We absolutely loved our stay on Serenity Lake. We had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Plenty of room and outdoor space. Wonderful lake for fishing and swimming. Saw deer, turtles, snakes, and rabbits. Very private. Enjoyed a soak in the hot tub. Brian was a great host.

We greatly enjoyed our family weekend at the cottage. The hosts were friendly and responsive, and the lake was perfect for many hours of water fun. The house fit our large group comfortably. Thank you!

Had a reunion with most of our children. It was a very nice relaxing time. My husband and I loved watching all the kids and grandkids enjoy the lake, swimming, kayaking, etc. right from the front porch. we had perfect weather. Fishing was ok, didn’t catch many though. The lake was smaller than we expected but still great for canoeing, kayaking, etc. it was nice that they had the water toys (kayakes, splash pad, canoes, etc, available for us to rent. My grandkids loved seeing the snacks!

We had a family graduation out in Wisconsin and I needed a place to fit our kids and grandkids! Was so happy to find this cute place on the lake with plenty of room for everyone to sleep! Everyone enjoyed the space, using the hot tub and the beautiful view! I liked that no one else could get into the property as it was gated. We so wish we could have stayed longer! Our host were amazing and Brian was reachable by text if we had any questions! Would love to come stay longer in the future!

Hatfield was a central location for three generations to meet and celebrate Christmas. Brian was very accommodating; the home was decorated for Christmas including a tree. The hiking trail around the lake was beautiful. Thank you for sharing your snake collection and for the wonderful conversation.

Me and my friends enjoyed coming up for the weekend at this location. I heard nothing but the best news from the guests, they loved the location, they loved the cabin and the lake, and they enjoyed every second we spent there.

The quiet and serene feel of this property is what it's all about. We enjoyed kayaking, canoeing, fishing, swimming and using the float pad. Using the firepit and grill made this whole experience one of being outdoors. The set up with the double bunks in the basement meant our whole family had sleeping space.

We had a very nice time at the property. Brian was very attentive to our needs and inquiries. There were 12 adults and 7 kids that stayed and we had more than enough room. The fishing was very fun for the kids and the property is close to a beach for tubing and skiing.

The kids loved swimming and fishing and the hot tub. The house was amazing with so much room we did not feel crowded at all. The only thing that would have made it the perfect place is the yard isn't as big and with a lot of stumps it was hard for the kids to do run around. The kids also loved the snake exhibit.

We have enjoyed and relaxed our stay . The Serenity Lake view was so nice. The owner name Brian was very nice and so his wife Ann. We were always asked if we got everything what we needed and wanted. Overall it was a great stay. Thank you Brian and Ann 😊

Great place to stay! Dining table was a bit sticky and the table in the garage had some sort of animal hair on it. Seemed like dog hair of some sort but we cleaned it off so no biggie. Kids loved the swimming and couldn't stay out of it. The lock to the back Is broken but we pushed the couched to block it to feel safe. Wifi was not the greatest for us and phone service didn't go well but I guess it's good to be away from our smartphones once on awhile. Brian came to the house quite a bit to check up on things and his snake collection was awesome! Out of all, it was an awesome weekend that I wouldn't mind doing again. Thanks Brian for all your patience and help!

Great location, space, and amenities. We loved being so close to the water, enjoyed the walking trails, had fun playing volleyball, and also the snakes were an added bonus. Everything was great and Brian was an excellent host and very friendly! We definitely want to come back and give it 5 out of 5 stars. The only tiny thing that could have been better, is just not having people working around cabin until after the check out time. Other than that....it was a place I would highly recommend and an owner who our exceeded expectations.

We had a very relaxing vacation which is exactly what we were looking for. The kids enjoyed the lake and the fishing as well as the hot tub. We had 4 families and there was more than enough room for everyone. We would go back again.

Everything is great, but the only down fall was the back porch door. It was broken and wasn’t able to be lock. The bathroom door in the master bedroom is broken. The hot was also broken and we didn’t get a chance to enjoy that. Overall, my family and I had a great time .

Our family reunion could not have gone any better. The property is beautiful and the lake was amazing. Brian was always very quick to answer my questions. I loved the open concept. Beds were clean and neat. Our stay was wonderful.

The House and Property were both in good order. Communication with the owner was excellent. All in all, it was a great weekend, Devin would recommend

Overall, the property was clean, and large enough to hold all 14 of the people who came. It was on an awesome little getaway, and we were surrounded by nature. The only troubles I had, and I mean it quite lightly, was the "pre-check" process. I have rented vacation houses a few times, and generally the process is super simple. You pay, and you're ready. However, this property had a separate liability insurance form that each member had to fill out, or be charged an extra $500. This would probably not be a problem for any family, or work group, but for my friend group of 14 who all live in different houses/apartments and many of which had no access to a scanner, this process was quite a hassle. Again, not a big deal, just something I wanted to mention.
Otherwise, the property was great, and served my friends and I well.

Got together with a group of friends and this place was great. Spacious open concept with beds for everyone. It rained which made the hot tub a hit! Great communication from the owner Brian - super nice guy.

We have 19 in our family and this place has it all for the goat to the huge home we all had enough space to run and play. We cooked a lot and had all sizes of pots and pana bowla cookies sheets. The best things out kids liked was the dishwasher. They don't have that at home. Thanks

My family and I had a wonderful experience and stay! Our host was very responsive to our needs, accomodating and very personalable. The surrounding area was wonderful and peaceful -everything that you would need to getaway from the city! We came during the winter season and our family had a wonderful time. We can't wait to see what the summer season has in store. Prior to leaving, our family enjoyed Brian's snakes exhibits and was one of our highlights. Thank you so much!

This property has it all! We were greeted by the host Brian right as we entered through the gates. The lodge was all set up for our check in and it had plenty of rooms and beds for our group. Everything was clean and in good condition. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to cook our meals, in addition to the charcoal grille outside. Brian even went so far as to throw in additional boats for us to use since some of our group backed out at the last minute. We will definitely book again for our next year's trip!

We had a blast, the water is very close to the cabin, so the kids could be in it, while we enjoyed ourselves on land. Brian and his daughter taught us all about snakes and let the kids hold them. Elvis (the goat) is friendly and the kids loved him.
2.5 / 5.0
We loved the idea that all of us were able to stay together in one cabin. The grandchildren really enjoyed fishing in the lake. Although our first thought was Ranger riding but there were so many other things to do everyone enjoyed themselves especially holding the snakes.
