We have stayed here several times before and loved it. In the past, Debbie has been communicative and friendly but something changed with this stay and it felt more like we were dealing with a 'corporate landlord'. We were traveling from 5 and 8 hours away, and had asked a week or so in advance if we could check in early. Debbie replied they had people checking out that morning so it depended on whether the cleaners were done. THAT WAS FINE. We planned our travel based on not having early access. However, we got to the house 15 minutes early and could not get in. I messaged Debbie about being locked out and she never replied to me. It turned out that the code did not work on the door until exactly 4pm, even though the cleaners were gone. We only figured it out by randomly trying the code after waiting about 20 minutes for Debbie to respond to my message. Communication was non-existent.
We also had other small issues with the house during our stay, such as dirty dishes in the cupboards and the AC not keeping the house as cool as we would have liked.
Unfortunately, I don't think we will be staying here again.

We loved our stay! It was so nice to have a relaxing place to come back to and to be able to spread out with our kiddos having their own room. During a chaotic week, it was a great and peaceful place to come back to!

We loved the house, it was spacious and very clean. It is located very nicely as it close to so many amenities and restaurants. We had a great time and if we return to Kansas we would love staying here again!

Came for a Brewer game & to try the BBQ. BBQ was really good! House was in a good location for us. We felt very safe in the neighborhood and surrounding area. Pretty easy to get around. If we decide to return to KC for a visit we’d stay here again!

The home is beautiful, on a quiet street in a great neighborhood. The beds are comfortable, and the living room has several areas for conversation and watching television. We ventured into Kansas City (only a few minutes away) and were impressed with the ease of getting around with this home as our base.
We were visiting our daughter and her Kansas family, and had them over for Christmas dinner (arranged ahead of time). They all raved about how nice the house is, and how beautifully it is set up.
Debbie is a great host and the communication couldn't have been better. We absolutely love our stay, and will definitely book this home again when we are in town.

Property was exactly what we needed. A central location for a family Thanksgiving get together. Great space with open floor plan, expandable dining table, and space to lounge all in one! Perfect for our needs. Thank you for your hospitality-if we are in the area we will definitely stay again!

I arrives in KC for a funeral. My battle buddy from the wa also stayed at tge house. I use a wheel chair and walker. It was perfect, quiet, spacious and a wonderful place to enjoy the leaves changing while being close to everything.

We rented this house for a month. It was perfect for our needs. We especially enjoyed cooking in the kitchen.
It was very well equipped. A great open space for cooking and entertaining.
The neighborhood is quiet and was a good area for daily walks. We would recommend this house to others.

The inside of the house was clean and comfortable. The property was advertised with a screened in porch. The porch and patio area was very in very bad condition. It was very dirty and needed attention. I found it to be completely unusable. I was very disappointed as the outdoor porch and patio area were the main reason I rented this location. I was there for two weeks and unable to use the patio or screened in porch.

This home nested in a clean quiet neighborhood is central to all attractions in Kansas City with easy access to the highways. We enjoyed our stay.

We found the perfect place for our stay while we were in KC for our son's wedding. It's easy to get to highways and grocery stores. Key features we needed were dog-friendly, king bed, workable kitchen, and outdoor grill. This house had them all - and more! The kitchen could not have been better with new appliances and lots of light. The house has a great open floor plan, plenty of seating, lovely furnishings, comfortable beds and laundry space. The outside of the house is pretty plain but we were there for the interior features! It is in a convenient location and in a quiet neighborhood with plenty of sidewalks for dog-walking. Deb, the owner, was great with communications! And since she loves to cook, the kitchen was well stocked with all the cookware, gadgets, appliances, and everything I needed for our 8-day stay. Check out the photos and video-tour - they are spot on and provide a good sense of this awesome house!

House was conveniently located near I-35 which made getting around easy. The neighborhood is quiet and the house sits on a corner lot and there is good distance between the neighbors so you don’t feel like you are being watched. Communication with the owner was great. House has just about everything you would need. Tv has a Roku attached with multiple apps. I couldn’t tell if the owner subscribes to a lot of things or if previous guests forgot to sign out.

