Pleasant stay. 3rd floor loft was very warm even with ac running but that's the inherent nature of old houses.
Kitchen was very nice, living room was comfortable. 6 year old has nice stay in room with bunk beds, 70 year old grandfather comfortable in 2nd floor main bedroom.
Sent a message to host via Vrbo app Wednesday before a Saturday stay and host did not respond at all.
Parking is located behind house in Fulton St. Was advised of parking location prior to arrival and was fine once we found it, but would suggest using a Fulton St gps address if you leave property and return later so you don't need to circle block.

This property is in the perfect location. We walked to a grocery store, restaurant, and could have walked to the center market but we were concerned we would buy too much to carry. The off street parking was a huge plus. The owners were super easy to reach. We would rent from this homeowner again.

The property was conveniently located in historic downtown Lancaster. Walking distance to several restaurants and shops. And it was nice to have our own designated parking space. Just know this property does have stairs. That was not a problem for us though. Everything was neat and clean. Would definitely stay here again. The only little issue we had was when we got there, it took us several tries to get the little combination lock box open to get the house key out. Tried calling the owner twice with no response. Finally got it open but not before starting to panic a little. But after that, everything was great.

It met our needs perfectly! Location was perfect to Dutch Wonderland, Sight and Sound, the outlets, and Cherry Crest Adventure Farm.

We thought it was a single family home. It was very clean location was close to things and place was well stocked. Didn’t realize it was a row house. Host was very responsive with all questions all together a nice weekend get away

It’s a good location to set up your base camp when in the Lancaster area.
Located within city limits with a small seven eleven type store a block away.
A designated parking space in the rear made things easier as well.
This is an older home which means it’s smaller so the stairs may be a little tight but that wasn’t a real problem.
I’m 6’3” so there was some ducking on my part.
You could walk to the science museum if you wanted but a drive to the central market might be best.
Some light foot traffic in the evening but not enough to disrupt our stay.
The home offered everything we required as traveling with a pre teen can be challenging and I enjoyed just having room to spread out; something you can’t do in a hotel room.
Full size fridge allowed us to bring what we needed but waves places a grocery store less than a mile away.
We could have stocked up while there but bringing what we wanted was easier.
Our daughter really enjoyed being on the third floor , her New York loft experience as she put it.
Overall it was a good experience

Two months after we booked a weekend here in September of 2022, the owner contacted me apologizing that her “calendar’s didn’t sync” and someone booked the property a few days before us. Okay, mistakes happen…Before I even replied, she messaged me again that she got the other people to cancel and our reservation was good. Had a decent stay, although someone feeds stray cats in the back and it smells like cat pee.
Fast forward to 2023, booked the property again. Two months after we booked it she messages me with the same story about her “calendar’s not syncing” except this time she says her sister in law has some other properties that might be available. When I followed up with her I pointed out how it seemed odd that she claimed to have the same issue the year before but also asked about her other recommended solutions…She ghosted me! Never answered me again! I had to call VRBO and get a refund. From what I gather, she has her properties on her own website as well as VRBO. If someone books there she doesn’t have to pay any fees or if someone books for more days she just cancels your reservation. Very dishonest owner. Plus, she waited 2 months to do this, ensuring that my family and I couldn’t find a similar property. You have been warned!

The house was clean and orderly. We really enjoyed the stay here after a long day out at Cherry Crest or riding Amish wagons. There is one oven and a refrigerator. We didn't stay for Shabbos so didn't have to figure out if the fridge would work on Shabbos.
Our twin boys, Zevy and Shmully, Age five enjoyed sleeping in the loft (attic) and we put our two year old Avi in the second bedroom. In the Master there is one comfortable bed. There isn't really room for a second matres in the Master. You can however fit one in the loft or take the top mattress off the bunk bed and put it on the floor next to the bunk bed.
This lovely house is a seven minute drive to The Yeshiva and I don't know if it is walkable.
The lock isn't digital so it can be used on Shabbos.
Overall we had an enjoyable stay.
I would Definitely recommend.

