We have operated our home 'Estrella Mountain Escape' for 20 years and it is one of the few premier custom vacation Homes located in the 'Enclaves' in Estrella Mountain Ranch! This is a private 'mini estate' custom home. Many happy and satisfied guests from all over the US, Canada and Europe have enjoyed our home and some have returned more than once! Please see our guest comments.

The property is professionally maintained with many varieties of desert plants and trees including large Saguaro cactus. Relax and have dinner on the oversized covered tiled patio comfort controlled w/3 ceiling fans or enjoy quiet conversation while lounging on teak steamer chairs and two custom upolstered bench seats. There is gas firepit that is under the covered patio with beautiful mountain views and partial views of the pool area.

There is nearly 2800 square feet on two levels. The home includes three bedrooms and three baths. One master bedroom suite, with King pillow top mattress and Roman soaking tub (over-sized tub) with separate shower area and double sinks. This room opens up onto veranda with views of lake and mountains, the second bedroom has a queen bed and also opens up onto the veranda and the third bedroom has two twin beds which can be converted to a king upon your request. There are views from all bedrooms through large arc style windows. This vacation home sleeps six privately add another two on the quality sleeper sofa!
The family room has a gas fireplace surrounded by custom tile and cushy leather sofa and love seat. There is a new Lazyboy lounge rocking chair where you can cozy up the the fireplace and read a book. View Samsung 65" Smart WIFI TV connect to internet and has built in Alexa and other Apps. There are many sport channels added! The Living room has a sofabed, loveseat and ottoman, there is a private wet bar for entertaining and a separate dining room w/seating for six, a large custom designed kitchen with counter seating for four are some features of this home. The two car garage has an electric door openers. Central air and heat as well as ceiling fans are throughout.
The living room features 'quiet' area along with new Lazyboy queen sofabed and matching loveseat. There are several books and cd's to enjoy.
The home is gorgeous and very comfortable. You may spend some quiet time lounging on custom upolstered window seat while curling up with your favorite book. This home affords Views! Views! and more Views! There are numerous areas in and around the home that afford guests private areas even when traveling with a group.
We offer free access to the internet, surf the web, check email, upload photos, keep in touch with friends, family or the office from anywhere in the house, out on the patio or balcony, or even by the pool. It's easy to use and available to you as our guest.

Traveled to Arizona for our friends wedding. Great location and host was very helpful and responsive. The biggest trouble we had was with the internet service. Unfortunately it kept dropping so we had to find a coffee shop to work remotely from. Otherwise very nice.

Amazing Property. We stayed 53 nights. Our home away from home. Lynn was the best host. Had a few questions that were promptly answered. Shared with 2 couples for 10 days,then our Son and family stayed a few days. Weather allowed us to use the pool for a few days and grandkids had a blast. Beautiful views and very private. To watch the nightfall turn into day and vice versa over the Estrella Mountains which the property affords an unobstructed view of from the back of the property is simply awe inspiring, I had the opportunity to drive around Goodyear this past trip, and I do not believe that there is a short term rental ANYWHERE in Goodyear that offers the seclusion, the mountain view, and the serenity that Lynn's home affords and if there is, you will pay considerably more for those amenities. We went down to Goodyear for a birthday party that we held at the property. The house and grounds are very nice. The kitchen is very well stocked with cooking items.
The listing says the one bedroom has two twin beds that can be converted to a king but the bed was only two twin beds smashed together. Also, the master bed pillow top is VERY soft!

We picked the house due to its secluded location. We needed three beds and three baths, and this house provided that. Some of the instructions were a little conflicting. The email list was different than the house book.

Great place to stay. Everything was clean. The kitchen had everything you would need for making a meal, and the bathrooms had plenty of towels. Very nice master suite. The balcony was delightful. Exceptional neighborhood and location. Great hiking right from the backyard. The pool was clean and well maintained. The fire pit, patio table, and sun screen were wonderful. The location was perfect for our agenda. We corresponded with Lynn several times prior to arrival and she was very responsive and helpful. We had ZERO issues. From the comfortable beds to the decor, we loved it. P. Something I totally appreciated was that we did not have to buy the “basics “.
For our two weeks, we did not run out of anything. Detergent, toilet paper. Paper towels, etc.. The outdoor space was amazing. Very quiet and peaceful surrounded by nature . Thanks for sharing your home. We look forward to future visits.

