This is our 2 year staying at the cabin and love ever minute of it.

We enjoyed our stay. There is definatly no cell service(as advertised), so no calls were able to be made, but WIFI was adequate so you wereen't totally disconnected The house is a little noisey(lots of creeking and squeaking floors and not very soundproof, but very relaxing and enjoyable. Unfortunatly 1/2 our group got pretty sick for the last half of the week so that kind of through a wrench into things. That was not the houses fault though, so can't blame it. It may be that we were able to relax so much after such stressfull times that it caught up to us.

Every year we rent a place so we can have time with our family. We have a small family. Only 9 of us total. We love to get away from the hustle of everyday life.
This home was perfect as far as the size of the home. We all had plenty of room and everyone had a bed. The kitchen is well stocked as well.
Just one thing to be aware of when renting this home. There are several HOA rules to follow. We primarily go to spend the day fishing with our children and grandchildren. In this subdivision you are only allowed to fish half (1/2) the River and ONLY on the actual property owned by the homeowner. For clarification you cannot go past the property line and you can only cast right to left and not across the creek/river. The way I understood it is that the homeowners own 1/2 of the river frontage and only on their side of the river. When we vacation usually all 9 of us are fishing all day long. We only had one (from our family) fish while at the house. This is no reflection on the owner or the home. They have no control over the HOA restrictions.
We did drive to a different location so that the entire family could fish Saturday morning.
Every morning and evening we could sit and watch the deer graze in the front yard with their little ones. Several sets of newborn twins fawns to watch play around.
The homeowners are very kind and we appreciate them allowing us to stay in their home.

Properties location to the Toccoa River is why we rent this cabin, the owners checked with us everyday , Once to inform us about a HOA rule we hadn't broken, next day to check on why we had a friend drop by and to tell us not to sublet property or to allow public access ( we had done neither ) 3rd day when we arrived from kayaking, they were there doing lawn maintenance at 4:30 PM , they did ask us if they could continue , which I said yes. We will rent again even though owners are very watchful and a little dsconcerting. We rented this same cabin 2023, Owners were very watchful then as well.

The house was lovely and had everything we needed for a fun family vacation. The river behind the house was fun to tube and fish in. The fire pit was convenient and relaxing. The large yard around the house was fun to play in, and the hot tub was clean and a nice escape from the bugs.
The house is very creaky and you can hear EVERYTHING happening upstairs. The wood floors don't offer much insulation to noise. The kitchen is well stocked and large enough for two families to gather and eat.
Bring your own tubes, fishing poles, bait, firewood, charcoal, bug spray and you'll have a blast at this remote cabin.

Had a great time fishing and relaxing at the house. The property is very private and is right on the river. Would definitely recommend.

The property is nice and secluded, but is about 25+ from everything. The owners reached out personally to ensure we had everything we needed before checking in. We loved the home and was able to sleep our large family comfortably. Any issues we had were addressed immediately. Cleaning seemed short-cut a little. Very dusty areas with lots of buildup. Was disappointed there was no access to laundry. Overall, we would probably stay here again for the price and size.

Great stay in Suches for AP Trail leg walks.
The cabin is great! We selected it because of it's proximity to section walk the AP trail from the southern terminus at Springer Mountain. Section hiking is an effort in logistics and works well from this cabin. It's big and is located on a river which is great after long AP trail section walks. Swim in the cold river followed by 15 minutes in the hot tub and you feel great. Pet friendly......... our dogs loved the openness, as did we, and we cooked smores in the pit each night..... bring bug spray. All communication was easy, check-in was easy, as was check out. Thanks for a great long weekend.

Weekend getaway
House is kept up nicely. Decor was good not overly decorated like some cabins. House has lots of space. Outside is perfect for playing games. Plenty of room for lots of people. Landscaping was beautiful. Homeowner was very easy to get in touch with and wants to accommodate. We will definitely rent again. Fishing wasn’t as good as we hoped due to we only had permission to fish 1/2 across river (neighbors across river will watch you to make sure). However that is the only thing that wasn’t great.

