Wake-up spectacular sunrises and enjoy your vacation in this peaceful and uncrowded Caribbean Reef condo, located right on the Mayan Riviera beach, less than 100 feet from the Caribbean. This newly remodeled (2018) condo is unique among other condos in that your view and access to the beach are completely unobstructed and you have a large modern infinite edge swimming pool for your enjoyment. As you look over the infinite edge it blends into the Caribbean giving the illusion that you are in the ocean.
The beach in front of Caribbean Reef consists of soft white sand and the water is shallow, gradually becoming deep--it is perfect for swimming and wading.
The Puerto Morelos location offers convenient access to authentic Mexican cuisine in the many restaurants, as well as a fresh food market, a daily fresh seafood market, and grocery store.
There are many ancient Mayan ruins and beautiful Yucatan cities to visit as well as tourist attractions and golf courses nearby for your exploration and enjoyment.
If you desire the excitement of Cancun or Playa del Carmen, they are just a short car, bus or cab ride away. After exploring the sites, escape back to rest, quiet and relaxation at Caribbean Reef. The condo has been updated with a new décor and natural cedar doors. It is a second floor unit and has two bedrooms for privacy: the master bedroom has a king-size bed and view of the Caribbean and the guest bedroom has a queen-size bed and a view of the mangrove forest. Each has its own bathroom and shower. The condo is perfect for two couples or a family with two or three children.

Since 2018 there has been more sargassum weed than usual affecting beaches of the Caribbean. It comes and goes sporadically and its arrival cannot be predicted. Our staff cleans the beach daily, however, there may be days when it cannot all be removed. Please enjoy swimming during your stay in our beautiful, large and newly renovated swimming pool. The pool is not affected by the sargassum weed.

Property absolutely meet all expectations! The view to the ocean and the pool and the balcony were awesome. Only downside was the seaweed on the beach. We highly recommend this property to anyone wanting peace and tranquility for a restful vacation.

We loved the views from the balcony and the serenity of the location since it’s not too close to downtown. Beds are comfortable and kitchen is well equipped for cooking! When we first arrived we worried about the seaweed in the ocean and the little access our kids had to swim in the beach but the swimming pool, the calm environment and unique wild life we experienced made it one of my favorite trips with my family. We’d love to come back!

Room was well kept and nice, property had some problems but spoke to the property manager and it was taking care the next day. Beautiful pool and ok beach.

Owners were very helpful and communicative leading up to the trip. As expected, Arlene the property manager greeted us as we pulled into the property (even though we were a couple hours later than expected), showed us to parking and our unit. The condo is spacious and well kept - only a small problem with ants in the kitchen which is not unexpected in a climate like that and easily remedied by ziplocs and fridge for food. The pool and the view from the deck are the best parts and exactly what we came for. I would say the walk to town on the road is a bit hot/long, but doable. We had a car which made it an easy hop into town and parking was available/easy. We always felt safe and were able to throroughly enjoy our trip. Highly recommend the Burger Underground in town for a meal - did not disappoint.

We loved this place! Everything was just as it looked in the pictures. Neighbors and staff were very friendly. Sitting at the pool is just like being at the beach because it's so close to the water. We can't wait to come back.

Lovely view—wave noise which I love. Comfortable apartment. Complex has good management. Any problems were solved. Staff works hard to clear sargasso, but beach has it.

Our family of four loved our 9 day stay at this condo. Your first impression starts with fantastic owner interactions and a great info pack. But when you arrive... the well maintained landscaping and tranquil setting immediately put you at ease. Then you enter the condo and the view makes you gasp.
While there the amazing Arlen helped us with everything on property and her husband Pedro was our excellent taxi driver.
We enjoyed snorkeling from the property and eating almost daily at Playa Jaguar next door. The master view and room is amazing. The bathroom is not en suite to master but rather in hall just two steps from master. The smaller guest room has ensuite bathroom so keep that in mind. Our son used the murphy bed and it was very comfortable.
The walk to town is not on the beach but rather on a road with limited to no sidewalks. Depending on your travel experience you may prefer car rental or taxi. Grocery stores have anything you need. Honestly just follow owners detailed info pack and all your questions will be answered.
We highly recommend this property and would be delighted to stay again.

