Nada
Tuve un problema y no me dieron solución coherente. Además del ruido que hacía fuera y la almohada que no se podía ni dormir

Very modern, efficient self check in systems. Lovely rooms and comfortable beds. Loads of parking.
Location wasn’t great, but we knew this, so no problem.

Fort Reykjavík it is inexpensive. the cooking facilities what allow you to say some money is restaurants are expensive. I didn’t do this for the two days I stayed. This was partially because I wasn’t sure where I would find a store for Groceries.
I wish Booking.com had made it clear that this is a completely automated facility. It’s really an Airbnb not a hotel. This proved to be a problem. When I arrived at 4 o’clock for a room with guaranteed check in at 3 o’clock and I used the automated check in facility I was told The room wasn’t ready. I tried phoning the number, but no answer. A German couple, then arrived, and had the same problem. We finally got through and got checked in. With the person we were talking to on the phone.
Also, I was nervous about taking the transfer from the hotel to the fly bus to get to the airport. A taxi to the airport is about $200 Canadian and the fly bus about 40. I was concerned about my transfer being late and it was 10 minutes late. But things worked out. Had I been in a hotel I wouldn’t be able to get some assistance from the front desk.
The Reykjavík lights Hotel is about two minutes away. I think next time If I had a short stay I would pay the extra $100 a night and stay there to avoid the problems noted above.

Great design, room has a nice chilled vibe.
Self check in is easy.
Room is very warm and toasty!
Kitchen well equipped with everything you need.
Located close to a few bus stops or you can walk into town.
Quiet area, no noise at night.
Bar was permanently closed - I'm assuming this isnt always the case but we had no info on it.
Could have done with some more hangers in the room as there were only 3 and we didn't have anywhere else to put things.
Also could really do with a floor mat for wet boots and somewhere to hang wet coats by the door!
But these are minor points....we loved staying here and would 100% stay here again!

Liked the equiped kitchen, bed was super comfortable and the bathroom was pretty.
There was no shower door, so there was water all over the place during bath.
There was no place to hold soap and shampoo except the foor inside the shower.
There was not much place to store necessaire things.
All that could be improved but didn't diminish my satisfaction with the stay.

The location was nice, right downtown
The hotel was focused on style over substance. There was a full kitchen, but nowhere to put your clothes at all, there is no shower door, so the shower gets the whole bathroom wet, no ironing equipment, little parking, and no amenities to speak of. I definitely don’t recommend it.

Rooms looked as per the pictures and it was clean. The kitchen was well equipped for such a small space and useful to have.
Whilst check in itself was easy, there is no room map so it is very difficult to find your room on check in and there were no staff around to help. The room was very hot on arrival (it was top floor and in august) and there was no air con or fan so was difficult to cool. The room was also quite noisy from the road outside and my room was right opposite the entrance to the top floor from the lift so people traffic was noisy. I also found the mattress and pillow uncomfortable (although this may be more personal preference).
4.5
easy self booking process, cleanliness, location, calmness ... all this is worthy of praise
quick responsiveness of staff, management, to specific requests of guests, variety of breakfast choices, not to mention the price :) ... all this could be better

Location and amenities (fridge, kitchen, oven/microwave, clean towels). Self check in was veryeasy.
The sign that points where the hotel is located is very small and difficult to find. The elevator was smelly, the bed as well (smelled like weed), the bathroom floor was a bit dirty.

Nice room with a useful kitchenette. The bathroom was good. Nice additional breakfast.

Property doesn't respond to emails nor booking messages. Was charged 2 times for one night. Check-in door access code isn't sent. I have to call. It's not a smooth process. TV didn't work. I would awoid at all cost

Comfortable budget stay, well equipped room with kitchenette

Breakfast was really nice - continental with a lot of choice! Loved the homemade fresh waffles that you could make yourself with the waffle machine! Lots of choices of meats, cereals and fresh fruit & pastries!
Room was very comfortable and cosy, perfect for what we needed. Loved that the apartments were also self catering so you could buy food, cook it and take it out with you for the day on day trips!
A little bit out of the town, a long walk and our bus stop was out of use at the time so it was a long walk to the nearest stop, however the views walking into the town are very pretty so we felt like we got to explore a lot!
3.5
The bed.
The location, the lack of a receptionist, the lack of cleaning and bed sheet changing - the cleaning staff only washed the dishes and provided new towels.

