couple bicycles (sad we didn’t have time to use them). Overall great experience and would recommend to everyone.

This home is in an excellent location in the middle of Anna Maria Island. Close enough to walk to the beach but on a very quiet street. The house was perfect to rent with two young kids as Mike and Lesley stocked the home with everything we could need. The best part of this home is the outdoor pool- an oasis of itself!

This was our first trip to AMI and it won’t be our last! We’re sitting at the airport gate waiting for our flight home and already planning when we’ll be back to stay at this very property again. It felt like home from the minute we walked in, so clean and welcoming. Everything about the stay, from the reservation process to the moment we left to head back home after our amazing week, was so easy. Mike and Lesley were so responsive to any and all questions, and it was just so reassuring to rent from them. The pool and spa area were a dream, we spent so much family time there every day, and my 5 year old even learned to swim!! The location of the house is perfect, quick walk to the beach and just steps away from the trolley. We would have loved AMI regardless, but I have no doubt that staying in this home made our stay so much better. Thank you Mike and Lesley for letting us enjoy your lovely home, especially for my sons very first vacation ever!!

This was our 5th year coming down to AMI! This was a great property and we would rent again. Some of the beach items had definitely seen better days (which obviously aren’t supposed to be provided) we did purchase a new canopy and boogie boards for others to enjoy after us, but the property itself was perfect

This property was above our expectations. It had every amenity required for our family vacation that included two infants under two years old. This was our first time to Anna Maria Island and both the home and location were great. We traveled with a total of 4 adults and two young children and the home was an excellent arrangement. We used the pool everyday and the proximity to the beach was great. Really enjoyed our stay and would not hesitate to recommend this property. Hope to return.

Ideal location and beautiful private pool!
We wanted a rental where we could escape the masses and keep Covid-safe and this little oasis did not disappoint. The walk in pool and spa was such a fun escape for our children and us and it was the perfect short walk to the beach. We can't wait to visit again when we can hopefully take advantage of the proximity to the local restaurants and bars too!

This home was perfect in every way. We made everlasting memories. The beach and sand are unbelievable, and only a five minute walk, but we got a golf cart to tow us around town which made getting around much easier. This stay was so easy from start to finish! Owners Mike and Lesley are very informative and responsive. The house was extremely clean and had everything as advertised. It was well equipped and there was plenty of plasticware to use at the pool. We really had everything we needed. The house is very close to the beach (walkable, but with us being older we drove). We did not have to bring anything for the beach with us - there were plenty of chairs, coolers, and a buggy to carry it all in. There were lots of beach towels and enough regular towels for us all. Definitely recommend Pearl of a Beach Home!

Located very near island trolley and only a short walk to beach. Rained several days due to remnants of a tropical storm, so we were glad to have a beautiful and spacious house in which to hang out. Owners always attentive to any questions we had.