We were sufficiently comfortable in this house, as we reserved it last minute (less than a month before) for the Christmas/New Year's holidays. All beds are in 2 bedrooms, so sometimes we had to wrangle for who got to stay at the house and who had to go to gma and gpa's. However, the living arrangements in the main area were great. We came here during the coldest days this year, and the house was very cozy and warm. Kitchen was well stocked with cooking equipment and a great setup. Lots of light throughout. The air purifier was a nice touch (we hate stale air!), and the porch was wonderful for drinking my morning coffee listening to the birds once the cold days ended!
For those bringing pets, there is a big yard, but it is not fenced in. We were unaware of this, but the listed does not mention a fence, to be fair, and we did not ask. You will have to leash and walk your pets outside. For the 2 dogs we have, that took some work, but it didn't ruin anything. There is nice dead end road to walk down to get your pets exercise and a brisk, easy walk for yourself, as well.
Nice-sized park just down the street, if you have kids that need to get their wiggles out. ;)
Neighborhood was nice and quiet, except one neighbor did scream "SHUT UP!' at my autistic son from their house when he was having a difficult time transitioning inside one evening. That is not a flaw of the house or owner, but just something to be aware of if you have a disabled child. People who "don't care to understand" are everywhere.
Communication was quick and clear with the owner. She clearly cares about this home and keeping experiences good for present and future guests.
If you have a small tribe visiting your larger tribe, this is a good value! :)

This was a great choice for visiting family and friends with easy access to highways and convenient grocery shopping nearby. It was so comfortable with quality furnishings throughout. Loved the screened porch and patio! Great communications too. Thank you Deb! Would love to stay again.

We stayed at this property while visiting family in the area. The location is excellent, as the house is on a quiet street, yet still close to interstate access.
Pros of this location: Convenient location, high end appliances, beautiful kitchen (I wanted to take it home with me! lol ), ample room to move around, beautiful sun porch, large yard with mature trees, quality bedding, comfortable furniture. Ramps both to the front door and in the garage which enables easy access for anyone who has trouble with steps. Also, we found Deb to be just as helpful and communicative as all of the other reviews say she is!
Cons of this location: The ONLY con for US with this location is the fact that the bathroom doors were too narrow for our son's rollator walker to get through. So please note that even though the home has ramps, a standard wheelchair or walker will NOT fit into the bathrooms. Other than that issue, (which would not even be an issue for most folks) we found this to be a wonderful place to stay.

The rugs throughout were a tripping and slipping hazard. The king size bed was very uncomfortable and made nosey sounds every time we moved.

We really enjoyed staying at this property, the owners have done a wonderful job with updating the entire house. Comfortable beds, fully stocked kitchen with every device imaginable, large front and backyard that my children loved playing in (even includes outdoor toys and basketball hoop). Quiet neighborhood that is close to a park and nice to just walk around. Owner was very prompt with communication. Would definitely recommend this property!

We stayed here while our floors were being re-done, so we are actually from the area. This home was perfect for us, the kitchen was beautiful and stocked with everything we needed to make some great dinners. The area was close to the hwy so you can get really anywhere very quickly. Power & Light, Downtown and the Plaza are all very easy to visit from here and great places to eat close by. The neighborhood was very quiet and really nice to walk the dogs several times a day and they neighbors were all very friendly.
If you are coming to KC to visit, stay here, you will not regret it!

We thoroughly enjoyed staying here during our recent trip to KC! The house was exactly as pictured and very clean, with a well appointed kitchen and plenty of linens. The location was convenient to both the family we were visiting, downtown KC, and a great local coffee shop as well. The owner, Debbie, was available via text for any questions and super responsive. One thing we weren’t expecting was the basketball hoop in the driveway and my son was thrilled! (There is as also a basketball!) We would absolutely stay here again!

We slept so well at this house. It had everything we needed to be comfortable. Easy check-in. The neighborhood was great for us because we love to go on walks with our dog and there even was a good coffee shop less than a mile's walk with great food and fresh juices. The outside of the house is not nearly as cute as the inside. Also, we obviously caught them during unseasonably warm weather and wanted to hang on their screened in porch which needs some loving attention like the inside has already received. Otherwise the place was perfect and would return there in the future.
