Our host and her family were very friendly and helpful at all levels! I appreciated the time LeAnn took to orient us to her property, and her young son in turn oriented mine to the lake; my son had fun catching little fish while I failed to catch anything off the dock. The property itself is also beautiful; canoeing in a tranquil lake with the loons in the Alaskan summer twilight was sublime.

This was our second time here. Even though it was rainy, we still had a great time on the lake, fishing, and getting away from home for a weekend. The McCoys are always very helpful, nice, and happy to cater to us. The sauna was great every night to warm up from the rain. Beautiful property, and a fun time!

The property is off the beaten path but it’s such a beautiful place. The owners were very nice and went out of their way to make sure everything was stocked and ready for my arrival. I would definitely stay here again!

We were enchanted on our few days here (and would have happily stayed longer)! A very nice unit (one of two adjoining on the property of a very welcoming family). It fit me and my two adult(ish) sons well and we were quite comfortable. Great kitchen and we had all of our meals there, including using a very easy to operate BBQ. The lake is just down the hill and the floating dock is lovely for morning coffee, lunch, or evening drink. It’s Alaska so it can be windy and cold and rainy but always a beautiful sight. Two canoes and three paddle boards were available and I would have used them more if we were there longer. It was a perfect spot to chill for a couple of days and we also really enjoyed a trip to Captain Cook State Rec Area. Beautiful! We would happily return to this home again! Thank you to our wonderful hosts!

We stayed here for a wrestling tournament. It was a tremendous experience! The snow was still on the ground, so we're making plans to go back in the summer and enjoy the lake!
Even with the snow, we had a great time. The kids were able to sled on the property, played with the hosts' kids, and we enjoyed the sauna.
The McCoy's were very nice, friendly, and accomodating! We can't wait to go back

Our family came up here for a wedding and loved this spot. Our young kids had a blast playing in the yard and on the dock. Unit was very comfortable and host was super easy to work with. If we ever make the trip up north again would stay here!

Dragonfly was great! The lake is beautiful and serene. The sauna was amazing! We had the best night's sleep after 15 minutes in that sauna.
LeAnn was a great host. She gave us suggestions of things to do around Nikiski, Kenai and the surrounding areas. The 2 bedroom apartment was top notch clean. On arrival a basket of goodies were on display for the taking. A big bonus and blessing was a washer and dryer. We would definitely stay here again😊

Wonderful, clean, cabin that seemed to have those necessities that one might forget and even a few goodies for movie night. Pleasant atmosphere with beautiful Daniels lake view out the back. Available canoe and paddle board, fishing gear, chairs to enjoy the peace. The grill and fire to sit around allowed true relaxation. One of the best parts was the hostess LeAnn who was fantastic and patient. She came to our assistance as well as thankfully offered words of wisdom when we had a unique situation...or two. Hope to head back soon!

What a phenomenal property. Tom and LeAnn are wonderful hosts. They’ve done a beautiful job of creating a comfy, cozy, and well appointed place. Interior is modern, clean and has everything you need. The yard and lake are gorgeous. Hope to come back again!

Beautiful lake, grounds and very comfortable accommodations.
My family had a wonderful time at this VRBO unit! The hostess was extremely friendly, helpful, and even had a gift basket for us upon arrival. We appreciated the TV with DVR, the modern and well equipped kitchen, the comfortable bedrooms, and the outside deck with chairs, table and barbeque. One of the most amazing aspects of this stay was access to beautiful Daniel's Lake, with the hostess providing paddleboards and canoes, as well as other sports equipment for games in the back yard. We also enjoyed the sauna. We definitely recommend this unit!

It was a great place to stay. Very inviting.
Nice owner, she changed our dates, responded quickly. It was kind of late in the season to use the Amenities . We will stay there again upon our next visit.

Beautiful, peaceful setting
We loved our stay here! We were in town for a family wedding and that kept us really busy most of our days there. We wish we would have had more time to enjoy all the property had to offer. My favorite was time on the dock, soaking up the beauty and peace. My kids enjoyed the canoe and yard games but would have loved more time to
use them. The cabin was very clean, comfortable and well appointed. We highly recommend it! You won’t be disappointed!

Get away from the crowds
A good place to relax! Comfortable furnishings and lots of amenities. The owners were friendly. We appreciated the gas grill for a fresh salmon dinner and the washer/dryer. The unit sits in front of the owner's home and has an adjoining rental unit. It's about 30 minutes from Soldotna so a bit out of the way for our Soldotna activities. We weren't able to hike in nearby Captain Cook State Park so drove to Soldotna for that activity.

Beautiful property. The houses are well stocked with everything you could possibly need. Lovely place. By far, the best vrbo experience we've had.

Super clean cabin!
The cabin was super clean and everything inside was new. The kitchen was stocked and very easy to use. The queen bed was hard, which was my main complaint, even if its a minor one. Also there is only a TV in the livng room, none in the bedrooms, FYI.
The cabin was at the back of the property, so in order to access the lake, you would have to walk thru the owners yard, which was....different. Not a bit deal to my husband, but not ideal for me.
But the hosts were amazing and easy to text and helpful. Overall it was a nice weekend!!

Fantastic!
We spent 3 days here in early June and had a wonderful time. LeAnn was a marvelous host to our family and made us feel so welcome. The location on Daniels Lake was beautiful, and having canoes available for paddling out on the lake was something we enjoyed a lot. The unit was very clean and very well appointed. We had 5 people in there, which was a little bit of a squeeze, but no real issues there with the trundle under the bunk beds. Nice kitchen and big washer/dryer were also very nice. We would love the chance to come back to visit again!

Quiet, scenic and private.
Beautiful lakefront property. Friendly family, the owners, that live nextdoor, are very respectful of guests privacy and attentive to their needs. This was an ideal location for us to stay while visiting our son and his family (3 grandchildren) who live nearby.

Dragonfly Delight
If you are looking for comfort and beauty, this is your place to come! We returned this year for the second year and stayed for an extended stay. Enjoyed canoeing and fishing on the lake, walks in the neighborhood and the convenience of being remote but not too remote. During our stays over the last few years we fell in love with Alaska and now we are planning a move! Tom and LeAnn have provided a wealth of information to us and we look forward to having them as neighbors.

My Nikiski visit
The setting was so beautiful, I was so comfortable, the property manager was so warm and accommodating. The sauna was the best way to end the day... I hope to return to the same place some day soon!

Off The Beaten Path
This property is beautiful and off the beaten path. I loved being able to get away from everything and enjoy the peace and quiet at the end of a long day. LeAnn is a wonderful host.

Secluded Bliss
The property was very well-maintained and clean. It was well-appointed and anything we needed to round out our fishing trips was provided. Hosts were responsive to any special requests. We left feeling like we had made new friends, though our privacy was always respected. We left with many great memories, and we will be back!

Just as beautiful as it looks!
The McCaughey's were wonderful hosts. Such a relaxing and comfortable place to stay for a week. Alaska is such a wonderful place to visit and we couldn't have had a better place to stay. Clean, comfortable and very quiet. Thanks again.

Quite restful with access to many recreational options.
My family enjoyed a quite, sunny and restful stay at Dragonfly. Our rental was very clean and the beds provided a comfortable nights sleep. My highlight was paddling on the lake in the canoe. My husband loved the sauna, it is beautiful. LeAnn has thought of all the small details that makes a stay at the Dragonfly feel like home.. or better yet.. a very well appointed rental. This is a perfect spot for a family gathering or girls weekend or a secluded private workspace. We brought fat bikes, golf clubs, and fishing poles for a uncrowded recreational filled weekend.
