Vacation Rental. Book now! Fully furnished including utencils, linens, etc... 2 bedrooms. Bedroom 1 queen bed, Bedroom 2 Queen bed+ Bunk bed, 2 futons in living room. Washer/dryer, nice sized full kitchen. Nice screened in porch and deck to cook out and sit and enjoy the tree lined creek extension to the river. Listen to the creek run and relax! Our stay was over the 4th of July. Everything you need is right there. The dam and overlook park. Also the Guadalupe rivers coldest spot. Dam red barn for some local entertainment. Float river and/or lake, hike the Guadalupe trail, visit the Gorge, kayaking, biking in the neighborhood was very fun. We brought our dog and had a great time walking him in the quiet neighborhood. Air conditioning was exceptional! Screened in porch overlooking a beautiful creek with a small dam. Awesome!

Ill start with the good first, it is very quite, and spacious and had most of the amenities we needed. Also Aunte D's restaurant down The road is absolutely amazing. BUT The photos and description need to be updated to what it actually is. The house is in a "neighborhood" not by the lake or river. Both are 20 minutes away. The "waterfall' is actually a stream of water inbetween overgrowth. There is cameras around the property so you feel your being watched. The beds are absolutely horribly uncomfortable. There is NO water pressure in the bathrooms or kitchen. Only 3 burners on the stove worked, the light/fan in the kichem didnt work. The A/C in the living room leaked so we had to keep towels on the floor to prevent a puddle. All the closets were full so we couldnt use them. And the kitchen table was for 4 people not a large goup of 10. Over all this home is set up as a man cave not a family.

Home is very cozy. I understand one can’t control the water level of the lake. However, I was very disappointed on just how low it is. It must be this low for a long time as the water is stagnant and the foliage is grown up around the small damn. I would stay here again due to the openness of the home.

We absolutely loved the backyard. We made campfires, made smores, listened to the water flowing in the river and the birds chirping! It was such a lovely weekend. The beds in the second bedroom were not very comfortable, but besides that our stay was amazing! We drove over to US Army Corps of Engineers Canyon Lake and Dam, which was just 5-10 mins away. The view of the dam was beautiful! The home was only about 8 mins from a grocery store, which was very convenient!

This was the perfect valued home for being close to both the Guadalupe river and Canyon Lake. If you're lucky to have enough rain then you'll really enjoy the back porch! This house was great for kids with plenty of space to play.

The house was very clean with everything we needed to stay comfortable. If I had any questions, Phil responded immediately with answers. We are already making plans to come back next year! This was our third time to stay here, and it’s been the perfect place for our friend group. Prime location for nearby river floating, plenty of room for all to sleep, great backyard/porch area for activities, and a convenient Dollar General nearby in case you forget/need anything. Would recommend staying here and will likely be back next year.

We absolutely love this place, close to canyon lake and we love the little stream in back, plenty of games around house to play.. we have now stayed here 2 times and definitely be coming back at least twice every summer. Also the bed are awesome just sink in lol. Phil is totally awesome and we appreciate home for offering this place

This house is located near both the Guadalupe River and Canyon Lake. Its outdoor living area is ample and accommodating to large and small groups. We really enjoyed being outside the home and watching the deer eat and listening to wildlife. We loved how close the home was to both Guadalupe River and Canyon Lake. There is plenty of space for large groups or families.

My family and I enjoyed renting the place. It was very comfortable and homely. Enjoyed the back screened porch and the back yard in the evenings. It was conveniently located near stores, gas stations, eating places, and the river. We plan on renting the place again soon.

Was very impressed with location being so close to Mom/Pop restaurants. The creek out back was peaceful to make s’mores at night with the large pit area. There’s a lot on both sides of Phil’s Cabin that gave us our little peace and quiet. Fun to walk the block and see deer walking around so peacefully. Overall everyone enjoyed our stay. Check the cabinets before you shop at Brookshire Brothers. Lots of necessities like coffee filters, trash bags, sugar, etc left from others if you choose to use. We are looking forward to coming back.

We had a nice, relaxing time at Phil’s Cabin, it was the perfect place for us and our pups to stay for a long weekend. It is completely stocked with everything we needed as well as a grill out front with table to sit and watch the bbq chef. Nice tile floors throughout for easy cleanup if the pups slobbered while eating their dinner, and a fenced in area for the pups to run around in. The giant Jenga was a plus and was hours of fun on the screened in patio! Only an hours drive, an incredibly beautiful drive, to Luckenbach. Phil was great and responded immediately if we had questions on anything. We will definitely be back and recommend it to everyone.

The house was a perfect place to spend time with friends, all the appliances are pretty up to date and we loved the bunk beds. My favorite thing to do there was sitting on the porch outside and drinking my coffee as I listened to the sound of the creek.
