Six girlfriends for a long weekend. We had the upstairs and downstairs, perfect for sleeping arrangements. Enjoyed the back patio every morning for coffee and evenings for drinks. The garden area could use some trimming and sprucing up but weather was too nice to stay inside. Definitely a winner for a larger group.

Reviewer Comments:
The home was in a nice area, and spacious. The basement space worked well for my daughter and her 2 small children. It was quite a walk into town, but very close to Forsyth park. However, the downstairs shower had mold or dirt on the shower head. The garden space was nice but the seat cushions were worn and had tears in the fabric. The grill was in pretty bad shape so we decided not to use it. I am not sure if we would recommend this property-it would depend on the guest, and their preferences.

Close to everything!5 min drive to skate park, Forsyth park was only a couple of min walk, nice little courtyard and easy to get to! Beds we're comfortable and acceptably clean! Reviewer Comments:
The property is in a great location, just a short stroll to most local attractions. But at this price point, one expects top-notch accommodations. There were large paint chips falling off the ceiling above the shower, like you'd find in an abandoned building. No romance in that, and concerning for those with kids needing a bath. The door locks required 4 different codes, and didn't always function properly, leaving us locked out on several occasions. The multiple renters of the adjacent property experienced the same issues, as we often came to their rescue. The rear gate needs to be replaced. It opens about 18 inches before scraping to a stop, leaving us unable to fit our standard sized stroller through. So every time we had to lift and pull the old weathered wood door as it shrieked across the pavement. We were told by a member of the management team that the owners have been advised to replace it, and have thus far declined. The alternate entrance requires a padlock and isn't suitable as a stroller entrance due to steps.Worst of all though, the WIFI did not function. The repairman came on 5 different occasions to attempt to fix it, and acknowledged that the signal was not strong or consistent enough to keep it running smoothly. So for three weeks, we had no streaming ability on the television, and a slow wonky connection for our laptop. Of course we were told it worked fine after we left, but I was there as it was being worked on. I saw what I saw. So if reliable 'connectivity' is important to you, look elsewhere. The management company did refund a measly one 1/2 of one day's rent, with the owners declining to refund anything. We are fair people, but our complaints were legitimate, and they were either unresolved, or not addressed. Hopefully the owners address these obvious issues at some point because the place has potential.
