Everyone needs a great getaway and I think this little jewel of a property provides just that. Our intention was to create a luxurious relaxing atmosphere without losing the feel of staying in a 1935 log cabin. The linens and furnishings are of the best quality and add to the pampered experience that we hope our guests enjoy. The 2 fireplaces, steam shower for two, and outdoor hot tub also add to the spa experience for our guests. This little cabin offers far beyond what one would expect in a rental property.
We do have to charge the provincial and federal sales tax but on the night rate only.
The kitchen is completely equipped right down to the plastic wine glasses for the hot tub.
We have put the price range at a rate that everyone can afford

Imagine spending the days on the ski slopes or using the cross country ski trails, that are just steps from the cabin, taking a steam shower or coming downstairs to enjoy a quiet evening with a glass of fine wine in front of the stone fireplace. Perhaps you will prefer enjoying that glass of wine, while soaking in the hot tub underneath the stars and surrounded by the tall Canadian pines.
We have added a queen size blow up mattress with all of the proper bedding, should another couple wish to bunk out in front of the fireplace.
We have added snow shoes for those who would care to take a walk into the woods and flip flops and robes for your convenience.

Ok…..we knew this property was going to be great from the pictures and positive reviews but wow!! This little cabin far exceeded what we thought it would be. We were met by a deer in the first 5 min of arrival! Cool!
The cabin itself was absolutely perfect! A perfect blend of rustic and modern.
The area couldn’t have been more ideal. We jammed a lot into the week we were there. Parks, trails all accessible. After a day of outdoor activities the hot tub was pure joy!! We would definitely recommend and will definitely be back!! Thank you Gail

Fine cabin, easy to find hard to leave! It has everything you would need. After a nice walk you can relax in the whirlpool. Short drive to nearby towns. And we had visits from deer, squirrels, a ground hog and rabbits. Loved it to be so close to nature!

We had a fantastic stay at the cozy cabin in Morin-Heights. The cabin was outfitted with everything we required and was close to hiking trails. We also had a great time exploring the local area.

Wonderful stay at a lovely cabin with all the amenities that you need. After a long day biking on the trails, it was so nice to come back to a nice soak in the hut tub then dinner by the cozy fire. Will plan to come back in the winter to ski.

What a wonderful cottage/cabin for two. We had a relaxing week in Morin Heights and look forward to a return visit.
The property had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The hot tub is a treat.
Closeness to the Corridor Aerobique was a pleasant surprise. We enjoyed the cycling.
Communication with the host was responded to quickly; our questions were clearly answered and instructions were clear.

The Cabin is amazing, it was perfect for my partner and me. It is secluded but only 3 minutes from town. The hot tub and steam shower were a dream, and the furniture and amenities were perfect for the space and very comfortable. The Host was easy to communicate with and provided us will all the required information for our stay. We could have easily stayed for 10 days rather than 4. I would highly recommend this location if you are looking for a peaceful romantic getaway near Ottawa or Montreal.

Jewel box of a chalet
An absolutely stellar place for a relaxing couples getaway! Everything was clean, comfortable, elegant, and convenient. We loved the wood-burning fireplace, the hot tub under the stars, the rainfall shower, and the cozy furniture perfect for curling up on with a book (which we did). It was an easy walk to the nearby snowshoeing trails, which we also enjoyed. We would love to return next winter!

This is a return visit for me and again, loved it. The cottage is so cozy and inviting, with everything at your disposal. Great cabin location for active getaway for two!
We loved that the cabin is located steps away from the aerobic corridor trail system and nestled in the woods, offering a picturesque view and privacy. The cabin was equipped with everything we needed for a week's stay. We enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub after days of long hikes and bike rides and loved using the fireplace in the evenings. If you are tall, this cabin might not be for you as the ceilings and some ceiling light fixtures are quite low. If you have mobility issues, this cabin might not be for you as the staircase to the bedroom is precarious.

Romantic Cabin is the perfect name
Perfect retreat for a couple. Cabin is large for 2 (now they allow up to 4 by adding an inflatable mattress). Obvious attention to detail, good quality features and design, robes, towels, etc.
Location allows all types of outdoor activities, climbing, hiking, biking (mountain or road), cross country ski, swimming, etc all at walking distance, for all levels. There is a beautiful park nearby with volleyball, a small pond and a beach (proof of rental required, I showed the VRBO contract on my phone).
Cabin has 2 decks on opposite sides. The outdoor hot tub is perfect to relax after physical activity, there is a fireplace indoor and an outdoor fire pit. Close enough to restaurants and shopping. Very good communication with management, easy process. Clean, and COVID protocols followed. Highly recommend.

Cozy Cottage Getaway
This cozy cottage was the perfect little getaway. Everything was so clean. The bedroom upstairs was adorable. I couldnt get enough of it. And the bed was extremely comfortable too. This cottage is in walking distance to the little town and to all the hiking trails. I would definitely recommend!

Amazing comfortable spa like retreat
I booked Gail’s property after finding it for myself and my hubby for our 29th anniversary. I read all the reviews and everyone only gushed about how amazing it was. My husband wanted to be surprised so he did not even look at pictures or reviews. Pulling up we were both very happy to see there was privacy even though there are neighbors close by. Gail had emailed and given us all the needed info, she was super nice. Even though I read all the reviews I was not prepared for how cozy and comfortable and sweet this place is. We were both blown away upon entering. We literally enjoyed every second of the 3 nights we were there. We enjoyed the hot tub and even brought our massage table to give each other massages in front of the roaring fire. We had fires every night. We went for walks on the trails and we were so tuckered out after, that we had a wee nap on the comfortable couch. We made a trip to town to pick up some Eucalyptus for the steam shower to make it even more like a spa. We totally recommend everyone do this. We have already been looking at future dates to come back as we were so pleased with our visit. It really is such a charming chalet. I can’t wait to see what it will be like in the winter months. The bed is very comfortable also which helps with a wonderful sleep!! Don’t even hesitate in booking this gem you won’t be disappointed at all. Thank you Gail for your lovely property, we definitely will be back and telling everyone about it as well. ☺️

Très joli chalet, spacieux pour deux personnes, très propre et rénové juste ce qu’il faut pour le confort tout en gardant un beau cachet. Il y a de la vaisselle, ustensiles et chaudrons en quantité. La piste de ski de fond passe tout près, nous avons passé de très bons moments.
