About this chalet rental
Mt Washington Valley is renown for hiking in the White Mountains National Park, fly fishing, climbing, canoeing, mountain biking, swimming, golf, outdoor adventure parks, skiing and outlet shopping. Attractions within walking distance (3/4 mile) are Story Land .
The Chalet has 3 bedrooms on the lower level that sleep 6 total with two queen bedrooms and one bunk-room. There is a full bath with shower on the lower level.
The upper level features a huge common living area and kitchen. Kitchen is well stocked with everything you would need, serving dishes, pans, baking goods, oils, spices, tea and coffee
South facing sliding doors open up to a 9'x20' deck next to a mountain brook.
At the entry level there is a half bath and laundry center
Amenities include Cable TV, and WIFI. All towels and linens provided.

Property was exactly as described and a good fit for our family (2 adults and 2 children). Bob was communicative and provided all the necessary information for a seamless check-in experience. We planned a last minute visit to the White Mountains for the 4th of July to see friends and found this place available. The home was clean and comfy and Bob was great a communicating what needed to be done. The location was very convenient for us as it is only about 30 minutes from Gorham, where are friends are, close to hikes for good weather, and 15 minutes from North Conway which has plenty of restaurants and rainy day activities. The house is in a pretty private area and it was quiet and comfortable. I would definitely rent again.

Fantastic location convenient to Jackson, Bartlett and North Conway. A stone's throw from Storyland. Very clean. Kitchen well stocked. White linens, towels and dishes were top quality. Washer & drier in the home. New deck made outdoor dining terrific. Like being up in the trees, very quiet and serene. Plenty of parking off street. Bob was a pleasure to liaise with to the rent the home for a week; very responsive and helpful. The tiki toss game in the living room was a huge hit! We bought one after we returned home. Highly recommend this property.

The property is exactly as described, and Bob was very quick to answer any questions. As advertised, there is no a.c. Normally this would be fine, but we happened to be there during a rare heat wave in August. Also, the lovely brook next to the house was low on water bc of less rain than usual, so we didn’t get to hear it flowing. These issues were all due to unusual weather, nothing to fault the home owner. The only real issue we had was not knowing where to put our garbage. Again, Bob was quick to respond, and took care of the issue for us. The house is close to many trails and streams, which we enjoyed immensely. Also, the Cog Railway was fairly close, and we enjoyed that as well. Anyone with young children will be happy that StoryLand is five minutes down the road. We didn’t go (our children are teens), but it looked popular every time we drive by. I would recommend this home.

We had a wonderful stay at this property last week. It was spotlessly clean and so beautiful and comfortable. The house has been decorated and organized with care. It was just the right size for our family, and there were spaces for all of us to relax and to stow everything (many shoes and jackets and water carriers and day packs and swim towels ...) that we brought for every activity. The kitchen is well equipped, and I was never lacking for any utensil or pot to make meals for us. Though this is a neighborhood, Bob's house feels very private with many trees between us and the neighboring houses. The deck is a lovely spot for eating or relaxing.
The location is perfect - a short drive to North Conway, Mount Washington, Diana's Baths, and lots of hiking trails. There is a little grocery store just a mile or so away that is well stocked with anything you might need.
Bob is very friendly and gets an A+ for communication. He responded quickly to all of my questions leading up to and during the trip and was very helpful when I asked about specific activities in the area.
We hope to be back some day and highly recommend staying at this property to enjoy the White Mountains!

We had a great vacation in this rental. We stayed with our two kids, 4 and 6, and a set of grandparents. The place was very clean, and kitchen well stocked - and seeing a bear down the street was a big hit.
The location was great for what we wanted to do with the kids - we hiked up to Cathedral Ledge and Cave Mountain, hung out in Diana's Baths and Jackson Falls, swam in Echo Lake - and of course, spent a day in Story Land.

We used the house this summer to take our soon to be 4 year old to storyland. The location was awesome for this and the house was cute and homey. Very clean and had everything we needed!

Very comfortable, convenient
This was perfect for two small families to enjoy a long weekend together! Kids loved the bunk beds and proximity to Storyland. Tucked away in the woods it is nice and quiet. The kitchen had everything we needed and the toys and games were A++. Bob was easy to communicate with and very responsive. Definitely would come again!

