Brand new January 2019, Apartment 1003 at The Alexander (10th floor) is large beautiful modern apartment with gorgeous ocean views. Presidential Suite- 4 bedroom 3 Bathroom Sleeps 4 couples or up to 10 guests in real luxury pillow top beds. Great for large groups! Full granite kitchen, great room with dining for 10. Bedrooms- master has king bed sleeps 2 and a bonus single twin, T.V. and private accessible bathroom with walk in shower; bedroom 2 has 3 twins (or can be configured as a king and a twin), TV; bedroom 3 has 1 queen, TV and converted den is bedroom 4 with 2 single twins which can be converted to a king upon request, TV; High Speed Wi-Fi, Cable, Central Air, Ceiling Fans, all comforts of home. This suite is perfect for four couples or a large family or group. Private washer dryer upon request (additional fee of $50 per stay). The unit was perfect! Great views from the balcony, short ride to South Beach, and great hotel pools/access to the beach. Two complaints would be the online listing has one more bed than actually exists (bedroom 4 lists two twin beds but it’s actually one full) which left a member of my party on the stiff leather couch and the resort staff were not too pleasant to interact with. However, the unit itself was great!

The condo is renovated and beautiful! The hotel itself has undergone renovations and still needs some work but the condo itself is beautiful! Elevators need to be updated.

We enjoyed our stay immensely. Although we stayed for only 2 days, we found the apartment super clean, modern, well stocked, the beds were super comfy, the air conditioning worked well, the check in and out process was super easy, and the host responded to all our inquiries in a very timely fashion. The views were beautiful, the apartment was light and airy and the beach was super accessible and gorgeous! We would definitely stay here again if we came back to the area! Thank you Mark, for a wonderful experience.

This condo is centrally located to some many things and right on the beach. It was clean and well appointed and management was super fast to respond. Highly recommend.

Overall great stay.
I arrived at the property about an hour in a half before the check in time. The front desk told me it was ready and gave me the wrist bands. However my code to the door would not work and I was told that it would not work until 1pm. The bell man called mark and was able to get it activated for me. Overall the place was very clean and spacious and met all of our needs. The view of the water was beautiful. It was a great location and the pool was fun with easy access to the beach. Besides the check in process it was overall a great property to stay.

The property is so convenient- you could just spend the whole weekend there if needed! Two pools, beach bar with food options, and the beach with access to beach towels and chairs ($15 a day). They also have a café and food mart on the lower level which was very helpful for items we forgot to bring. My friends and I can't wait to come back!

Laid back week
I took my two college kids for their spring break weekdays. We each had our own bedroom and bathroom. This property was perfect-pretty quiet, the apartment exactly as in pictures and summary, close to the beach, walking paths and good local food yet not in the middle of the super busy south beach area. The balcony was perfect for morning coffee each day-seeing the bay and the ocean in opposite directions. We rented a pool cabana from the property manager which was great and made our pool/beach days much nicer and easier. It was perfect since it was a cloudy/rainy week and we were able to duck into the inside during rain showers and easily get outside as soon as it stopped-even useful when we were at the beach. The property manager was quite responsive and quickly handled any issue/question. As I read in a previous review, I didn’t get the amount and kind of communication I’ve gotten after booking other VRBOs where you get more details about the area, food, shopping etc but we didn’t need it ahead of time and the information we received a few days before and at check-in was fine. Great place. Highly recommend it.

Very nice, minimal issues

Thanks for a lovely stay at your room. It was beautiful and everyone enjoyed the space.
I didn't bring this to you Thursday as we were in full Bachelorette motion and I was the planner, however we were not able to check in early. We paid for 2pm check-in and didn't get inside the room until 3:30/4 which is regular check-in time. Please provide a refund for this.
I stayed in the master suite and it was great. Im just learning that the drains in the first to bathrooms drain very slow. When showering, the girls were quickly standing in a puddle of water. No action is needed on your part here as Im just learning of this, but sharing so you'll know.
Im not 100% I locked the door properly, however I didn't enter the password again.

