The house was perfect. Two minute walk to the beach, plenty of parking in the front and back of the house. We only stayed 3 days, but I suggest bringing extra toilet paper, paper towels and trash bags. We ran out of everything. I would definitely stay here again.

They made me resubmit my review because I showed the crazy add on prices for housecleaning, nonrefundable dog fee, prosessing fees, accidental damage fee,local accomodation fee.....then VRBO gets in on it also ...be warned this place is not updated at all ...if you have older people they will not be able to use the stairs to go upstairs unless they go outside and take the stairs outdoors. THE POOL IS NOT HEATED!!! Make sure you bring toilet paper ,papertowels, laundry detergent..ect you will not find any of those things .. House was not clean ..I have never left a bad review before but i feel obligated to warn people...They need to be more forthcoming with this listing..

We arrived early, and they were nice to let us in early! The house was not clean, if you moved anything, there was a layer of dust and debris, so housekeepers sucked. The pool was unusable because it wasnt heated, and the hot tub was not clean. They resolved the hottub issue by sunday evening, but already lost a day. The management company was attentive. But hose neeeds work. Upstairs toilet ran the whole time, no small light in the kitchen, the one on the stove doesnt work. Fire alarm kept beeping, took it down, and the one in the hall goes off on a whim! Lol The location of the house is awesome, so close to the beach and everything you want! Bedrooms are all pretty small and the stupid beam in the living room prevents anyone sitting in that spot to watch tv! So if you have a big group like ours, plan to be outside and to go out to eat.. grills are gross and kitchen is small... no place for a big group to sit together.

Overall, it was a good space. Loved the pool. However, the kitchen lacked a lot. The smaller bedroom downstairs was entirely too small. You could not move around in it and there was no mirror. The bathroom downstairs you could barely walk in and no counter top of any size to put anything or store bath supplies, makeup,etc. There were so small bugs showing up in that bathroom as well.The size of the house is great but it does need some updating and better storage spaces. Very steep stairs going to second floor. Needs some updating and more storage in bathroom.

My family and I really enjoyed this property! There are a few things that could have been better though. The toilets in a couple of the bathrooms were broke. They moved when you would sit on them. The hot tub did not have enough water in it and there was sand and hair in it. There were not many pans to cook on or much silverware. Other than that, we loved this property and are hoping to rent again! We are also close to the beach and that was a plus!

We stayed here to celebrate our wedding reception with our family and closest friends. It was a great experience for everyone. The stairs were a doozy, but it was also easy to to up and down the porch stairs. The hot tub was a little over chlorinated and was making everyone cough, but we managed. It was clean. It was fairly hot which sucked, the dehumidifier was definitely appreciated. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Super irritated by the rental company managing the property. We paid for a property with a pool and was a mess when we got there. Call the agency, argument lady said pool only serviced twice a week…never mentioned the pool was actually shot with a broken pool pump and filter. Very disappointed and feel short handed. Their boots on the ground again were so helpful and explained the whole situation. Rather have her deal with customers than the rude person at the offices. She even helped with the WiFi, info on the booking pamphlet was wrong.
Don’t think I will be back renting through this agency.

We stayed here for 6 nights. We were a large group of 3 families with kids. Overall we had a great time. But don't let the name fool you, this is not a newly renovated home. I would classify this as a "cottage". The bathrooms run down and small. The kitchen has newer appliances but was otherwise run down. There wea very little in terms of dishes. The furniture definitely needs replacing. The living spaces are very small. That being said we spent all of our time in the backyard which was lovely. The kids enjoyed the pool and hot tub and it was so close to the beach which was beautiful. We did a lot of activities during the day and ate out most nights. So we basically used the property to sleep. Overall I would recommend this property check in/out was smooth. The pool/hot tub were cleaned mid week. It's a great location just know it is not newly renovated!

There was 13 people in our party. House was small but not a big deal as we didn’t spend much time in it. There is plenty of seating outback. When we first got there, there was bread and trash, including men’s underwear in the yard. Wet used towels by the outside showers. The hot tub was so cloudy you couldn’t see the seats. Was told someone would come out and pick up the yard and check the hot tub, no one did. It took 2 days for the fridge to get cold. They did send someone out to check it 3 times. Air conditioner went out. They did come quickly to fix it. However, it went out on Wednesday night and they sent contractors out to install new units on Thursday. It was fixed enough that they could have waited until we checked out on Friday morning. The lawn service came in the middle of the day to take care of the yard so we couldn’t use the pool. All of the doors are very squeaky. There is no trying to be quiet and let others sleep with the doors and creaky floors. Each time someone came to the house we had no parking. We had some sort of contractor at the house every day we were there. It interrupted our plans and activities. The kitchen sink has a very slow drain. I did not call about that because I was sick of people coming out to the house. The house is a very short walk to the beach and a 2 minute drive to the main road with everything you need.

