We LOVED our stay at The Drey! The cottage was so clean and new. The bed was comfy, kitchen was well stocked, and the laundry on site saved the day. Everything we needed and more was there for us. The location was 2 blocks away from family, so it was perfect. We always had parking at The Drey, which was so appreciated as parking in the city was a challenge. The stairs were well lit and do-able. The cottage was exceptional, so we'll be back!

From the very beginning our host, Karleen, was warm and welcoming. Her correspondences were friendly and so helpful, too. My husband and I were quite impressed with our “home away from home” while in Seattle. The Drey was so clean and comfortable…and so cute! It had everything that we could possibly have needed for our stay. Since our daughter is now living in Seattle, we will be coming on a regular basis and will definitely choose The Drey for next visit. Five stars all the way!

The bathroom being on first floor with bedrooms on second was less than ideal. Difficult to use television.
Bedroom and kitchen very nice. Location excellent and no problem parking.

Really excellent property and the hosts were communicative but unobtrusive. I felt safe and it was quiet while at the same time being ideally located for activities throughout Seattle— would highly recommend if you come in town for a woodland park zoo show as it’s a piece of cake to walk to the entrance even carrying chairs and blankets.

Ny husband and I were in Seattle from Maui for about 36 hours total for a concert, and this location was perfect - easy to get to and from the airport, close to the spots we wanted to make sure we hit before the show.
We used Uber to get around just because it was easier with such a short amount of time there. It was a little pricey at peak times, so depending on where you plan to go and how long you’re there, renting a car may be a better option (if rates aren’t ridiculous!).
Karleen was super responsive and helpful (we can’t read instructions well, apparently, and couldn’t figure out the door lock, haha, and she ran out to help us!).
We definitely want to return to spend more time in the area, and would book here again in a heartbeat.

Rental was clean and stylish. Hosts were thoughtful, considerate and warm people. We had a small key/lock issue and they were on it in a snap. And, oh, there is no ridiculously lengthy "chore" lists for vacation renters to perform. Friendly hosts and a sweet space to stay. Check and check.

Loved staying here! The unit is newly remodeled/built, so everything is nice and clean. We came during a colder time, but the insulation on the main floor is really solid, and has a heater that kept us warm the entire time. Amenities were great, and our host was super communicative and helpful. Definitely will be looking for this listing again when I come back to Seattle, thank you so much!

This is a great little cottage in a fun area of Seattle. Close to funky Fremont and hopping Phinney Ridge, and a relatively short walk down to Green Lake. Highly recommend! Thanks, Karleen, for making our stay so comfortable!

The communication with the property owner was excellent. They were very accommodating and inviting. The apartment was very well maintained and comfortable. The kitchen had absolute everything we needed, including a toaster! Towels, toilet paper, soap, everything was back stocked and available should we need it. We were very happy with our stay. I highly recommend the apartment and hosts.

A++ Karleen was a great host and the location was perfect!
The location was perfect for being far enough away from the hustle and bustle of the city but close to what we needed. We walked to several restaurants, breweries and a grocery store. The place was clean and had everything we needed
The host, Karleen was able to meet us at the door and provided so many great recommendations for our visit. We are planning to stay here again next time we visit Seattle!!

Great stay!
We loved our stay at Phinney Ridge! Karleen was extremely helpful and easy to reach. The house was spotless, and also very conveniently nearby to a ton of restaurants and other food options. We also found it pretty easy to walk to the nearby bus stop and use the public transit. We would highly recommend staying there if you’re in the Seattle area!

This is a sweet spot! Conveniently located and walkable to several coffee shops, restaurants and the beautiful Woodland Park Rose Garden. Extremely clean and private with a fully stocked kitchen. I enjoyed my stay very much, Karleen and her family were more then welcoming and offered several recommendations for local haunts in the area. A restful and productive work trip, I’ll definitely be staying again. Thank you!

Lovely Weekend in Seattle
This property was everything it appeared to be on-line - beautiful materials, clean, well stocked, lovely book selection, and a kitchen space big enough for two cooks. We would stay there again on a heart beat.

Clean and comfortable
The Drey was a clean comfortable retreat for our stay in Seattle. The tree top feel was enhanced with our views out of every window. A bit inconvenient, the bathroom was on the ground floor with the living space up stairs. However the stairs were very well illuminated with subtle lighting. The kitchen held everything we needed.

Great location! Cozy nest!
Definitely cozy - perfect for one or two. I would stay here again - I’m a solo traveler looking for a safe, quiet neighborhood property with easy access to downtown Seattle and the University district. Property was newly renovated and was spotless. Bed was very comfy. Well-stocked towels, soap, kitchen, etc. You could show up and not worry about having to grab a box of tissues or laundry soap. Owners were great. Easy to communicate with. Three tiny things that may matter to some - the private bathroom is down a flight of stairs from the living space. Bedroom is small, so if you’re a tall/large person it might be a tight squeeze for two in there. And, the neighbors next door have chickens who wake up early. Other than those small oddities, this place is a gem!