Mark the property manager finally got in contact with me explaining how they were completely at fault and came up with a few options for my group. Ultimately he did resolve the issue for our group and we had a great stay. Only thing I'd suggest is more of a notice in the event that they have to move you. Pool area is also a great place to chill and unwind. Only one pool was open, but when the other one opens back up it'll only add to awesome pool area. I'd definitely stay again.

UNIT 1003=PERFECTION
We had a couples trip in Miami for 4 full days! This unit met all our expectations. It was spotless, roomy & stocked with everything we needed for our stay. The Alexander is currently updating their 2nd pool. It has easy, and very close access to the beach. We didn't stay much in our room as we were there to explore Miami. I will give the ROOM / property management company 5 stars!

Needs work on description
We came down for Super Bowl. The location worked out great. The Actual Condo was fine except for all the drains seemed to be clogged. The main complaint was the actual property. The whole place seemed to under construction. No carpet in hallways. Everything dusty. The walkway to pool/outdoor area seemed to be like concrete hallways in a dungeon. Metal doors rusted through. Bare wires sticking out into hallway. The description of the property was very misleading. The actual condo was nice TV was hard to operate. The building itself is in very poor shape. Could’ve had a much better experience. Will not be using again.

Miami Weeekend. No real complaints. Its Miami
My reviews for places are usually more in depth. For this stay I will keep it simple. The Actual Condo was Perfect. The Host has a very beautiful place. The Decor is great. i visited a friend on another floor and i was so disappointed in their place compared to this unit.
The only thing that would have been helpful would have been helpful to know that the entire building is under Construction. The Hall ways were dusty from Drywall repair. The long walk to the pool through the under belly of the hotel was odd.
I noticed that may people had a hard time getting the TV's to work for some reason, and it wasn't just this unit. It was quirky for sure.
Those are the main reasons I couldn't give it 5 stars across. Like i stated the UNIT ITSELF WAS GREAT!! I didn't need to have any communication with the host really.
If you are looking to be outside of the Hustle and bustle of south Beach and a walk away from the Beach, i would definitely recommend this unit. Great for 4 couples or 7 Guys or 20 women LOL

Birthday girls trip
The unit was beautiful very spacious for my 9 guest. The view was amazing. The only issue was that I wasn’t aware that the hotel was make renovations therefore there were issues with having hot water consistently. But it was easy to reach management regarding the matter and they were very accommodating. Overall I would give my stay 4/5. Only because some of my guest had to take cold showers. The location was perfect, Uber rides were readily available. We were unable to enjoy the amenities of the pool due to the renovations but it did not damper our stay. I would definitely come back!!!!

Good space; Had issues
We booked it for a bachelorette weekend and had a good time in Miami. The condo is was clean and generally as pictured (albeit a bit smaller), but there was serious construction in the hallway (beyond what we expected from the fine print) and it ruined the ambience. We also got noise complaints for playing music in the evening. I never leave negative reviews so I’d have probably rated this 5 stars except for our interaction with the property manager. Without our prior knowledge or consent, he charged us hourly rates for putting up decorations we agreed we could mail to the condo and they’d help us put it up. Instead of just discussing it with some courtesy or having an explanation, he was rude and condescending when we asked why we wouldn’t have been informed of such charges beforehand. Ironically, we would have left a tip that’d have been almost as much as what he charged us, but his demeanor was off putting. Besides that, we had a good time and the caretaker Leslie seems sweet and puts up nice decorations.

Girls Weekend
The rooms themselves were lovely. Well kept up, new, clean. Fit 8 ladies perfectly with multiple bathrooms. The whole hotel is being renovated, though, so hall looks scary as is walk to pool. That said the weekend was great. The renovation did not interfere with our stay at all. Loved the beach. Drink prices at pool bar were a bit overpriced and need less mixers and more fresh ingredients. Location was awesome.

Amazing and Luxurious Apartment
The apartment was really beautiful. We arrived it was spotlessly clean, with towels, tissues, soaps etc all supplied, and a stock more in the closet. There was a small problem with the drainage of the shower in one of the bathrooms, but I mailed the owner, and within the hour it was taken care of. The service was excellent. I would most definitely recommend this apartment, and have done so to a few friends already. Thank you for helping us towards a wonderful vacation