Looks just like the photos! Really clean and adorable!
This house, just like all the others in the area, is older with lots of little quirks.
PROS:
Quaint & quiet
Convenient parking off street
Beds and pillows were very comfortable
Loved the bedding
Comfortable seating in living area
The luggage racks in each room were wonderful
Beautiful original wood floors
Shower is nice and tall
Walking distance to everything
Information available for area attractions
CONS:
Walkway in the back is very uneven
Interior stairs are narrow, steep and uneven
Floors creak and slope
Tub is quite sloped
Most interior doors have been converted into sliding barn doors - there is now a large gap below each door
Air conditioner is very helpful on the 3rd floor, but the 2nd floor can be a bit warm in the summer if the blinds are left open during the day.
Kitchen is really lacking in cookware/bakeware and serving utensils.
Not much pantry/cupboard storage at all
No dishwasher
Fan in the master suite runs backwards and shifts back and forth, giving it a murderous vibe
Ceilings on the 3rd floor are sloped and a little difficult to navigate as an adult
Electric plugs in the bedrooms are far away from the beds
Overall, a wonderful stay! Would definitely recommend!

Property was in a great location. Easy access to attractions in the area, such as Hershey and the Amish country.
Everyone enjoyed being in a house, got some privacy and were able to spread out. We had been in hotel rooms before that.
Another bonus is the Lancaster brewery was a stone’s throw from the back porch of the house.

This property was as advertised. Accommodations for 7 however, as it was just the two of us, we only used the master bedroom. Parking was available both in front and in back. We loved the historic vibe of the house and neighborhood. Nice park in walking distance, also a convenience store and brew pub. Easy to get around, even with the one-way streets.
The kitchen was well furnished.
We would definitely stay here again.

It was a great place for our family Christmas vacation. The home was clean and a good size for our family of 7. We had everything we needed. It was very cold, so the temperature inside was not possible to regulate for all 3 levels. We had a good time! Thank you for hosting!

We really enjoyed the property and the location: it was close to downtown to walk there easily, and just a block or so away from the Lancaster Brewing Company. Property was clean, and comfortable. Would stay again!

Excellent
House was great and close to the convention center. The only gripe was it only had one bathroom and you have to watch your head on the third floor bedroom stairs. It has a really low ceiling. But other than that it was excellent

We enjoyed our stay. Strangely there were no to sheets in the beds just fitted sheets and blankets, but the kitchen was well stocked as was the bathroom. Place was clean and location was great! We would stay there again.

Dance Comp Lancaster
We spent the weekend for a dance comp in Lancaster. The house is very nice. Very clean and nicely decorated. It's nice to not be in a hotel room with everyone tripping over each other. There were nice restaurants in the area but unfortunately we only got to go to one for breakfast, Rachel's Crepes which were delicious.

Great apartment: small but spacious, and so stylish!
We've never stayed in any kind of urban setting before, and this was a great introduction. The apartment was small compared to, say, a house in the country, but it was surprisingly spacious inside, and pretty quiet. My husband and our four children (ages 10 to 17) were perfectly comfortable, and enjoyed the really different vibe.
The foosball in the basement was fun, the kitchen was so modern and trendy it made me want to cook dinner, the bed in the master bedroom was soooo comfy, and the room-darkening curtains were a big plus too.
No issues with the internet. Our stay included a Thursday night, and we had no problems taking the trash out and collecting it again on Friday.
My kids enjoyed experiencing an alley (something they'd read about in books, but never seen before!), and I was happy it was in such a clean and safe-feeling neighborhood.
As a previous reviewer mentioned, the bathroom faucets were sort of wobbly, and too close to the edge of the sink to be really user-friendly, but we managed.
One thing I was not expecting was the barn-door-style doors on the bathroom and bedrooms. I can see it's a really smart space-saver in that narrow upstairs hall, but they were a little loud when they rolled and banged on the track. A tiny detail, but something worth being aware of ahead of time.
Had a great stay, and wouldn't hesitate to come back if we needed to.
As a side-note for any runners out there: there was a beautiful paved greenway along the Conestoga River just a couple of miles from the house which I really enjoyed running on one morning, and my son went for a more hilly run in the Lancaster County Central Park, also right close by.

Cute and cozy in Lancaster
This home was adorable and in a great location for our family of four. Well decorated and perfectly supplied with everything we needed. My 10yr old son fell in love with the loft bedroom and the 4yr old enjoyed sleeping on the top bunk. Plenty of places within walking distance for food and drink which meant we didn't miss a dishwasher. Would definitely stay here again.

Needs some love
This is really a cute house, but it needs a deep clean. The walls, the rugs and the sofa had stains everywhere. I didn't want to walk around without shoes on or sit on the couch that had a stain on it that looked like blood. Multiple things were broken, like the second sink in the bathroom and the toaster. Seems like this place hasn't been given any love to keep it looking like it does in the photos.