Second time staying here, suffice to say we enjoyed everything about this unit the same as the first time. The ocean front situation, the fantastic infinity pool, the well appointed apartment and the very pleasant staff led by Arlene make for an unmissable vacation stay.

This is a wonderful location just out of town. This year we rented bikes and loved it! We like the small town atmosphere and friendly towns people. Just wish we could get into the ocean but the infinity pool was right on the beach so was just as good, no sand and plenty of chairs. The room is clean and nicely decorated. This was our 2nd stay at this location. Very responsive staff.

The property is everything it says it is. We rarely needed anything, but when we did, it was addressed quickly. We'd definitely stay again.

The unit was very tastefully decorated. Beds were super comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped. But since there is no cable/satellite TV netflix is available but you need an account on order to watch it.
Also, you will need shower soap and shampoo. Other than those trivial things, we thoroughly enoyed our stay. Arlene was super helpful. She's a ball of dynamite.

Nothing described in this condo was accurate. You are not able to sit or lay on the beach. There are no chairs except one broken plastic one. The properties on either side are vacant and filled with garbage. You are not able to walk to the town by beach. You can walk to town on the road, however it is dangerous. Small barely 2 lanes, drivers are not careful, off the side is marsh/lagoon with crocodile/large reptiles. It is not 5-7 min walk as description says. The master bedroom bed has a large lump in the middle of the bed. The sheets were so worn and scratchy I had to ask for new ones. (That was a first for me). The furniture in the living room was comfortable for about 10 mins. There was no hot water in the kitchen or bathroom sinks. We had to take a bowl to fill in the shower to wash dishes. The oven did not close completely ( installed incorrectly) so food didn’t cook and heated the room. The pool was only cleaned twice in our 8 day stay which was dirty after 2 days. The landscaper cut the lawn (it was in desperate need when we arrived) and left all the clippings all over the grounds and pool area. There were 4 umbrellas for shade, two of which did not work. The chairs were worn falling apart and covered in bird poop. Yes, they supply tv, however, don’t hold your breath to get it to work, and you can only use if you have Netflix or prime account of your own. They do say they provide DVD players, one was broke and they had about 10 movies. The first day we were there we were accosted while at the pool area by a lady demanding why were we there and if we were staying there and where. So rude. The family that lives on the end has small children that played/screamed at the pool while unsupervised and the son rode his scooter on the outside of the edge of the pool while continuing to circle around and around the entire pool area. The town is not a ‘small fishing village’. It is just as commercialized as Cancun. Constantly harassed to buy at every step. We could not wait to leave!!!!! The price was high, especially with no maid service. Head to Akumal, do not stay here.

The condo had everything we needed for our week stay in Puerto Morelos. The kitchen was well appointed, and we enjoyed the patio and the beautiful view of the ocean and the pool was just wonderful! We had several delicious meals at the beach restaurant next door. I do think the condo could use some updated furniture in the main bedroom, but as is we still slept comfortably and had what we needed. The condo is a very short 3 minute drive to the main square, the grocery store, and restaurants. We had a wonderful time and would certainly stay at this condo again.

Great Stay
Great oceanfront property on the Riviera Maya with an infinity pool separating the building from the Sea. Small building, very comfortable and clean condo unit. Special mention to Arlene and her team who made our stay very pleasant and impressed us on a daily basis with their fight to keep the beach clear of the dreaded Sargasso.

Paradise Getaway
This beachfront property and the second floor condo unit were fantastic! Breathtaking view of the pool, sand and surf. Perfect distance from Puerto Morelos to enjoy dining out and shopping! Everything you need and more to enjoy a week in paradise! Highly recommend!

Beautiful getaway.
This was a beautiful place. With the exception of the neighbors next door, it was a quiet, clean peaceful, and relaxing place for us. Not too far from anything. We loved the area and will be back.

This place is immaculate
Not only does this condo look exactly like the pictures it was immaculately clean. The appliances are top of the line, beautiful countertops and the beds are so comfortable it makes it hard to get out of bed some mornings. One is the best views from a balcony I've ever seen, and I've seen a few. The pool is GIGANTIC, clean, and lots of fun. By far the thing that most impressed me was the high speed internet. I've been traveling all around Mexico and have yet to see speeds this fast. The condo staff is amazing and some of the hardest woekers I've ever seen. Next time I'm in Puerto Morelos it's not even a question of where I'll stay!

