Clayoquot Calm is located on 1 acre of private, peaceful, oceanfront property that overlooks the stunning views of Browning Passage in Clayoquot Sound. This custom designed 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom, one level, spacious home easily accommodates families and groups who enjoy vacationing together and is accessible to those with mobility issues. Ideally located within walking distance (1km) from the village of Tofino and within 5km of world-renowned surfing beaches like Chesterman Beach, Cox Bay and Long Beach, Clayoquot Calm provides safe, easy access to either experience via the MUP (Multi Use Path) accessed right at the end of our driveway.

Whether strolling into town or biking to the beaches, Clayoquot Calm is sure to enhance an idyllic west coast experience.
From the instant you walk in the door, our uniquely designed home welcomes you with breath taking waterfront views of Browning Passage from the living room, dining room as well as the master bedroom. Once inside, the open floor plan leads you through the living room with a wood-burning fireplace into the gourmet style kitchen. Off the kitchen, through beautiful, double patina fir doors, you find a games room that offers a fully equipped pool table and a large indoor sauna completely finished in cedar.
To enjoy the awe inspiring views outdoors, step out the glass French doors, between the dining and living rooms, onto the large concrete patio. Once there, have a seat in a handmade cedar chair to take in the amazing view while you deep breathe the fresh west coast air.
From the covered portion of this extensive patio, a 5 person hot tub, easily accessed from the living room, or master bedroom and ensuite, offers "apres-surf" or evening relaxation -- yet another soothing, relaxing venue from which to drink in the intoxicating phenomena that is the west coast.
Once you experience the rejuvenating magic of this idyllic retreat that is Clayoquot Calm, two things are certain: you will want to extend your stay and you will definitely need to return!!

Gorgeous property in a quiet, tranquil setting away from the touristy, busy parts of Tofino and the beach strip, but easily accessible to them. Craft brewery and distillery within an easy walk. Lovely views of Meares Island over the water. We thoroughly enjoyed our family stay.

This home is located a short walk or bike ride to town, and on the inlet. It is very peaceful and quiet while being very convenient to all the best beaches and activities. It had nice amenities, and we especially enjoyed the hot tub and view.

Home, especially the location, was fantastic. We enjoyed using the pool table, sauna, and hot tub, which has such a beautiful view. Plenty of space for us to spread out and relax while not out and about enjoying nature. Saw a bear and a bald eagle from the house too.

I stayed here with my husband and 2 year old and also our parents. We all had a great time and the house was a great size for the 6 of us. The views were stunning and sitting out on the patio was especially lovely. We also encountered a bear twice which was very exciting! The house is very close to Tofino and is a great base for the local area. We would definitely stay here again next time we visit.

Clayquot Clam was just as its name implies. The first thing I noticed was that the property was exactly like the photos - so often when you get somewhere it looks little like the photos; not so Clayquot Calm. We were a party of eight, my husband and I and our three adult children and their partners - all love water, all love nature and all loved this property. We were on a family trip to revisit Tofino where we had a wonderful family vacation in March of 1996. A lot was riding on this property of Louise and Phil’s. My family agreed that I had hit it out of the ballpark when I selected their place. Where else can you experience a fairy-like path to the beach! Such a beautiful setting in which to create new family memories that we will dine out on during the cold winter back in Ontario. Thank you Louise and Phil!

Such a nice place with great views away from the noise but close to everything. The layout of the house is great and it feels so roomy with the skylights and high ceilings. The perfect place for families to come for a few stress free days!

This was the perfect place to stay and go surf everyday. Close to rental and downtown, lots of space to cook, sleep, and soak. Everything was simply just peachy! We would go back there again, and we are now 5 rested dads ready to go back home to our family, fully rejuvenated! Thank you!

Great location near the brewery and distillery, not far from town. Lovely view of the inlet, surrounded by trees. Terrific amenities like the undercover hot tub, the sauna, the billiards table, and the sound system made our stay very enjoyable. Lots of room for family meals and fun.

Stayed at the property while in town for a wedding. Everything was excellent. The layout was great for six of us. The hot tub/pool table/sauna were all so nice to have when back at the house. The stereo/speakers throughout is very cool. The heated floors were very nice and there were plenty of towels. Kitchen had everything. We would definitely stay here again when back in Tofino. 100% recommend. Thanks for having us.

Wonderful stay at this amazing property! We took of all of the amenities…the hot tub, sauna and we had many rounds of pool. We enjoyed nature and the great restaurants in Tofino. We made great family memories!

We had a lovely time here and hope to come back soon one day! The beds are very comfortable and views are special. The hot tub and sauna were much appreciated. We also made use of the kitchen, it is well stocked for those who enjoy cooking. The host were easy to contact and responded promptly. The only thing to note is when you are driving in the dark it can be difficult to see the Board Medic sigh/house number turnoff so be careful and drive with caution when you are close. Thank you so much!

This is the 2nd year we stayed at Louise and Philip's house, and once again, it did not disappoint. Their home is right on the inlet, with beautiful views of. The house is very bright, clean and well stocked. They even mark all the cabinets and drawers with the items inside. Have fun playing the numerous games, Pool or a relaxing hot tub or sauna. Louse is extremely communicative and quick to get back to you with any questions or concerns. Highly recommended!!

Excellent location with beautiful sunrises. Definitely bring bicycles if you can. The bike paths are very convenient and safe to go to the beach or into town. It was quiet and the home had everything we needed.

We had the most amazing stay at this beautiful home The listing and photos do not do it justice! Spacious comfortable and super clean with everything you could possibly need for your stay all clearly marked We enjoyed the garden immensely and the secret path t0 the most idyllic beach well just made it for us. Our stay was everything we imagined and more! The location of this property was owed t for biking or walking into Tofinos main strip for shopping. The location had breathtaking views and easy access to the ocean for long walks finding crabs and shells during low tide! The comforts of the house we were impressed with; beds to linens, to all the fun amenities like enjoying a Hot tub, sauna, playing games like pool and crib. Thanks for the wonderful stay! Really loved this special week again here at Clayoquot Calm, it truly does “calm” us all!! This was a truly amazing week with family, the weather was superb and the Perseid meteor shower was spectacular watching on a blanket right from the back yard!! We love cooking together here and biking right out the front door!! So much fun, and so close to all amenities, we have made this an annual event!!

My siblings and I visited Tofino to celebrate one of our birthdays. We have stayed before in other rental homes. But this particular home was outstanding for the following reasons: House was spacious so lots of room for each person to have their own privacy if needed. Kitchen was spacious and each drawer was labelled! The four of us could cook together and not get in each other's way. The location is ideal. Close to the village of Tofino. Backyard is extensive and overlooks a bay. There is a trail that leads to the water. Very quiet. Oftentimes once we did one activity for the day, we were very happy to return to the house and enjoy the scenery and amenities. Louise, one of the owners always replied promptly. We highly recommend this home, and we hope to return again next summer.