Catch and release fish
House was beautiful and clean. Disappointed not a lot of riverfront that could be fished. Alot of bushes and treelimbs in the way. Neighbors were not so nice . Fish were only catch and release

Big space for outside fun
We visited with 3 families. The fishing was great and we used the firepit and picnic areas. Teens spent a lot of time in the hot tub. The yard in the front is gigantic and the kids were outside for an entire day playing kickball and other sports. On a rainy day though we felt like the indoor space was kind of tight for all of us. Mostly because the kids were arguing with each other! We would definitely choose to stay in this property again. Everybody enjoyed

Celebrating Moms 75th Birthday
We really enjoyed our stay at the cabin. Check in and Out was so simple. Deirdre is a fabulous host and very quick to respond to emails. The cabin is just beautiful with lots of little extras to help you feel at home. Extra blankets in each bedroom, kitchen well equipped, closet full of games/puzzles and a 3 ring binder loaded with information and helpful hints.
Our only hiccup during out stay was the hot tub. Please check the setting/power as soon as you arrive. The hot tub was turned off, but we didn't realize this until we were standing on the deck ready to get in. Unfortunately, we lost the entire evening because a hot tub takes hours to heat up. I only post this as a cautionary tale to others. Please go enjoy this beautiful cabin with it's serene setting, just keep a eye on the hot tub power.

We loved this property. It was the most well stocked cabin we have ever stayed in and was in an absolutely beautiful setting. We had a party of 10 staying there from all age ranges and there was enough room for everyone.

Charming Mountain House
Perfect mountain house for our trip with friends. Easy check in and check out. Kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed to cook and grill. The hot tub was working and so nice after a long day of hiking in the cold. Game cabinet upstairs was a plus and kept the kids occupied. The host had an entire binder of information for local shops, hiking spots, groceries, etc. would definitely stay again!

BEAUTIFUL HOUSE
The house was gorgeous! Location was beautiful and host response was quick. We had issues turning on the heat and Deidrea was on the phone with us walking us through what we needed. The indoor fireplace made it feel like a true mountain home. She and her husband stopped by while we had an incredible bonfire outside by the creek . They were just making sure everyone had what they needed. Owners are pleasant and were very helpful in planning out trip and pointing out places to visit, traffic times etc. We couldn't be more please with out stay

Nice house, good amenities
It's a beautiful house with a nice picnic and firepit area. The place was clean and well-stocked with basic supplies, better than a lot of rentals I've stayed at. The master bed was comfortable. The living room sofa was not comfortable. The French doors from the master bedroom to the back screened porch are unfortunately locked with a keyed deadbolt. Access to open that would have been nice. Do take note that the house is pretty remote. It's a good 30 minute drive to any restaurant or store. We found the road up to Blairsville much easier going than south to Dahlonega. Do not plan to have cellular service. Overall, our stay was very nice.

More than enough room
The cabin is right on the Toccoa River with lots of frontage. We enjoyed the extra large front yard where the kids really enjoyed playing. It was great not being on top of another homeowner, nice and quiet!! We would recommend it!!

Beautiful place for all to enjoy
This was the perfect spot to getaway for the weekend. The proximity to the river was wonderful and it had plenty of space for 3 families to enjoy. The kitchen is well stocked and there are lots of games and extras to enjoy if a rainy day happens while you're there. Kids loved fishing, tubing, and the hot tub. Adults loved the quiet spot, porches, and the view.

It was my husband's 60th Birthday so I planned a 4 day get away with our children and grandchildren.
The house was very nice, pictures probably do not give a true visual of the house. I was quite impressed how stocked everything was especially the kitchen. We were looking for a place to get away with minimal distractions and that is what we got. The river behind the house was great and the local Coopers Store told us of a waterfall and large water pool that we hiked to that was beautiful and secluded. Our time was well spent.

Everything perfect from check in to check out. Such a wonderful place inside and out. Fishing was great, tubing was awesome, campfires for excellent, couldn't ask for anything more.
