About this house rental
Former bar (Top of the Rock) was recently remodeled and converted into a vacation home. Open floor plan still has elements of the bar (pool table, dartboard, high top tables with bar stools) along with cozy feel of a home. Brand new kitchen, great room with 65” flatscreen TV, modern bathrooms upstairs and down. Lower level has three bedrooms which can sleep up to 8 people.
Beautiful panoramic views of the Mississippi River valley from the deck and inside the home. Since we are near the river, you will hear trains which will occasionally pass by.

- Build a campfire outside and watch the stars (firewood and portable fire pit is available for you)

Stayed a few days with our grandchildren. Their parents joined us midweek for the rest of the week. Had a great time. House was extremely clean and very well equipped. We cooked all meals. Kid’s enjoyed the pool table, dart board and foosball. No shortage of things to do in the area.

Everything is as listed, if not better. My friends and I had a great time using this place as a bachelor party. The living area on the 2nd floor is fantastic. Lots of windows with great lighting. We utilized all games available like foosball, darts, and pool. I would 100% recommend a stay and am very tempted to come back in the future.

Property was wonder! Very spacious. Loved watching the barges quietly going by day and night. Would be a great spot for a holiday family gathering.

My girlfriends and I had a wonderful long weekend. Plenty of beds, well stocked kitchen, and lots of room to relax on the deck or play inside. The deck gets a lot of sun, so it would have been nice to have a patio umbrella. Very small town. So if you plan to go out, there are only a few options, they only take cash, and be sure to check their hours. The tiki bar closed at 7pm on Sunday. Overall, a great place to stay

First impression when we arrived was how clean it was (VERY!) and that it looked exactly like the pictures or better. The beds were comfortable, there were plenty of towels for 6 women, kitchen had everything we needed. We had plenty of space and greatly enjoyed the indoor and outdoor seating options.
There were a few trains that went by on Friday and Saturday, but the latest we heard one was 11:15pm and the earliest we heard one was 7:45 am so it wasn't too disruptive. It was kind of fun to watch them go by too!
We've already talked about the possibility of doing a weekend like this again next year, and we would definitely seriously consider coming back!

I rented the property to be a comfortable stay while we were celebrating a family weekend. With my 7 year old daughter and babysitter along for the ride, the home was perfect for them to be entertained when we didn’t have wedding festivities. We will definitely be booking for a future stay and bring more guests with us to fully enjoy the property and all the amenities. The property was super clean and had everything you could think of. Chris was super accommodating and kind!

Group of guys in town for a fishing tournament in Lacrosse. 20 minutes to main boat ramp, plenty of boat ramps nearby. Able to park 4 full size bass boats in the driveway with some wiggle room, with plenty of truck parking also. The home is wonderful with beautiful views of the river. Everything you could need and want from the pool table and dart board to the grill and kitchen utensils! Highly recommend to anyone coming to the area!

We had a great stay! We had a group of 6 stay at the property, and the house was perfect for us. Great views of the river, plenty of things to keep us entertained (pool table, dart board, foosball table), and plenty of room. Communications, access, and instructions were clear, simple, and easy to follow. We would definitely recommend this property to anyone staying in the area.

Once you stay at this property you will want to return. We have stayed here multiple times and it's always fantastic. Chris is a great host, the house is beautiful and well stocked, and the game room is an added bonus.

This was the second time my family stayed at this property. It is very clean and has everything you need in the kitchen to prepare meals. The views are beautiful, and we had a lot of fun in the game room too. We would definitely stay again when in the area.

This was our 2nd stay, bringing family with us this time. The kids (and adults) had fun playing pool, foosball, darts, Xbox, games & cards. Never once got bored and never needed to leave. The cleanliness is outstanding. Highly recommend!

This place is awesome! The beds are very comfortable with almost new pillows. The view is beautiful and there is ample room to spread out. The kitchen has everything you need and the games and speaker system give you so many things to do! Highly recommend if you can find a time to visit.

What a great place to stay! It was clean and spacious and well stocked. Had a great deck and lots of windows with a great view of the river. Close to lots of nearby cities that we hit up for shopping and eating. Loved how all the bedrooms were on a separate floor. The main floor had lots of games and TV’s. It was a great place to relax and spend time together. We especially enjoyed playing pool and darts. We had a wonderful time and will definitely come back again.

This was a great place for our annual family summer get away! The surrounding areas had lots for both kids and adults to do and the house was the perfect place to come back in to to relax and play games and enjoy the beautiful views of the Mississippi River.

Girl’s weekend was a total success thanks to this amazing property. It was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. The view of the Mississippi River was beautiful. The proximity to LaCrosse allowed us to find some great activities and awesome food. Would totally rent this property again.

Beautiful, spotless home with gorgeous views of the river. Such a fun layout with game room and living area flooded with natural light from wrap around windows. This place is one of those gems that is far better than the photos, which were great!
Morning coffee on the rooftop deck watching bunnies frolic in the wildflowers near the waterfront.
The host was quick to answer our questions before arrival and everything was perfect from check in to departure.

We loved our stay at the top of the Rocks venue. Every bed was comfortable. We most enjoyed watching the barges move up and down the river. I most enjoyed the beautiful equipped kitchen. The dart team enjoyed the dart board for practice every day before heading to the tournament. Chris was an exceptional host.

Great views of the river and surrounding bluffs. We stayed here for a graduation weekend and everyone enjoyed the pool table, foosball and darts. The large open area is a great hangout spot for a larger group. The deck space is also very nice. We had a couple of minor issues/questions on check in, but Chris was very quick to respond. Overall we had a nice stay at the property.

This was our third visit here. The house is clean and the view is amazing! We all had a great time playing darts and pool and just hanging out together. The sound system is fantastic. The house is well stocked. We had everything we needed. Chris was great to work with and always got back to me promptly to answer any questions. We will definitely be back!

We had a Celebration of Life in LaCrescent and this property was just 10 minutes away. We decided to make the most of it and spend the entire weekend with our daughter, nephew and his family. The 4 year old up through the 54 year olds had plenty to do at this property. And the views of the river were amazing! The place was extremely clean, and Chris (our host) was absolutely amazing to work with! I have shared this property with several others since then and we are hoping to go back again soon!

Extremely clean place that was stocked with kitchen supplies so we could cook and grill and eat like kings all while enjoying the amazing sunrise evey morning. Great stay!

Stayed here for our daughter’s college graduation. She wasn’t planning to stay at the house but once she saw it she decided to stay. We had a fabulous time. The main area was perfect for playing games and gathering. The views were so pretty with the new snow. This place would also be fantastic in the summer. Would love to stay here again.

My mom and I stayed here for my mom's 61st birthday and holy cow it was gorgeous, well kept, and so many activities!
We had planned on going shopping in lacrosse, but we loved it so much at the house we stayed in the entire time. The pictures online are beautiful, but they don't do the place justice what so ever.
