This house is not only beautiful but fully functional. The kitchen was fully equipped down to nice stemware and kitchen tools (even a grater)! Towels were set out on bed in organized bundles. It was a 5-star experience for sure. Everything was clean and organized.

Our family had a wonderful time and this place was perfect. The large table was perfect for meals and family game time. Everything worked great!! It’s a bit of a walk for beach access but we made it work.

Wonderful place for getting together, space and privacy and great common area. Our multigenerational family had a great thanksgiving weekend there. Only caution is that although the entrance to the beach is, as advertised, a five minute walk, the beach itself is another 5-10 minutes descent via stairs and a path. Not a problem for most people, but best to know about ahead of time for elderly or the very young so alternate plans can be made. We hope to come back.

Great location to the beach. The house wasn’t very clean upon arrival, the floors were dirty as well as the couches need a vacuum. Some of the bedding is tired and has stains. We unfortunately visited during the heat wave and there was only 1 fan in the whole house - temps around high 90’s. It would have been nice to have more fans delivered since there was no AC. We couldn’t get the fire pit in the outside table to work, I inquired early into our stay but never heard back. I would stay again and hope it would be a bit cleaner especially since the cleaning fee is so high.

This was a terrific house, updated and clean, well-equipped kitchen, plenty of space for everyone. Loved the neighborhood and short walk to the stairs to the beach.

Awesome location and house
Perfect location, you can walk to everything, beach, town, Marianne's ice cream. The house is beautiful with lots of room and comfy beds. Outside areas upstairs and down are both great for cocktails, dinner and games. Only problem was the fridge broke and we lost most all our food for the 4 days (one family member is a chef) and the owner and Beach nest would not reimburse us for what was lost or even respond. They did put a fridge in the garage 24 hours after it went out so we went to the store and started over. Very disappointing there was no response considering it's such an amazing house and everything else was perfect!

Family Beach Retreat
We had a terrific time at this property. We had eight guests--three young couples, two babies, and two grandparents. Even with this number of people, we had sufficient space to not only gather as a group, but also retire to individual bedrooms int he evening. The property is very comfortable and well-maintained and situated just a short distance from the beach. It is also close to Santa Cruz, Capitola and a large number of surrounding restaurants and activities. The Seacliff beach area is beautiful and just minutes from the front door. The property is excellent. Highly recommended.

It was my daughters 16th bday & we treated her & a few of her friends to a beach getaway with parental supervision of course! ;) Everything was five stars all around but did give cleanliness a 4 due to outside overflowing garbage cans. 5 stars to the property management company for being so responsive & had the extra trash picked up the next morning! They are a great host to work with especially since it’s my first booking. My daughter has been all smiles nonstop as she & her friends had the best time! This was a perfect treat for the teens as well as the adults. Would absolutely book here again!! Thank you for the lovely memories!!

Birthday weekend
We had a fabulous time staying the weekend in this beautiful home. It was spacious, clean and comfortable. I would gladly return for another vacation and recommend this house to anyone wanting to spend time close to the beach.

Excellent get away!
The house is spacious, well designed, and perfect for a family or friend vacation rental! The beautiful open space kitchen brings everyone together nicely so everyone feels included in all activities. Having four bedrooms, three and half bathrooms and an extra sitting room allows for very comfortable living. The patio is expansive and extends the entertainment area. It was so wonderful to be able to easily walk to the beautiful beach and also have ice cream at Marianne’s Ice Cream, our very favorite ice cream! This wonderful home allowed us to experience the very best that Aptos had to offer!

Celebrated my sister's 40th birthday and did not expect to enjoy it all as much as we did. The home was beautiful, clean, and we enjoyed every moment. It was easy to arrive and leave, with very clear instructions. My mom wants to make it a yearly event to go back and celebrate. We will definitely return!

Beautiful home
This house is beautiful and roomy! Both my family of 4 including 2 teenagers and my brother’s family of 6 adults had plentiful space to enjoy a full week together. The house is fully equipped with everything you need. The location is great being only a few blocks from the beach gate entrance to Seacliff beach as well as a short drive to the food market to stock the kitchen. We would definitely stay here again and recommend the house for any family looking to enjoy the Santa Cruz / Aptos area

Spectacular!
We were five 60-something women getting together for our semi-annual weekend together. We've done this four times already, and our standards for accommodations are pretty high. We were blown away by the taste, comfort, and brand-new furnishings of this place -- we almost wondered if we were the first guests to stay here. Gorgeous, well-equipped kitchen, great beds, and comfortable living area. Lovely fireplace. Beautiful deck and yard areas. And, while none of us used them, nearly every bedroom had its own flatscreen TV. This is going to be our go-to venue from now on!

Aptos Stay
The property is recently updated and done very well. It had plenty of space for our family gathering. The Kitchen was stocked well which made it easy to Stay in and BBQ one of the evenings. The only suggestion would be to add screens to all the windows. Without them we could not open the bedroom windows in the evening for fresh air without getting eaten alive by mosquitos and bugs. We would visit again.

Stunning home in wonderful location
The house was immaculate and beautifully remodeled as of the end of last year. We appreciated every design detail. They really did an amazing job.
One thing we liked best was being able to open the sliding glass doors upstairs and the open feeling it gave between the deck, kitchen, and living room. It was a great space for a large family group (4 adult couples plus one baby). It was really nice to have two full bathrooms for each bedroom downstairs. The master bathroom shower upstairs is gorgeous, although it is shared with the second bedroom upstairs (or they shared one of the downstairs showers). It was great to have that extra half bath upstairs too, though. We also loved the close beach access (less than five minutes to the Seacliff Beach Gate stairs) and peekaboo ocean views from the house. Safeway and coffee shops (and a Marianne's ice cream!) were also only 3 minutes down the road.
A few notes would be:
1. The main TV upstairs kept turning off and on while we were watching the Warriors basketball game. It was to the point that everyone went to their own rooms in the house to watch on separate TVs, which was not ideal for being able to watch all together in the best area of the house, but at least it was nice that there were so many options.
2. The first bedroom downstairs had a very loud, squeaky bed, where my husband and I stayed. I would not want to stay in that bed again.
3. We had a 1 year old with us and we kept a close watch on her upstairs, but it would be an extra plus if the house had a baby gate to put at the top of the stairway.
Overall, we truly had a wonderful time and we were so grateful to spend it in such a stunning home with our family.

Overall good stay, but could have been better
We loved the front balcony and top floor but the bathroom is pretty small up there. The bathroom downstairs is much larger and better for showering off the kids. The kids room was really great and the guest room downstairs was nice also. The beds were all very comfortable as well. The only thing we would complain about is that the outside of the house (balcony, railings, deck, backyard) were not kept up well and there were cobwebs everywhere and the backyard was a complete mess with weeds and leaves and dirt and dying plants, etc. We would have expected the place to have been landscaped regularly but it is clearly not at all. Would have been nice if someone could have at least swept these areas before we arrived, which it was clearly not. We didn't use the backyard at all. It's a nice walk to the stairs towards the beach so we can't complain about location at all. We walked to dinner our last night and had some great Mexican food. Location was great! We couldn't use the TV because there was a parental lockout code on it so we called the rental company to ask for help and they said they would contact the owners for assistance but never got back to us during our entire 5 night stay. Very annoying. Overall we had a great time, but i think for the price we will look for a house that is more modern and cleaner next time.
