We had a wonderful time!

Sara is a great hostess. She met us when we arrived and answered our calls when we had questions. Her house is on a quiet street in a nice subdivision near a preserve. The hiking trails at the state and national parks were close by which we enjoyed everyday. Swimming in the pool was very relaxing after the hike. The airplane museum was a wonderful way to spend a rainy day. We enjoyed visiting the Tucson area. Thanks Sara for making our vacation memorable.

Sara was an amazing hostess. She was accommodating and everything was as described. If we ever visit Tucson again this is where we would stay. Fantastic.

The home, in the north end of Tucson, was ideal for us. It was very quiet as it was at the end of a cul de sac, backing on to a wash, where could take a good hike behind the house. The backyard setting was quite serene. We were celebrating a birthday and on that day we splurged to have the heater turned on for the hot tub to have a nice relaxing soak. This helped to warm us with the cold snap the week we were there (late February). As a very thoughtful treat, the host kindly brought by a birthday cake! She was an excellent host!
She was very responsive if we needed anything that the house may not have had, e.g., a tea kettle. She conveniently lived in the area. This was important since when we arrived we weren't able to find the key. It would be appreciated if we could have gotten the owner's phone number prior to arrival. We did use the VRBO app to message her and she soon came to let us in. Other than that, we had an excellent experience.
The layout of the rooms worked very well for us. I could recommend that they add another couch or chairs in the living room so we can watch TV or socialize easier.
I would definitely return to this place again.

Well furnished house. Kitchen has more supplies than most homes we have rented before. Everything was as advertised and my wife was impressed with the bed and shower head(Two things that bug her when we travel)

A group of us came from Alberta Canada and stayed at this property and the house was great. Sara the property owner was amazing, super easy to get ahold of, quick to respond and so great! We loved staying here

Everything you want & need is here. Great location with restaurants, hiking trail, and short ride south to downtown. Clean, comfortable, and homey feel. Owners is very gracious, personable, helpful and close by to insure your stay goes well.

Tucson has so much rich history and drop dead gorgeous surroundings that we wanted to take as much in as we could. We got out for a cool hike almost daily. Tucson mountains, Catalina, Tortolitas, downtown Tucson and the U of A campus. All fun, relaxing and beautiful.

The home is in a very nice setting. The beds were comfortable and the owner, Sara, was very nice to work with! Her cleaning crew does a very poor job and there was so much clutter stuffed in the cabinets that it was hard to find things.

My husband and I stayed here while moving into our new house in Tucson. It made for a convenient staging area as it was only ten minutes away.
Pros:
- Good location; close to shopping
- Quiet neighborhood
- Pool; washer and dryer
- Sara left a homemade cake for our arrival; nice touch
Cons:
- Fridge and freezer hadn’t been cleaned out before we arrived- open half bottle of wine, remnants of a large plastic bottle of iced tea, half-used condiments (maybe some people appreciate that?)
- Owner’s belongings were everywhere (e.g. closets were full of clothes, paintings, etc.)
- Internet and tv reception were spotty
Bottom Line:
Sara seemed nice and helpful, but the house felt more like someone’s home than a rental property. I prefer a rental that's been professionally cleaned before I get there and has a less "lived-in" feel to it. Others might prefer something more homey.

Awesome home away from home
This was our first trip to Tucson. The pictures do not do this home justice. It is tucked into a beautiful area in the shadow of the Catalina Mountains. Gorgeous landscaping and a hiking trail right out the back door. Comfortable beds and all the kitchen items you would need. We will be back next year!

This property was filthy.
We arrived on Wednesday- had to clean fridge and freezer on arrival. The pool was cold and the gas grill did not have any propane. Owner out of town. Husband was rude and not helpful at all. Pet hair all over. Description did not talk about that - we sneezed and sniffed all week... contacted HomeAway- they said too bad, they couldn't guarantee anything. Last time we use them... Don't rent this property - it looks good in pics,
But needs a thorough cleaning and de junking. Kitchen cabinets full of junk... Ugh.

Very happy here!
We stayed here May 2017 for 4 nights while our daughter graduated from U of A Law School. We were very pleased with the house, the pool, the location, and the nice, peaceful setting. The owner, Sara, lives near by, and is extremely accommodating! She made sure we were comfortable and that we enjoyed ourselves.
