About this house rental
Casa Gina Costa Rica is a private, romantic and secure home on a 1 1/2-acre jungle lot, located within the gated community of Rancho Manuel Antonio. Just minutes by bus or car to Quepos or the national park, our two bedroom, two bath fully air conditioned home was designed from the start to provide you with a peaceful and rejuvenating experience.
A beautiful private pool with sandstone deck and private palapa with wet bar is the perfect place to spend your day. Double teak doors greet you from the main entrance and continue in each of the rooms. The home is furnished with high end custom made Guanacaste furniture, a dark and luscious wood that is the national tree of Costa Rica.
We brought the outside in: The main living area features a twelve foot ceiling decorated with teak and comfortable seating for eight. Whole house A/C units will keep everything cool and dry. Six sliders open into the pool area and main deck from the living area to form one large room, opening the home to the outside rain forest. Abundant recessed dimmer controlled lighting throughout the home provide a soft comfortable glow for entertaining or relaxing.
A comfortable place to spend your day is on one of Casa Gina's four decks. Many birds including toucans, three types of monkeys, sloths, iguanas and the majestic Blue Morpho butterfly call this area home. A gas grille is the perfect way to cook all of the fresh fish, chicken and vegetables that are available from the farmers market in town.
Our kitchen is tastefully designed with teak cabinets, granite counter-tops and quality stainless steel appliances. All expected small appliances are provided including an ice maker. A very complete set of utensils, pots and pans will make creating your own meals a delight. A breakfast island and wet bar for four invite you to linger and share a laugh or two with friends. The Guanacaste wood dining table has seating for four.
Both bedrooms feature king sized beds and quality bedding. Store your personal belongings in the beautiful matching armoires and nightstands. A remote controlled, A/C unit plus ceiling fans assure a comfortable nights rest. Individual private covered decks with large sliders bring the outside in and give you a quiet place to sit and read or to enjoy the sounds and sights of the rain forest. Each of the two full baths are finished with sandstone floors and shower enclosures. Teak counters, vessel sinks, rainfall shower heads and mood lighting complete the rooms.
Enjoy the quiet privacy of Casa Gina or immerse yourself in the warm friendly culture that is Costa Rica. Casa Gina is located five minutes from the town of Quepos and seven minutes from the beautiful white sand beaches of Manuel Antonio National Park. There are dozens of restaurants ranging from typical Costa Rican "sodas" to gourmet dining within minutes of the home.

Amazing property! Casa Gina was everything we had hoped! The kids loved the pool, and the adults loved relaxing in the rocking chairs with the view of the jungle. We saw a lot of wildlife from the pool deck. The place was well stocked with necessities and Carlos was very welcoming and responsive, helped to organize tours and transportation for us. We hope to return someday to stay again!

We had the best stay at Casa Gina. So relaxing to just float in the pool and enjoy the sun. The house was well appointed and had everything we needed. We cooked in most nights and sat on the porch and watched the rains in the evening. It felt so remote, yet we were just a short ride to town for restaurants and such. I would highly recommend. Carlos was a wonderful host. Thanks for sharing your piece of Costs Rica with us. Pura Vida!!

Casa Gina is one of the best vacation rentals we have ever stayed in! 10/10!
The house had everything we needed. The kitchen is FULLY stocked, and we cooked multiple meals in the house during our stay. We loved the pool, it was perfect to cool off during the afternoons, our kids especially loved it and looked forward to it every day! Carlos was awesome and booked all of our excursions! We saw monkeys, macaws, and so many iguana’s from the backyard.
I highly recommend this house and I hope we make it back someday! Pura Vida!

