Restaurants are close by here in Moclips, Pacific Beach, Seabrook and on to Ocean Shores. There is a full grocery store 3 miles south in Seabrook.
One bedroom suite featuring a queen-size bed, full kitchen, full bath and outdoor shower, living room and dining area. A third person can sleep on the sofa with mattress pad, sheets, blankets and pillows provided. Guests say the sofa is very comfortable to sleep on.
ALL with oceanFRONT view and access! No where else on the Washington coast will you be this close to the beach.

We never got bored. Walked down to the beach everyday and flew kites. We used the hot tub once. We were able to drive down to the beach as well.
We walked to the Moclips river. It was our 50th wedding anniversary and we really enjoyed it. Would recommend this place to anyone who wants to get away from crowds.

Great place, stayed for our 39th wedding anniversary. Private even though the hosts live upstairs. Seeing the ocean when you first wake up is awesome! Hot tub was nice.

Will definitely be going back sooner than later. The beach bum residence has breathtaking views, you are close to thift shops, restaurants, and miles of beach. Amazing place, with amazing people.

We had a great time at this beachfront apartment. It had everything we needed for a short beach escape and it was great bring able to be able to see and hear the ocean from the apartment and only a short walk down a dune to a fairly quiet (at least in May) beach. The kitchen was well outfitted with enough cooking pots, pans and utensils you could make a meal though the under the counter fridge may be difficult for longer stays (the host did offer some additional space if needed). There was minimal pantry items compared to what the VRBO listing mentioned but there was clarification on what to bring before we came. There isn't much in Moclips in terms of services or resteraunts so make sure to plan ahead or plan to drive to Ocean shores or Aberdeen. Its about a 30 min drive to Ocean Shores and is very scenic. The hosts were very friendly and had clear instructions inside the house on their expectations and a guidebook that was helpful and communiciated quickly. Things like beach towels for using the hot tub was provided and it was an ideal space for the two of us and our baby. We had a great time and would book definetly book again if were headed to that direction.

Appreciated the owners, immediate help with TV when needed. Would have appreciated an outline of check out procedures in the info book. Fantastic location, comfortable, pleasing furnishings, great hot tub!

Great views from the porch, from the sofa, and from the bedroom. We walked out the door and across the dunes right to the beach. We enjoyed ourselves and Mike was fantastic!

This was our 2nd stay at the Beach Bum Inn, so that should say how much we like it there! It has everything a couple needs for a relaxing beach getaway. Full bath, comfortable bed, big windows to enjoy the view and a wonderful hot tub to relax in after beachcombing or exploring the local area. My only advice is bring your food & drinks as the only 'real' grocery store is about 35 miles away.

Beautiful beach waves to wake up to. Clean. Great advice to walk to the right and along the Moclips River for a wind break and some nice birding from book of local activities. Wish we would have checked into when clamming season was but that will give us an excuse to come back! Hot tub was to temp, clean, and a superb view of the beach and out of the wind. Nothing fancy but if you want that, there’s Seabrook. For us, much more enjoyable to be ON the beach. Comfortable bed. Great rinse off outdoor shower. And the best part? There were no big grocery stores so we HAD to go out to eat. And what’s more, the closest and only restaurant we could find was high quality dining with not too bad of prices for that. We ate at ocean crest resort for 4 fabulous meals! Highly recommend. We were even able to check in early, although we didn’t quite make it up the place till later. There’s even a trail that’s lit at night if you wanted to beach walk at evening or dusk. Being close to the river gave more interest to the beach and drivable to Quinault yo see the big trees. Overall, a relaxing and enjoyable spring trip.

My kids and I stayed here for a couple of nights for spring break. It was the perfect setting for my 16 yr old to relax & unwind while my energetic 12 yr old got his wiggles out on the beach. We played frisbee, flew one of their provided kites, played board games, star gazed, and relaxed in the hot tub (WiFi was provided but I didn't share that with my kids so we could all take a technology break lol). Everything we needed was provided, and the hosts were so warm and friendly! I only wish the capacity was 4 people so we could have brought my mom along. Actually, I have two wishes - I also wish we could have stayed all week! ;) Wonderful stay and I'm recommending to friends and family. Thank you, Jim & Patti!

Beautiful spot on the beach, very clean and the hot tub was greatly enjoyed by my husband. Owners live upstairs and were very obliging with any questions we had. Short walk through the beach grasses to the water, fire pit, would go again.

I really enjoyed this quiet and cozy place. The big picture windows with views and views of ocean waves. The nice patio outside the door to sit and read and/or relax in the hot tub. An easy walk from the house down the path out to the beach. Beautiful starry sky at night. It is a very clean and well appointed place!

This was the second time we have stayed. It is a great getaway. We only come from Port Angeles but it is like a world away. The accommodations are more than adequate. Comfortable and clean. The only thing that could have been better was more sunshine. It was cloudy the whole time still enjoyable to walk the beach and watch the pelicans. The hot tub is a plus.

Relaxing beach getaway
It is right on the beach, and while it was a little cold when we visited we could still cuddle up inside and watch waves from the windows. The hosts and all the locals are exceptionally friendly in this small town.

Beautiful on the beach property
I've stayed at other places that were listed as on the beach but were not. This property is. You can have your coffee on their deck and see wonderful waves. There were quite a few clam diggers;) just as a side note, the bathroom has a step up to get inside so a wheelchair bound person might have a hard time. The fridge is a small mini but Patti and Jim made room in their garage for extra frigde space as we stayed for 5 days. They had all amenities. I will be going back in the fall. It was too cold for us to use the hot tub so will look forward to that.

Easy check in. Beautiful view, quiet and relaxing. We especially liked having our own private beach path. Cute place and will come again. Also nice to have the wash off area with warm water, my little dog, Dot, appreciated that.

My longtime friend and I enjoyed our stay in this clean, cozy 1 bedroom apartment with sleeper sofa. We chose this property for its beachfront location/ views and private hot tub, and we were not disappointed. Communication with the hosts was easy and prompt. We look forward to a return visit.

Very nice property right on the beach. Gorgeous view. Very nice sitting by the fireplace, drinking coffee or cocoa and just relaxing by reading, puzzling hot tubbing or going for walks. We loved it as did our dog.

Beach Bum Christmas
Had a delightful, quiet and peaceful stay over Christmas, just the two of us. Snow on the beach was a rare treat! Our second stay here, and we'll be back again. It's a treasure for a single or couple seeking quiet and tasteful accommodations, fully furnished and equipped for homestyle cooking, with direct beach access. More homey than those much-advertised hotels up the coast. Plenty to watch from inside or outside, and a nice base to come home to after a day of exploring the Olympic Peninsula as well. Everything is as described, very good quality, host communications were timely and informative.

Wonderful and Peaceful
it was even better in person that the listing made it seem! I visited during the rainy season and I am looking forward to visiting when I can take advantage of the firepit and hottub. Although the hottub is covered, so if I was a heartier soul I totally could have used the hottub this time too.

Great place, right by the beach.
It rained both days but we are from Washington and enjoyed walking on the beach both days. The last night we were treated to a magnificent sunset. We especially enjoyed the hot tub. Everything was perfect and just as advertised.