Outstanding
This condo is as advertised. We were greeted by Arlene and able to check in early. We were coming up from Akumal so would have a lot of time on our hands. We were traveling with my Brother and Sister in law. The pool was awesome and we basically had it to our selves as it is low season and not as many visitors. The beach was nice but lots of sea grass (sargassum) which I knew about prior to booking this time of year. Arlene and Fernando tried to keep removing sea grass everyday but it is a massive task. Such hard working people. They provided whatever you needed. The walk to town is little less than a mile. Cute town. You can also rent Bikes. The ocean views were breathtaking. I will definitely return.

Welcoming Experience!
Best pool in Puerto Morelos! We met some owners of some of the other units and everyone was very welcoming. Our kids played together in the pool. The villa was open and brilliant views of the sea.

Great experience at this condo. Beautiful unit, friendly staff and great security. Hardly anyone on the beach although this is a covid year. Nice pool area , everything very neat and clean. Rented a car and got around town easily. Lots of places to eat.

Perfect quiet getaway

We booked Deb and Mike’s place specifically for some quiet relaxation after a stressful 2020. We were not disappointed.
The property itself is a hidden gem in Puerto Morelos. Just a quick 15 min walk into town, it’s down a very quiet gated road. While it’s not exactly a comfy walk at night (not lit and no sidewalks) we were happy to walk into town for dinner and take an inexpensive taxi home afterwards once it’s dark. Taxis are everywhere.
In town, lots of cute shops and fantastic food. Grocery store is new and has anything you’d need.
Inside the condo, we had tons of space to spread out and a gorgeous view. The property is quiet 24/7 and very safe. The pool is clean and sparkly at all times.
Arlene, the property manager is there for anything you need as well.
Totally recommend this property for anyone visiting Puerto Morelos. Enjoy!

Disappointing
When I booked this property I was very clear in my questions as to the beach and water, as my husband and I usually go to the west coast of Mexico every year but decided to change since the Pacific Ocean is not great for swimming due to rip tides etc. we love to go for walks on the beach, and swim as we are very active. Sitting around the pool for hours a day with no opportunity to exercise and breathe in some fresh air is not our idea of a great vacation This is the only time we get to have a vacation. We were looking forward to swimming in the Carribean where the water is blue and clear. Not the case! There is a seaweed called “Sargassum” that is washing up on the shore in vast quantities, smelling like sewage!! The condo is nice and so is the pool and the owner was nice enough to give us a partial refund, but our vacation was ruined and I counted the days til I could go home. No walks on the beach, no swimming in the ocean and a disgusting stench as you lay by the pool. I Should have been told of this problem. I would not have chosen to come here and fly for 3 to 4 more hours then it would’ve taken me to just go back where we usually went on the West Coast. We were told by other owners and people in town that this problem has been going on for 2 years, as it is commonly known by everyone here. Staff are all very kind and helpful as possible. Even though they spent most mornings shoveling tons of this disgusting sewage off the beach it didn’t really help. Either side of the property continues to have tons of this sea weed build up every day along with plastic and garbage from the ocean. Disappointing to say the least. Be aware and do your research as this problem seems to be affecting the entire Caribbean.

wonderful stay
The location was absolutely great; the place was clean and beautiful. The staff were very welcoming and responded quickly to every request. Easy to get to town (rented bikes, took the taxi and even rented a car for a couple of days). Can't walk to town on the beach, but that's why it was so peaceful there.
Puerto Morelos has great restaurants that are authentic and not stuffy. Amazing seafood. The condo had a great sense of community and we felt safe throughout. Don't stay here. Save it for us. :)

Perfect place to relax
We really enjoyed our stay at this property, a perfect place to relax and unwind. The town of Puerto Morelos is currently under construction so getting around was a little inconvenient but the taxi service is great and readily available. The CRV property is lovely, as are the people who take care of the facility. I hope we get a chance to visit again in the future.