If you are looking for the perfect vacation house in Manuel Antonio-look no further than Casa Gina!! Close to the ocean, restaurants and activities, Casa Gina has it all and more! After a day of zip lining or hiking to a waterfall come home to Casa Gina where you will enjoy a refreshing, private pool and see an abundance of rain forest animals including-Igaunas , Macaws, monkeys (3 different kinds) Butterflies,Toucans and so much more. But honestly the best part about staying at Casa Gina was having our own concierge services-Carlos and Jeanette who I cannot thank enough. They helped us with every single detail of our trip (Jeannete even had cerveza and chips and salsa delivered to us on our first day while we relaxed around the pool). Our hosts Gina and Gary were equally as attentive to ensure we had the best possible vacation! Pura Vida…and if we are lucky enough to return to Costa Rica it will definitely be at Casa Gina!❤️❤️❤️!

We had a great time on our recent trip to Costa Rica! Casa Gina was a lovely jungle retreat that we wanted to spend as much time at as possible. Carlos was a huge help when our flights were delayed on the way there and even brought us a replacement charcoal lighter one night so we could cook dinner on the grill. We enjoyed the local restaurants, shopping, beaches, and fishing and even ventured to other towns a couple hours from Manuel Antonio. The wildlife at the house was abundant and very entertaining. We wish we could have stayed longer. Thank you for having us!

My husband and I traveled here for my 48th birthday and had a great time. The house was private while still being close to everything. We made breakfast and dinner while we were there and the kitchen had everything we needed. My husband bought a shirt with sloths on it and accidentally left it behind. I was able to text Carlos from the airport and he graciously agreed to mail it to our house in the US. That is exactly the excellent customer service that we received during our entire stay. I would highly recommend staying in this amazing home and we can’t wIt to go back.

What an amazing property! Just gorgeous all around. You are literally surrounded by nature. We were awoken most mornings by howler monkeys. We had toucans, hawks, lizzards, iguanas, agoutis, macaws and lots of different frogs visit us while on our stay. Carlos the property manager will organize any activity you need. Just top notch stay!

Casa Gina is in a great location, close to plentiful activities, but also away from it all. You feel secluded in your own jungle oasis. But the house and location are out done by the house concierge, Carlos. His assistance with all of the trip planning was essential and all of the service providers that he arranged were top notch. Carlos, we can't thank you and your team enough.

What a magical trip we had to CR and we totally loved our stay at Casa Gina. It was a perfect location: very private, yet very close to both Quepos and Manuel Antonio. We did have a rental car. Our group consisted of my husband, adult son, his partner and myself. Minutes after having Carlos, our host, greet us and introduce us to the property, we were greeted by a troop of squirrel monkeys, a highlight of our backyard critter watching.Besides the monkeys, over the course of our 8 night stay, we spied several iguanas, lizards, hummingbirds, butterflies, and even a sloth on premises. A pair of scarlet macaws flew over most days and on our last night,we found them roosting in an old tree trunk just down the way. We loved our time enjoying the back deck, refreshing pool, and all that nature had in store for us! However, the inside of Casa Gina did NOT disappoint either. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was well appointed with everything we needed for cooking a few meals. It was also nice to have a washer and dryer for our use after a hot beach day. The concierge is Carlos and he was terrific at both communication before and during our stay. He was there to answer questions, to set up excursions, and to trouble-shoot as needed. We have visited several other location in CR on previous trips, and this visit was definitely a memorable one filled with a lot of family fun. Without hesitation we encourage travelers who will be traveling to this area to consider staying at Casa Gina.

When planning this vacation there were MANY decisions to make, the area, Pacific or Carribean, air fare, car rental, hotels stays arriving and leaving, tours, etc. The most important is lodging! From the many available places, we chose Casa Gina and we are so glad we did! It is an oasis, if possible in the jungle, away up very high from the chaos down below of traffic and noise. The back patio is like Manuel Antonia Park, howler monkeys in the morning, a flock of little green parrots, the macaws flying over, monkeys, hummers and butterflies! The pool is awesome, landscaping beautiful. The residence was clean, the kitchen stocked and the best experience was the private chef who fixed us a great dinner, even better than our many delicious dining out ventures. The most appreciated aspect of Casa Gina is the total privacy. No neighbors unless you count the red squirrel monkeys. Let me also mention Carlos, who reached out after booking to offer assistance in any way, booking tours and helpful suggestions. A very patient and kind person. Let me honestly say, Costa Rica is not for sissies, its a country of adventure and beauty, At the end of an exciting day of new experiences it was good to retreat to the Casa, swim in our private pool, and watch and listen to who knows what! I can with confidence highly recommend Casa Gina. Pura Vida