Really nice clean and modern hotel, I loved the ease of self check in and the really useful kitchen with all the essential tools to cook nice dinners - rather pay a bit more on a comfy hotel and save by not eating out. Kitchen knife is actually sharp. Close to a couple of supermarkets and a shopping centre all within 5-10 mins walk. Shampoo and shower gel smells really nice. The bed was super big and comfy. Heater is really warm which is nice. I was able to store my bags for a few hours upon checkout. Checkout time was flexible.
The distance to the city is probably the biggest downside. Yes it's walkable but it takes about 20 mins to get to bus stop 12 and around 15 mins to the city centre. 35 mins to the BSI bus interchange. You could try public transport or the electric scooters but this adds to the cost of staying here.
A range hood would have been nice to absorb the cooking fumes. Someone was cooking and had set off the fire alarm, one of the guests had to call the hotel staff (no one was present). I thought it was my cooking but it turned out to be another person. Towels on the floor were not replaced but I figured out eventually that you can just grab a new one from the cupboard at the end of the hallway.
To the owners: please ask your cleaners not to put the wet sponge on the dishwashing tablets - they all dissolved and got stuck together. Please also add a mattress protector - I think you'd be able to keep the mattress cleaner and prolong its lifespan. The TV had like 5 channels, none were icelandic, the news channels were not working. The TV was skew on the wall. Fortunately the TV had youtube on so you can watch videos from there but would've loved to watch some local TV. I've come across two guests at the door who did not receive information (or couldn't find it) to enter the lobby as the front doors close quite early and you need a pin to enter. For me it was not a problem fortunately.

The hotel was great and really well located - less than 10 minutes by car from the centre. There was lots of parking available and it was in a really quiet location, which was nice.
The bunk bed studio room was really well equipped with a decent sized kitchenette, combi oven and dishwasher, and the bathroom was nice too with a great shower. The beds were extremely comfy and there were spare towels just outside to change them whenever we wanted.
I would definitely recommend to anyone staying in Reykjavík!

nice room once we finally found it - breakfast was good value
hard to find - poor signage - no facilities - was a lot of money and no fresh towels or bed made would be nice if the reception was manned - no way to get a drink or snack once there

Nice place, nice breakfast
Too much hostel for my

good location about 10 minutes in a taxi from the city centre
our room wasn’t cleaned for the 3 days we stayed so we didn’t have any clean towels. after 4pm couldn’t get a drink at the bar as no staff where in the hotel. every night we would sit in the lobby and wait to get a drink but no staff would be working I’m not sure if they finish earlier in the winter but it was like a ghost town.
3.5
The decoration of the place is very nice.
The breakfast is not really worth it, the coffee was old and poorly prepared, but the staff in front of us were drinking freshly prepared coffee. When we mentioned the issue with the coffee they said that we should have that one and that there was no more. In the same way, the offer was very minimal, there were no basic things such as eggs, additionally they only had whole cow's milk. They did not make refills of the things that ran out and we had to ask, but the attention of the lady at the reception was very bad. I stayed in more than 7 hotels during my stay in Iceland and by far this was the one with the worst service.
Additionally, the day we arrived, the man from the bar said that he had no idea of anything and that he had only been there for two days, the room numbers are almost illegible, so it is difficult to locate yourself. The instructions that they send you at the beginning are not complete, for example, they do not include parking information or the Wi-Fi password, and being a self-checking hotel, it can be complicated.

lovely property. clean & quiet.
no staff around most of the day apart from breakfast.
