After a 2 year hiatus from VRBO, our property and English Bulldogs are back! We de-listed the property because the city was installing sewer and water lines on and around our property--not conducive to R&R! Now, all quiet on the home front. My wife and I came to Boerne, San Antonio and Fredericksburg for a short getaway and used this as our “home base” for our stay. The property is immaculate and Frank & Suzanne were wonderful - very responsive to messages and very friendly! The dogs were a hoot and we enjoyed fresh eggs from the chickens on the property for breakfast. This is a wonderful property which is in a great location right off of I-10. It is very convenient to downtown Boerne and a short drive to Fredericksburg. The kitchen had everything we needed, the bed was very comfortable, and there were ample bed and bath linens. Frank & Suzanne made sure anything we needed was there when we arrived, and they are on-site in case you have any questions. Don’t hesitate to book this property. It is a gem!

Frank & Suzanne are exceptional hosts. They were welcoming and quick to communicate. Their place was clean, comfortable, and convenient. Their dogs were friendly and we loved the chickens wandering about.

Everything about our stay at this property was GREAT! Frank and Suzanne are wonderful hosts. I reached out to Suzanne a few times prior to our trip with various questions and she was always very prompt with her replies. Check-in was a breeze; the apartment is very clean, beautifully furnished and fully stocked with all the necessities. We enjoyed the pool each day of our visit and the water was perfect. This is definitely the nicest place we've stayed and we can't wait to stay here again!

Property owners were very accommodating and the location was perfect for visiting Boerne, Hill Country and San Antonio. Owners took all precautions related to COVID and were so friendly. Will certainly stay here again, when visiting the beautiful Hill Country/San Antonio area!

Suzanne and Frank have created an outstanding rental with fully equipped kitchen ( we ate all our meals in) and a spa bath with huge walk in shower. Washer and dryer came in handy after pool time and we enjoyed many hours lounging by the pool and hot tub. The dogs are friendly and even joined my workout outside. Great getaway out in nature and plan to revisit post Covid19 outbreak to check out the sights and shops in Bourne.

So glad our first choice fell through - this place was perfect for our girls getaway. Owners are great and the location was very convenient. We enjoyed the country atmosphere and the chickens. Pool and hot tub were a plus. The guest suite was extremely well stocked and beautifully furnished- we had everything we needed. Spacious and clean and comfortable. Highly recommend!

We were so lucky to book this stay at the last minute, literally! The property was amazing and the owners were so accommodating. If we ever need a vacation spot in this area, we will definitely come back here. With the spacious apartment, hot tub, swimming pool and minutes away from shopping... it was a was a much needed, relaxing weekend. Highly recommended!!!!

The two bedroom suite we occupied was comfortable and well appointed. The kitchen had several stock items so we did not have to get those irritating basics, and we were ready upon arrival without having to do initial errands. The friendly and thoughtful hosts, when they heard we were going to cook a meal, asked if there was anything they could provide that we may be missing.

We had a lovely time staying at this property. The owner was very welcoming and showed us around. It was ideal for our 3 day visit to Boerne. Lovely country feel to the place with the chickens and dogs to meet us too. Close to Boerne . It was well equipped and I can highly recommend it.

My husband and I had a lovely time in a beautiful location with welcoming and gracious hosts. It was an easy drive into San Antonio as well as very short drive into historic Boerne. And as much as we enjoyed our outings to each, I can easily see ourselves content to just stay in, read on the patio, relax in the pool or play with their oh so personable dogs. Highly recommended!

Wonderful and private!

We had a delightful 3-night stay at Frank & Suzanne's place. The apartment is beautifully furnished and the artwork makes you feel like you are in a museum. The kitchen was fully outfitted with anything that you would need for cooking (but who wants to!), including some basic condiments that were kept on hand. The bulldogs are hysterical but spend most of their day inside. Bella was nice enough to join us on the raft in the pool which made for great pictures. We plan to return. Shhhh--it's our secret.