This property was such a private oasis. The house was well furnished and perfect for 2 couples. Totally enjoyed the visit with the squirrel monkeys and Carlos is worth his weight in gold. He was there to assist us with all our needs and take care of us when I wasn’t sure how to manage transportation. I would definitely stay here again.

Casa Gina is a little piece of paradise. The home is beautiful, clean, bright and had all of the comforts of home. The backyard jungle oasis was the perfect place for our family to enjoy and unwind. A very special place indeed. Carlos was responsive and helpful. We couldn't be more appreciative. Pura Vida!

This property and its plants, wildlife, neighborhood, sites, and sounds! Wow! We enjoyed our stay so much at Casa Gina. It felt like we saw different treasures each day right in the backyard. The house is gorgeous, the kids loved the pool, and waking up to the jungle each morning was such a gift. Carlos was incredibly helpful with booking tours and communicating. The area is so full of things to do; we surely will need to return. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home! Pura Vida!

We had an amazing time at Casa Gina. The house was just as advertised. The property is beautiful, peaceful and serene. We were lucky enough to see iguanas, lizards, butterflies and on our last night we had a visit from the squirrel monkeys, a definite highlight of our stay!
Carlos, the house manager was easy to work with and was quick to reply back with any questions we had. He booked a few excursions for us as well. The owners are also very accommodating and let us stay an extra night ( we weren’t ready to leave and head back to the city). We were very grateful for the opportunity to stay another night.
The location is great, lots of great restaurants a quick drive away. Excursion busses picked us up down the driveway which was also easy and convenient.
We cooked in a couple nights and the kitchen was fully stocked with everything you need to stay in for the night.
We had a wonderful time swimming and enjoying the house. Be sure to save some time to enjoy the house and the beautiful outdoors while staying.
Thank you to the Casa Gina family for opening up your beautiful home to us! We hope to be able to return someday.

My family (2 adults, 3 kids (9,13,16) stayed for a week at this amazing house The house had everything that you would need. Carlos was friendly and easy to communicate with. We enjoyed the pool every day. We saw monkeys, macaws, iguanas , frogs all from the backyard. The house is close enough to the town and beaches to make a quick drive for food and entertainment. We will definitely recommend this home for anyone looking to experience Pura Vida!

As advertised, lovely house tucked into the hills, clean, good communication with the manager. It was a great home base for us to explore Quepos and Manuel Antonio and southern Costa Rica generally, and also just to relax in the evenings.

I had a great stay at Casa Gina this spring with 2 friends. Carlos was very helpful and gave us great tips about the area. The home is in a beautiful valley and is very private. It is close to town and we were able to visit the beach, restaurants etc, by car and taxi. We were able to cook in the well-equipped kitchen, and the pool is amazing, we would happily stay here again!

We had an amazing week at Casa Gina. The house had everything we needed. It was comfortable, very clean and the pool was so nice to relax in. Carlos (house manager) went above and beyond, booking all or our activities for the week. He checked in with us each day to confirm our activity and pick-up time. He also gave us lots of other recommendations for the area. We would highly recommend this home and we hope to be back soon!