Beds and bathrooms clean! Floors not clean at all, my daughters feet were filthy after just 15 minutes walking barefoot inside. Dishes and pots and pans need replaced. Some of the pans are just completely unusable. Appliances were great!! Even a cooktop to griddle pancakes! Pool and hottub needed cleaned but one phone call and they were cleaned with 2 hours😀. Being from out of town, beach chairs and or toys for the kids would have been nice to have. Even a pool game or two would have been nice. Overall a very nice stay!! So easy and close to the beach.

Our second day there, water began flowing from the upstairs bathroom, through the ceiling electrical outlet and onto the middle of the floor in the downstairs bathroom. We had to put in an emergency call to the plumber. He recommended immediate replacement of floor tiles in the upstairs bathroom and to not walk on them.(this is what allowed water to flow into the downstairs bathroom from the shower). The staircase inside is missing screws, causing the staircase to rattle as you walk up/down them (simple fix, but extremely apparent/loud as you walk up/down staircase). When booking this house a North Beach Realty associate told me that a heater was being installed in the pool as we spoke on the phone, and it would be complete prior to our arrival, but that ended up being false. The door to the large bedroom upstairs will not close at all (bedroom 4, again an easy fix, but no privacy in that room). The day we checked in the pool/hot tub had not been cleaned (hot tub was slimy and full of sand, just needed cleaning, but should have been done before our arrival).When checking out, there was no mention of the water leak by North Beach Realty staff. I brought it up and was told the owner is going to redo the whole bathroom, but that was it. No offer to compensate me in any way (refund one night maybe?? something..). Very disappointing. If staying here I recommend getting confirmation the bathrooms upstairs were both redone (tiles in both are broken). Though I highlighted problems, the stay was still enjoyable. With some improvements, the house can be really nice, but in its current state, needs a lot of work.

This property was perfect for us! The location was prime with only a short walk to the beach. The fenced in yard was secure and great for the dogs to be able to run off leash. We can't wait to come back in the summer to enjoy the pool!

This was our third time staying here. We love being close to the beach and the nice pool with enclosed backyard for our dog. This house has a lot of amenities. We had a problem with the upstairs air conditioner which management took care of quickly. We also were here when Ian went through and were impressed that management had a crew out first thing the next day cleaning up the debris and the pool, allowing us to enjoy our last day by the pool. My one complaint was that the hot tub was not clean our entire visit so we were unable to use it. A number of improvements had been made (like a new fridge) since our last visit which we appreciated. However, the screeching fan in the upstairs bedroom is still there, would like to see that replaced.

This property is fantastic for hosting a large group of people! Several different bedrooms with different-sized beds allowing for different couples and individuals to have their own private space. Our only complaint was the definite moisture in the air, which left a very musky smell when we first walked in. However, we provided an air freshener that helped mask the smell for the most part! Other than that, we were delighted with all the cooking utensils and towels, and other various necessities.

We were definitely deceived by the false reviews. Although we had an amazing time with our family, beautiful weather, and you can’t beat the short walk to the beach and close proximity to restaurants, bars, and activities, the listing is not as it seems, unfortunately.
The living space is so cramped, downright unlivable for the advertised 17 guests. The large kitchen table, with only 6 chairs, takes up the majority of the living area. The kitchen is tight with not the proper utensils and cooking equipment. Plus another bar-height table right in the middle of it, taking up more space than being useful. The property didn’t even have a colander and only one baking pan.
The rooms are tight but functional, however the bathrooms were dingy, smelled of smoke and mold, with cracked ceilings and corners everywhere.
But you can’t beat the location. Less than a 5 minute walk to the beach (but no view of the ocean). Plenty of parking, loads of outdoor space with a large pool and functioning hot tub, and plenty of seating. At least by the pool. The property has two large wrap around porches with no seating or tables except narrow, dingy, broken, bench seating. The amount of space outdoors with hardly anywhere to sit (except at the pool) was mind boggling.
Im not bashing this property. We made it work. But we’re very disappointed when we first walked in to realize it was not like the reviews or the description of the property. We will not stay there again but didn’t have an amazing family beach week in North Myrtle.

We enjoyed our stay. I do have a small complaint about the realty office. We had a broken chair (no big deal) but they said they would take it away, they never did. A big deal was the hot water stopped working inside and they said they would come out to fix it, but they never did. We had to take cold showers and wash dishes in cold water for the last 3 days of our stay. We were disappointed with the lack of customer service.

An average (small common area)place with great location
The outside area; decks yard, pool and hot tub were great. Great for our fur baby However, we had issues with hot water throughout the week along with 4 of the 7 tv’s in the house not working. Fuses tended to flip off every day. We never saw anyone come to care for the pool the entire week and because of daily storms needed a good cleaning oust side of what we could do.
This rental has had some bug issues…while I understand we are near water and it’s a bit of an older home, it just needed a bit more attention to it.
The location was wonderful and that probably saves us from scraping this house totally in the future.

Nice beach house. We had a great time. The hot tub wasn’t working which was disappointing considering the weather was pretty cool. Also, the fridge has no ice maker or ice trays so bring ice. The house needed a good deep clean but overall was perfect for our group. The host was good at communicating and credited us for the hot tub. Not sure if I’d rent here again though