The location of the house is fantastic. Close to a lake and a great walking path. The house backs to a mountain offering spectacular views. The backyard/pool & hot tub offer a tranquil setting. The house however is in need of some updating. The pictures and reviews previously posted are accurate. The house is very outdated, which some may call "authentic southwest" decor. I would refer to it as "in need of some upkeep and remodeling", especially the kitchen. The house smells old and of mildew. We were greeted by a kitchen leak under the sink, with a fan blowing to dry out the bottom of the cabinet. There were several minor issues in the house during our stay ie. a sink not draining, water not running in a faucet, and the dishwasher not working properly just to name a few. All these issues were communicated to the owner. Lynn was very prompt to respond and her handyman arrived prior to our departure so I could show him all of the issues we encountered. Most of the issues we encountered could / should have been discovered before our arrival. The kitchen is the biggest area in need of an update. Overall, while the house does have a comfortable master bed (other bedrooms not so much) and the price point reasonable, I would not stay here again unless the house was updated.

We have stayed here a few times before and enjoy golfing and hiking. We golfed at the Estrella golf club which we recommend highly. We also hiked the local jaunts as well as Dutchman state park (Massacre Falls trail) also highly recommended. At the end of the day this property was awesome to kick back have a drink and relax. We did not have time to use the pool facility but our last night we noticed steam coming off the hot tub and decided to soak our weary bones. We will definitely be back.

Absolutely everything about this home was perfect. The art on the walls, the large kitchen, the backyard... it was an amazing authentic Arizona experience.
Getting the spa turned on was a little complicated, but the host was so kind as to send out pool people to turn it on and show us how it worked. They were great as well!
This is an upscale neighborhood... beautiful views when you climb the mountain.. those Arizona sunsets just can't be beat.

My only suggestion would be a little more comfortable and cushy outdoor seating. When you enjoy a firepit, you want to snuggle in and stay a while. But otherwise, absolutely nothing could be improved on. Perfection.

Enjoyed everything about our stay!
We chose this property due to its close distance to the Phoenix Raceway.
It was very easy to drive back and forth each day for the NASCAR Championship Race.
We made it a vacation and stayed 8 nights.
Once the race was done we explored the area and found it to be the perfect location to do so.
The house itself was cozy and majestic!
We ate many meals there and found everything I needed.
Some reviews say the home is dated but we didn’t think that was the case.
We loved the Southwestern Decor!
The outside of the home was wonderful! We loved the covered dining area with large grill and firepit.
While the pool was too cold we enjoyed the spa/hot tub several times.
The weather had just turned cooler so that’s why the pool was too cold for us.
The views were even better than shown on the listing! I took several photos but don’t see a way to upload them here.
We hope to go back next year for the Nascar race and we will for sure stay here!!

This is a lovely quiet home in the Phoenix suburbs. We enjoyed relaxing by the pool even though it was unheated as are many this time of year. Unfortunately for us there was a mechanical problem with the spa and we were unable to use it. (Problem has been corrected). The king bed in the primary suite was cozy and comfortable. We loved sitting on the covered patio for meals and drinks. The fire pit was so nice! Host Lynn was very responsive to our inquiries. We would stay there again.

This home was even nicer than pictured. It is in a quiet neighborhood with beautiful views of sunrise and sunset. We enjoyed walking to the nearby park and lake in the early morning. Grocery and restaurants are nearby. It had everything we were looking for!

What a great home! This house has all the amenities. Very well decorated with the Arizona theme. Beds were very comfortable and there was plenty of room for all. The neighborhood was great and was in close proximity to grocery stores, restaurants, etc. We took daily walks around the lakes and there are several hiking trails within a 30 minute drive.
