I have vacationed in Port Clyde since I was an infant and I love sharing my happy place with my grandchildren...they have all fallen in love with this delightful fishing village and are always asking when they can go back!!

My daughter and I literally cried because we had to leave. We extended our already booked 2 week stay to 3. I knew when we arrived we’d want more time there.
Veronika is on her game.
They provide all that you need for your stay including linens, toilet paper, paper towels, soaps and kitchen items.
The kitchen decor brought back so many childhood memories.
The house is situated on a gorgeous inlet. Herons, and eagles were frequently spotted there.
There’s a walkable beach where every day a herd of seals feed and play.
You can watch the active harbor with the lobstermen coming and going and appreciate the long hours they put in.
Amazing all around.

Peaceful and exactly what we were looking for.

We had an absolutely amazing time stargazing, beach-going, and lobster-eating.
The cottage is charming and very well-appointed. It is quintessential Mid-Coast Maine. Perfect!
We will rent this cozy home again.

Great location for a stay in Port Clyde with our family. Walking distance to town and the views from the property are fantastic. We had everything we needed at the property and then some. We will be staying here again!

The views from this spot are breathtaking, it never gets old. The home was comfortable and appreciated the supplies on hand; soaps, seasonings, paper towels etc. helps to eliminate too much to pack. The neighborhood is quiet and a great place to walk and close to downtown port Clyde. We appreciated the excellent communication with the property manager as well.

This is our third time staying in Port Clyde. It's a small quaint, peaceful community. I love walking to the general store and taking in the beautiful views. The rental was super cute and had all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay while still having a vintage, old fashioned decorative items from days past.

A wonderful week
We stayed at the Gardenwalk Crest property - last minute change proposed by Veronika because of a problem at the Sea Sparkle property. We loved the location of this house, right in front of the fishing harbor of Port Clyde. Views from the deck and from inside the house, as well, are wonderful. The house is very comfortable, with everything that you need. Veronika is very efficient and available, we got all informations very easily.

5 stars because I couldn't give it 10!
This house was amazing! It was very clean and cozy! The only complaint I have is I wish the master bed/bath was a little more private!

Veronica was incredibly helpful. Super clean house and no issues what so ever with two computers running zoom all day.

Maine Relaxation
Quaint small house with a gorgeous master bedroom (and comfortable bed). Second bedroom is small but adequate. House was immaculate. Beyond anything else is the view of the Bay - just beautiful. The only improvement I think important is to put a shade on the kitchen window like the one in the bedroom. It is so bright in that room I wore sunglasses while making dinner. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will return.

Another great stay
We have often stayed here and love it. Home is beautifully appointed with decor and appliances. Gorgeous flower boxes and manicured lawn. First class and that’s why we keep coming back. Veronica, the manager, is very helpful and attentive.

Sparkling near the sea
We had a delightful week here. The house is well equipped, the road is quiet and we didn’t turn on the TV once, because the views are great!

Horse Point House
The house is unique, well-kept, and clean and the location is beautiful. However, it was not clear to us going into it that the second bedroom and bathroom, which are on the second floor, are completely open without any doors. Depending on which four people are staying there together, it could be uncomfortable. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

Very nice property. Liked location and amenities.
Only thing missing is a nice outdoor covered space that can be accessed directly from the house. The front deck has no cover (gets direct sun most of the day) and is difficult to access (you must walk around the side of the house to access the deck) . A door could replace one of the windows and a covered deck could replace the existing deck which offers no shade and cover for a rainy day. The views from the deck are spectacular. These changes would make the property much more desirable. With that said, we loved our stay and would certainly consider staying in future. Denny Meacham

It was outstanding.
It is nicely appointed, very clean and neat, a great location and very comfortable. If only we had nicer weather. Second time renting and we will be back next summer.

Wonderful Week in Port Clyde
We had a wonderful week in Port Clyde at Sea Sparkle Cottage. This was our second time staying at this cottage and the fun 50's seaside feel of the cottage was as crazy as ever. Everyone went the extra mile to assure our stay was perfect. The cottage was clean as a whistle, as usual, and everything we needed was well at hand. We stay at one of the "Perfect Maine" cottages every summer, depending on the number of bedrooms we need. And we come back every year for a reason. I'd mention the manager by name for a special thank you, but VRBO won't let me use any names! You know who you are! Thank you so much again!

Comfortable house. Great Location.
Sea Sparkle served as home base during a week of hiking and sightseeing. The house was well stocked and in great condition. The location is very peaceful (roads in great condition for running). The kitchen table served as an early morning gathering place to drink coffee and watch the boats head out while planning activities for the day - a great, relaxing view! It's an easy walk to the Port Clyde General Store (including diner) for breakfast when cooking breakfast requires too much effort. Catch the early ferry in Port Clyde to Monhegan to hike the island's perimeter - the views will stop you in your tracks! It's a relaxing drive up 73 to Rockport, Camden and beyond. Camden Hills State Park has a huge selection of trails for all levels of hiking abilities and days can easily be spent trying to hike as many as possible. If weather is an issue, the Farnsworth Art Museum in Rockland is definitely worth the trip. Another cool point of interest is the Fort Knox and Penobscot Narrows Observatory (panoramic views!) as well as Fort Knox itself (Prospect ME) - hours flew by while exploring the recesses of the Fort - awesome!

great house, great week
we stayed here August of 2013 - house was in PERFECT condition! - walking distance to "Town" of Port Clyde (village?) - Peace and quiet, sea breezes, ocean view(harbor) easy drives to lots of other neat coast-line attractions or even a little larger town if desired.
Great Week!
