Highest recommendation for this property for its comfort, thoughtfulness for every detail, location and host. Kitchen has every convenience and all of the basic necessities. Beds are comfy and bedrooms are large, with great light and quiet. House is steps away from all of the fine Lewisburg restaurants. Cannot miss with this vacation rental.

My adult children, my husband and I stayed at this lovely place. If you don’t mind a little hill, the walk to and from the little downtown is perfect. The house was super clean. Beds were comfy. We loved how it was decorated with a barn industrial but with style. The manager was very communicative, would totally stay here again. My 23 year old daughter even said should live there. Be sure to check out the Humble Tomato restaurant. That ended up being our favorite!

Stone’s Throw is a wonderful bungalow stay and Lewisburg is a very special town to experience. Stores and restaurants are charming and the people are warm and welcoming. This holiday we created beautiful memories taking a horse-drawn carriage ride through downtown twinkling holiday lights.

This bungalow near downtown Lewisburg was cute, and offered all of the basic amenities one might need for a long weekend. I will say that it was a bit overpriced. We stayed 3 nights and spent just over $700.

Everything you need for a relaxing get away. Sundays are a little dead but the World Caverns are open and the Greenbrier provides a wonderful lunch in the Draper cafe. Fun town to experience.... Lewisburg.

We absolutely love Lewisburg, and this cottage is our new favorite place to stay, so I'm torn about leaving this review and the word getting out to everyone about this wonderful property. ;)
The cottage is very well decorated with Architectural Digest vibes - but in the best and coziest way possIble. We loved the way the quiet cottage was located just off Washington Street and private, but walkable to all the shops and restaurants in downtown.
David was very helpful with his directions and tips for our stay, and was the perfect host - we’ll definitely look forward to booking again soon!

Although the temperatures were frigid, we were snug and comfortable at Stones Throw. This was our second stay and it has become a favorite. We love the town of Lewisburg and enjoyed shopping in the nearby shops. So convenient to eateries and the people are warm and welcoming. Found an adorable country diner in White Sulphuric (Cook’s Country Kitchen) for a hearty winter breakfast. We are certain to return and tell our friends.

The bungalow is gorgeous! Beautifully decorated and in the perfect location. We walked into town, visited all the shops, bakeries, and restaurants. This bungalow is so romantic and was a perfect getaway. Also, it’s close to a larger town that has a grocery store and other restaurants. We only stopped there for groceries. Highly recommend eating at Stardust’s and the Corn + Flour. Delicious. The Stardust has some of the best food and ambiance. We will be visiting Lewisburg again.

The bungalow is immaculate and charming! Within walking distance to everything downtown and close to hiking and other outdoor activities, it is also perfectly located. David checked in proactively during my stay to make sure everything was in order.
This spot is a gem, and I will stay here again.

Our second time staying at the Stones Throw Retreat, and we will be back! Excellent location, walkable to downtown shops snd restaurants, and still a feeling of privacy tucked back off the road. Very well appointed home with comfortable beds (and soft sheets), gas fireplace, porch swing, and fire pit. The house was very clean and check-in and communication with the host was easy. Also appreciated the list of local things to do and favorite restaurants.

The decor is welcoming and comfortable! Well worth checking out!

My friend and I met in Lewisburg for a girls weekend and loved staying at this property. I am very particular about rentals and this property exceeded my expectations. It was immaculately clean, high ceilings, easy to access, with ample parking. It’s a very short walk into the down town, but the house itself is in a quiet location. We enjoyed the restaurants and shopping, and had a wonderful weekend. I would absolutely stay
here again!