Peaceful, comfortable and private chalet
My husband and I rented this home for the weekend. It was perfect. The home was very clean and comfortable. We enjoyed sitting on the deck and listening to nature. The home is surrounded by trees and has a running brook near it. We went hiking one of the many trails around and shopping in North Conway. Both places were near by. Good restaurants too! Great location for visiting the North Conway area
The property met our needs for a long weekend visiting storyland and echo lake with two small kids. Very convenient to the local stores and restaurants. We enjoyed hanging out in the open concept living space and listening to the babbling brook at night. The property was clean and comfortable, and we would definitely stay here again. Thank you Bob!

We had a great stay. Bob was an excellent host and very communicative before and during the stay. The house was impeccably clean and very welcoming to a family with kids! (The legos were a hit!) My family had the best time staying here. Everything was very functional, comfortable, and well thought-out. We loved the large living area and big deck looking out into the trees. Lovely quiet cottage
We had a wonderful stay in the white mountains. The kitchen was very well equipped. Good WIFI and TV. The location is quiet and private. It's close to shopping, Mount Washington, ski areas, etc. The only snag was a slight mustiness in the downstairs bedroom. Bob said the cleaner will take care of it next time. We would stay here again.

Quiet, beautiful and convenient!
The chalet is surrounded by trees so it's very quiet and private. There is a grocery store nearby and it's close to many hiking trails. The chalet also has a deck where you can just chill out after a long hike! Bob is very nice and accommodating. We enjoyed our stay a lot!

This is a wonderful mountain getaway. The house is so pretty and the location is very quiet. We heard the call of the train and the call of an owl. The property was close to all the places we wanted to visit. Could not have asked for a better place to stay for our vacation.

Swiss chalet getaway
This swiss chalet country style home was perfect for the 4 of us. It was clean and well-supplied. We had all the utensils we needed for cooking in a spacious kitchen. The bedrooms were adequate and cool, as they were in the basement. We enjoyed eating out on the porch surrounded by trees.

The Perfect Spot
The Chalet in Glen worked out perfectly for my two sisters and I who were trying to travel together safely and visit another sister in Glen, while still being able to socially distance. The deck was a great spot to sit together, yet still at a distance, and enjoy some food, drinks, conversation, and the sound of the small mountain brook below. The house was very clean, well equipped, and large enough for the three of us. In normal times, traveling with a larger group would also work well here. A great location, which was quiet and private, but close to attractions, food, etc. Would be happy to return if we can!

Great for family
Bob was a great host, who got my family in for a very last minute next day check in request. Our planned vaca got cancelled last minute and it was great to find such a nice place last minute. He was very helpful and fast to respond all around. The house was easy to find. Inside, the house is very open, clean and comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked. We enjoyed hanging out on the deck and grilling and then watching movies at night. It would definitely be a great home base for exploring the area. Rooms were comfortable- no complaints!

Property is perfect. In a quiet neighborhood, with a mountain brook rumbling behind. Open concept is perfect for family to hang out together, bedrooms downstairs perfect when separation is needed. Grill and full kitchen worked out perfectly for us so we could save money and social distance. Overall a great family rental!

Great Place for a weekend getaway!
The place was great! very close to nearby cities for good food and also many hiking trails around. Owner was very easy to contact. Place is clean with all the essential supplies and an outdoor deck. Also very close to the Conway railroad if you have planned a fall trainride. Would highly recommend!

Great spot for quiet, or Storyland
We wanted a "not hotel" place to stay for our weekend storyland trip, and this was perfect. The kitchen was well-equipped for having breakfast and any other meals, the upstairs living space had room for all of us without ever feeling too crowded, the location was quiet... and we were ~5 minutes to Storyland.

Great overall house
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this house. It was very clean and perfect size for our "party of 5". It is perfect for 6, especially if there are 2 kids as there is a bunk bed room. BRs are downstairs and the open living area is upstairs so it is separated for kids' earlier bedtimes. Owner was also very communicative. Thanks for the stay!