Recommendation: Make sure you get a car with 4WD or 2WD w/2.0 engine. The hill is very steep and our original rental car (2WD w/1.0 engine) overheated getting up the hill. We swapped out the car and had no issues the rest of the week.
I'd also highly recommend booking a meal with the private chef that Carlos recommends. It was the best meal that we had our entire visit. If you do this, book it earlier in the week because we had sooo many leftovers and not enough time to eat them.
This house is absolutely amazing! Carlos (the house manager) began corresponding with us when we booked the property and answered all questions we had. He was on-time for check-in and was very responsive anytime we had questions throughout the week.
The house is located within minutes of Manuel Antonio and was an easy commute to the beaches/restaurants/marina/Quepos.
We spent hours in the pool and loved spotting wildlife from the backyard (butterflies, iguanas, lizards, frogs, and toucans). We didn't see any monkeys but definitely heard the howler monkeys in the mornings. We loved having the neighborhood dog visit us as well.
The house is fully stocked with everything you'd need. Having the necessities right there to make breakfast/lunch/dinner made our vacation even more stress free.
It was a very safe neighborhood and we plan to come back in a couple of years as our kids get older and able to do even more activities. We will most definitely come back to Casa Gina.

This Villa went beyond our expectations. Descriptions and pictures are very accurate. Very close to towns to go on tours, beach or sightseeing. Take a day or two just to stay at Villa and enjoy the quiet surroundings. Every possible item in kitchen you could possibly want or need. Also maps, binoculars, beach towels and most items you could want are in the Villa. The property manager Carlos is a dream. Very polite, sweet caring man. He attended to any needs we had. Set up our tours, ride from airport and attended to every need or question we had. He is a huge asset to this Villa. This was a great experience.
Thank You KT

This house has the perfect location, backyard and layout. Absolutely beautiful in and out, private pool too, The backyard is part of the jungle. We had the white faced bandit monkeys visit us, many Scarlet McCaws fly around and nest within meters of the house. Also saw Toucans perched in the trees, Howler Monkey, and lots of jungle sounds in eve and morn. The house is a must stay and Carlos, the House Manager can’t be any nicer or more informative. He fixed us up w fantastic tours, a gourmet Chef and taxis drivers when needed. The house once again is so comfy. You will definitely enjoy! We shall return!!!

After a very long day travelling, we were relieved to arrive at the house and Carlos was very accommodating with our late arrival. The immediate impression was that the house was magnificent, but this did not prepare us for the wildlife spectacle in the back garden. We thoroughly enjoyed relaxing in the secluded garden and the pool, although small, was beautiful and a very welcome treat on those hot, humid days. Bedroom was spacious and comfortable and the addition of air conditioning in all rooms was superb. Carlos was easy to communicate with and helped solve any problems promptly. The house was in a perfect location, near to many facilities and attractions, yet away from the hustle and bustle of the tourist routes. Would highly recommend it to anybody.

This place is lovely. It is very private, with it's own little slice of jungle. I stayed here for 3 days with my 80 YO mother and my two teenage kids. We loved hanging out by the pool, seeing squirrel monkeys on the patio and iguanas on the trees right by the house, and hearing all the jungle sounds. Driving up to the property is a fun adventure. Carlos is incredibly helpful and responsive, and he booked our canopy tour for us, which worked out beautifully. Overall, we had a wonderful stay here.

We traveled to multiple destinations in Costa Rica and we were glad we saved the best house for last. The kids were so surprised to have such a spacious place to call home for 4 nights after being in hotel rooms for for the previous week. The house is centrally located between Quepos and Manuel Antonio which gave us plenty of options for the beach and restaurants. We loved waking up to the birds and howler monkeys every morning, no alarm needed. Seeing the many animals the came through was such a treat, morpho butterflies, macaw parrots, and even the friendly neighborhood dogs that my kids loved as we missed our animals at home. The only downside is we wished we could have spent more time at the house, we were just too busy enjoying the area, we didn't save enough time to enjoy the home. Overall, it was a great house in a great location.

We had a wonderful stay at Casa Gina, the house was amazing and we felt very much taken care of as guests. Carlos was super helpful and attentive. The house was very well equipped, and we appreciated the cooking basics (oil/vinegars etc) that were there. And thank you for the coffee! Pool and property are lovingly maintained. Wish we could have spent longer. Highly recommend- we are a family of five with teens, great place to come/go to experience MA. We had a vehicle and would consider it somewhat necessary. Taxis are plentiful and bus stop is probably a twenty min walk.
Thank you for having us, we highly recommend Casa Gina!

