It's all in the details. House is very nice and comfortable but good use a little minor maintenance/cleaning. Short list; Many dead light blubs, Grill needs help (flithy, nest inside, no gas(finally delivered the day before we left, grill still didn't work), no cleaning supplies (dishwasher soap, spray cleaner, etc). Place was surface clean only Hot tub was serviced on our first day, water added, unusable temp for that day, on a 4 night trip of skiing 20 min to Okemo was accurate and due to the rain, 4 wheel was a requirement, not an option on the dirt road up to the house

This home is in a great location to hiking and enjoying the local sites!

Everything was good. Only drawbacks like not enough cleaning resources like dishwasher pods, paper towel, laundry detergent available for 6 people 3 nights-4 days. Also the lights in kitchen was not sufficient. However the bedrooms, bathrooms were very well maintained. Jacuzzi was not very comfortable.

So initially the ride up to the house was extra long because of flooding which obviously has nothing to do with the house or the listing but it was all dirt roads to get there so the cars were filthy by the time we got to the house. Again not the fault of the home owner. Upon arrival the front steps were completely uneven which is fine for a bunch of athletic people as my group is a bunch of mountain bikers we had no trouble getting in and out but someone older definitely will. Upon trying to use the washing machine to clean our clothes after coming back from riding the smell inside the washing machine was so bad that I ran five cycles including a cycle with vinegar and couldn't get it to not smell horrifically bad. I ended up having to drive 35 minutes each way to go to a laundromat that was open and do my laundry which I had to pay for and lose an hour and a half of my time doing when laundry was one of the important factors of my choosing this listing.

The house was beautiful and had plenty of space. It provided a great getaway and we felt that we had much privacy given the remote location, yet a perfect distance from Okemo for some skiing!

Peaceful and Family-Friendly
Very clean, comfortable, nicely decorated, authentic modern cabin. Quietly situated within the mountain. Our only issue was we seemed to have picked the hottest week in the summer to use this lovely home for our vacation stay (unseasonably mid/upper 90's). With no AC, even with fans going, and windows open, the upstairs was very hot. I can see that this would be a perfect home otherwise. We would definitely stay here again in cooler weather. We highly recommend this home.

Peaceful and quiet
We had a great time! The house was mostly clean, with the exception of some kitchen utensils. The house was in the perfect location to get away from it all.

Great property
Very nice house. Well maintained, lots of great amenities. Hot tub worked great. Snowed overnight and the driveway was plowed promptly. Lots of towels for shower and hot tub use. The only minor issue was a very slight dog smell in the main living room. Still give it 5 stars as it was clean and as advertised.

Mice and Hot Tub Issues
The hot tub took 30 hours to heat up. We were only staying three days and the main attraction was the hot tub so that was very disappointing. But worse than that, mice got to our food and left a disgusting mess. When I tried to contact the local staff about this (and the fact that the side door is extremely difficult to lock) I never got a hold of them. Currently seeking a partial refund for the gross rodent experience. Would not stay here again.

Rest and Relaxation
Went to rest and relax. The home is very secluded and peaceful to stay at. Home was very clean and had everything we needed. Using the hot tub when we woke up was a big highlight. If you are looking for something away from the world, but close enough to grab groceries if you need them, this is the place.

Charming, Spacious and Relaxing
Nice 2 night stay. Comfy beds, great hot tub and great setting and view among the forest. Biggest question I had before arriving was what the kitchen contained. Kitchen details were not specified until we arrived. It had enough gear to bake bread and make big breakfasts. No hand or stand mixer, no pie pans (we made 3, bring your own pans). Outdoor grill was great. Bring your own kitchen towels unless bath towels work for you. Also does not have foil, saran. Salt, pepper and garlic powder available along with coffee filters. Plenty of dishes and bowls for our purposes.

Great getaway
Peaceful quiet setting with great amenities. We did lots of cooking and most kitchen items needed were available. Plenty of seating options for everyone’s comfort. Hot tub was a plus and they were very attentive to make sure all was in working order for use. Would recommend this place and return when back in the area. Very responsive management with any questions or emails.

Great time in relaxing Cavendish
House was very clean. Perfect for our group of ten. Plenty of space, scenic views, and our kids loved the gaming systems and hot tub. Kitchen could have used a few more items- pot tops, mixer, etc. but we made it work. Would stay here again!
