This cottage was an amazing place to stay! It was very private with its own little yard, and we loved hearing the chickens in the morning and watching the sun rise over the ocean. The cottage was well-equipped with everything we needed, and Diana was a great host!

My husband and I spent our days hiking some of the most beautiful, challenging trails in the world, swimming at our favorite beaches and having Mai Tais with local Koloa rum on the lanai of our absolutely perfect hawaiian cottage. We loved our accommodations and seriously have never slept on a more comfortable mattress. Thank you, Diana.

We have stayed multiple times and each and every visit has been everything we needed and more. We show up a little tense from the travels and within the first day we are relax and ready for anything. The only bad thing I could say is we didn’t stay long enough! Diana is one of the sweetest people you will meet and with her chill vibe and kindness, we always feel like we’re visiting family. Mahalo, til we meet again!

Beautiful location with incredible views of both the ocean and mountains. Spacious cottage that is well-equipped with amenities and very private. Ceiling fans throughout and ocean breezes created a comfortable space. Quiet, yet well located for exploring all of Kauai. Highly recommend!

I have stayed at this cottage several times and it never disappoints. Even on a rainy day, it's perfect - so peaceful and sweet. I love watching the sun rise out of the ocean every morning. I spend hours lying in the hammock, enjoying the singing birds, the clicking palms, and the soft breeze. At night, it's wonderfully dark and silent, and there are beautiful stars. What more do you need?

We had the most marvelous time at the aptly named 'sweet rustic cottage'. The cottage is marvelously located with an ocean view from the patio and a view of close craggy mountains from the lawn. The cottage is spotless and contains everything we needed. It is a truly magical place and we fully intend to come back there.

This was the perfect little hideaway for our stay in Kauai. Diana was very communicative, checked in on us during a short power outage and provided great information. The cottage was beautiful and just our taste. It was a good location for all of the north and east shores. Get away from the resorts and the people in this lovely, rustic cottage!

This sweet cottage was perfect for our stay! It’s nestled in a small, quiet neighborhood with lots of privacy. We loved hanging out in the hammock outside with the large grassy area to view the ocean on one side and the mountains on the other! The house had everything we needed to enjoy our stay including kitchen supplies, coffee, towels, etc. I would absolutely stay here again!

This cottage was perfect--close to the highway to get anywhere on the island, but so rural and peaceful with chickens everywhere and goats just down the hill (goat yoga!). Diana is a wonderful and helpful host. We were very comfortable and happy there.

We had an incredible time staying in Diane’s cottage. So peaceful! Our only regret is that we could not stay longer! With more time, we would’ve spent an entire day there, just to enjoy the surroundings.
We can’t wait to return!

This place was still close to everything we had planned. Yet once we went back to the cottage, it was so quiet and peaceful! The neighborhood dog came to visit, which we absolutely loved the chickens or on the porch, and we loved hearing them every morning! The morning sunrise was absolutely gorgeous! Everything was perfect

At home, we live in a condo and hear plenty of human activity around us. It was a wonderful change to have a home retreat for our stay. The setting is beautiful and a nice change from the usual tourist spots. The cottage is roomy and has what one needs for a relaxing stay.

Simple home in beautiful “get-away” setting. Very relaxing after a day out exploring.

We enjoyed our week long stay! The place was reasonably clean and cute. The views were spectacular of both the mountains and ocean. We loved the dogs Coconut and WaiWai who frequently visited. Close to Kapa’a but rural enough where we slept with windows open and doors unlocked. Very peaceful and relaxing. Great that they have a cooler, snorkel gear, beach chairs, beach towels, etc already there for you to use. It was fantastic to have a washer, dryer AND clothes line.
Nice little place.

A quiet and quaint home perfect for a few days of downtime. The location in Anahola is situated perfectly between the north and south shore - making each easily accessible.

Isolated yet close proximity to local attractions. Super cute with farm animals to keep you company. Lots of birds, flowers and sounds of nature. Faces magnificent sunsets with a peek of the ocean. Home is inviting, clean, unique and has everything you need. Nice bed, hot hot water with good water pressure. Laundry and clothes line available along with adventure gear. Very pleased with this location and our stay.

Quiet, great location. Enjoyed the snorkel equipment, boogie board, noodle, beach chairs. So thoughtful. Saw five wild pigs passing through.
Gorgeous view of ocean. Birdsong. Everything you’d want in a kitchen.
Best place we’ve ever stayed.

This tucked-away little cottage was just what we were looking for on this trip to Kauai. The grounds and neighborhood felt very safe and welcoming and have a sense of community but privacy. Diana is close by and very responsive and caring but not intrusive. The flowers and lush vegetation surround a large lawn where the chicken and birds gathered. The morning birdsong and sunrises were such a joyful start of each day.
You can easily walk to the ocean which has a nice beach and river. Surfing too. There was quite a bit of rain for the first few days which added to the beauty. Anahola is a nice spot to retreat after a day of activities. Don't be afraid of a little rain or weather. It adds to the vibe, continue with your planned activities... it will change.
The cottage is well equipped, peaceful and comfortable. A small Market nearby has the basics and the Kalalea Juice Bar is a must do! You can shop for big groceries at Costco in Lihue or at Safeway in Kapa'a which is only 20 minutes away. The other nice thing about Anahola is that it's pretty easy to get to things both north and south. It was a perfect stay for us and if you like something "less touristy", we highly recommend it. Mahalo Diana.

This place is amazing! We throughly enjoyed every minute of our stay. It was so peaceful and quiet, ocean view in the front and mountain view in the back. The cottage is fully stocked with everything that you could need. We usually stay at resorts when we visit Hawaii, but we have tasted paradise and will return. Thanks Diana!

Great location close to kapaa and north shore. Lovely cottage w/ views of King King mountain on one side and sunrise over Anahola beach on the other. Bed very comfortable. All you need to cook an amazing meal for has been provided. We could not have asked for a more perfect space to retreat and launch for all our Kauai adventures. Diana is an amazing and kind hostess. We loved being here and hope to return.

We loved this cottage. It had everything we needed. It was so peaceful and the prefect spot to come back to after a day out on the island. We appreciated the beach gear and the washer / dryer was great as we were there for 9 days. The sunrise from bed was beautiful. If you are looking for a laid back, private, unique location this is the cottage. Mahalo Diana. We loved it there!

This cottage is in a charming country setting with one neighbor offering goat yoga. It is absolutely private and quiet - the only sounds we heard were the birds, roosters and the distant surf. The kitchen has been updated and was very well equipped and neatly organized making cooking enjoyable. The bathroom has also been updated and the bed was very comfortable. There is a large lawn and a distant ocean view in front and a spectacular view of Kalalea Mountain in the back. We walked to Anahola Beach from the cottage. It’s a little less than a mile, about half through the woods and half down a quiet road lined with large beautiful trees. The beach is lovely. There are many lovely beaches within 30 minutes of the cottage. Our favorites were Paliku (Donkey) Beach and Moloa’a. There’s a wonderful paved walkway from Kapa’a to just beyond Donkey Beach which is just a few minutes from the cottage. We avoided Kapa’a except for going to Sam’s Ocean View, which was great. We shopped in Kilauea and Princeville. Kilauea has several nice cafes and a good bakery. Princeville has a good grocery store. Diana, the owner, provided excellent directions and information for checking in. It couldn’t have been easier.
