Excellent airport option.

The owner was excellent with communications and was very helpful and friendly. He met me at the airport and did a very efficient transfer for 600 rupees. The shower was good and there is a fan and AC in the room. The owner and his family have a lovely property with gardens and take care to be as helpful as possible.

The WiFi doesn't work in the rooms, only communal space, but they said they will add a booster. The bed needs a top sheet because there was just a thick blanket.

Descanso y tranquilidad para poco tiempo.

El hostel está genial para pasar unos días. Yo necesitaba coger un avión muy pronto por la mañana y este hostel estuvo genial porque estaba muy cerca. Llegué a una habitación compartida femenina y la sorpresa fue que estaba sola, así que la habitación era toda para mí. La habitación y el baño estaban súper limpios y eran muy cómodos. Habían muchos mosquitos pero todas las ventanas y puertas tenían mosquiteras. La verdad que me sentí súper agusto! Necesitaba un lugar para descansar y estar tranquila unas horas y lo conseguí! Además el personal súper agradable y servicial, así que fue redondo.

Había muchos mosquitos y eran gigantes, así que te recomiendo que lleves un buen insecticida.

Great except for location and issue with A/C.

Newer facilities, clean, quiet, nice landscape, lots of trees and Abdul, the owner. He was very helpful to us and easy to approach.

Too far from where I wanted to be. Does not have good restaurants near the Homestay. The dorm was really small for 6 people. Accepted guests that don’t tolerate air conditioner in a very warm city which I ended up giving it up and it wasn’t comfortable. He probably didn’t know before the guest came in but now I think he should ask the guest first if they can’t stay in an air conditioned room and book her in a private room where they don’t need to turn the AC on.

Wanted a place near the airport so this was the closest hostel I could find. Owner is friendly and approachable. Breakfast is delicious. And you get to play with the hostel cat.

For early check in, I had pay for an extra day entirely. It would have been nice if there was an option.

It was a great stay.

The owner was always very friendly and helpful. But also gave the space when I needed. I'd say it's something I really value in someone. He was proactive in finding me a car and helped me carry my baggage as well. We also had a lovely friendly conversation.

Nice and quiet place to be near the airport and Kochi

The room was very quiet, cleanliness, nice space to share with other travellers.

He was a bit pushy and self-centered with some answers.

Just book and enjoy the retreat

Mr. Abdullah, owner of the house, is one of the most amazing person, he came along with his family to pick me up from the airport and offered me delicious kerala food for dinner.

great stay if you are out there to explore outdoors during day and only staying to sleep

great host. very accommodating and knowledgeable. Location is around 25 minutes from airport. Prompt breakfast and good house keeping

there was no television in the room even though it was shown when I booked. They are doing renovations so from 9-5 there is unbearable loud noises all around. hopefully they will be done soon. the soundproofing is not great but not the worst. AC is not connected to the backup so when there is a power failure, you won’t have AC till the power comes back. there are plenty of trees in the property so the fan will do the trick for the time being.

Awesome, budget friendly, convenient option

The property is nestled close to the city and airport. it has some eateries around but not many. The place is very quiet, clean and located in lush green trees.

Internet range could be bit better.

Perfect accommodation near airport

I really liked the location of the hostel, because it was just some minutes away from Aluva Metro/Train station. The host helped me out with everything and was very welcoming, best hostel to start my Indien journey!!

Very clean, spacious and comfy room. Abdul, the owner, was extremly helpful and sweet. It's an amazin value for money, since the breakfast is also included in the price. We had a very late check in because of our flight and Abdul picked us up with a big smile and a fair price for the ride.

The best rest after a very long flight

Perfect place, the villa is completely new, the rooms was super clean, with very confortable bed, hot and cold water and Abdul, the owner is lovely. If you just arrived in kerala, or if you have to go to the airport, back packers cochin villa is just what you need.

Be patient, the trees have to grow, i am sure, in few time the garden will be wonderfull

very clean, helpful owner, close to the airport and for a great price!

WiFi is available but not in the room and getting to the city is kinda hard, takes about 1,5-2 hours to reach Fort Kochi.

Best ever stay near Kochi!

We loved everything at this property! We stayed just for a night in a mixed dorm and it was spotless clean. We asked to check in at 12 AM and the host was extremely helpful and allowed that. It's a pretty place with lots and lots of trees around and so much greenery! The host has maintained the charm of an old cosy cottage while also giving it modern touch for more comfort. Oh, and the breakfast! Best ever breakfast I've had in Kerala. Do not miss it! Great experience!