We had the most amazing stay. Everything was perfect - communication prior to arriving and all details while we were there such as tours and suggestions for dinner. The house is extremely comfortable and the setting is stunning.

Absolutely loved our time here!!! The place itself is amazing, tucked away in the jungle but still close to everything by car. Saw lots of birds like tucans and macaws from the house. Friendly neighborhood dogs will also visit.
Carlos was helpful and responded quickly to needs. List in the house of guide/restaurant recommendations was helpful.
There was a travel crib for our 1 year old- for families traveling you will just need to create a makeshift baby gate but otherwise the area was perfect for her to play.
Kitchen well stocked, lots of towels for the pool and beach.
Overall loved it and would absolutely come back.

My two teenage kids and I rented this property for their first overseas vacation ever, and it was simply awesome! Carlos organized all excursions with fantastic people in advance of our arrival. He communicated instructions and status throughout the process and checked in on how the adventures went. The house was clean and super functional. The kids loved going to the grocery store to see all the local foods and we cooked at the house almost every night. We had frogs and monkeys in the back yard, and my daughter fell in love with the neighbors dogs that visited us. This was unlike any resort vacation. We left Costa Rica feeling like we just visited great friends!

The house was gorgeous- conveniently located. It was very private- pool was not lhuge but adequate. Kitchen was well stocked- toaster blenders etc. not like many places on Vrbo! An Carlos was excellent to work with! Awesome experience. But not really close to the beach in my opinion.

This property was better than I expected. Nestled in the tropical trees, we were greeted by monkeys swinging through the trees. The pool is fabulous and the house has many comforts us Americans and used to that are hard to come by in CR. Thank you for sharing your fabulous home and Carlos was very friendly and helpful.

Amazing!! A must stay!
This is a literal gem of a property. Not only is the location amazing — we saw monkeys, toucans, frogs and more from the pool! — but the property manager is top notch and his help and recommendations made our trip truly memorable. Don’t even pause before booking — it’s an amazing location. Definitely recommend you have a car for staying here but it’s not impossible without one. We will be back!

Perfect Costa Rican Relaxing Hideaway
This was the perfect spacious house for our family. We had monkeys, butterflies, macaws, random animals visit the backyard often. The pool was an amazing temperature and a great way to relax after any excursion. Carlos, the manager of the property is awesome. We would highly recommend Casa Gina as a home away from home in Costa Rica.

Casa Gina was amazing!
We loved our stay at Casa Gina. The location was great, and the view from the back patio was breathtaking. The house is even better in person than in the pictures. We saw monkeys playing in the trees twice as well as other wild life while just relaxing on the patio. Carlos, the property manager, was so helpful and gave many recommendations for activities, places to eat and made the check in process very easy. All of his recommendations worked out great for us and added to our great trip! The pool was so nice to cool off in and the air conditioning really helped on the humid nights. If you are considering a trip to Manuel Antonio, Casa Gina is a great place to stay!

A Costa Rica work of Love
The setting of the property was perfect Costa Rica. Rainforest, monkeys, Macaus toucans and frogs and lizards. Simplistic luxury. Very private and property management went far beyond the call of duty. We’ll return. This was not our first trip to CR.

Casa Gina Puravida
Enjoy the incredible Manuel Antonio flora and fauna from the comfort of lovely Casa Gina. We saw many squirrel monkeys, macaws, toucans, etc. Could hear howler monkeys all the time but didn't see them. The Ylang Ylang tree out front smells incredible in the evenings.
The pool was great to cool off on the sunny days when it gets scorching hot. Beds are very comfortable and main bathroom/shower was roomy and nicely appointed. Used the BBQ once which was very clean and of good quality. The road in is a bit of adventure at first; we had a 4x4 but you can do it with a 2 wheel drive.
Carlos was amazing with the check in and for booking the Manuel Antonio guided walk.
An incredible place to experience the beauty of Costa Rica.!
