I'm so grateful to have booked this condo last minute. The pool, hot tub, and sauna made me feel like I was at a spa. The condo itself was very comfortably appointed. We had a great time and will definitely come back.

The condo is so conveniently located in Government Camp and an easy jumping off point for winter fun! The place was thoughtfully furnished and rooms were very comfortable. Worth noting that walls are pretty thin and with shared walls you just need to be aware that neighbor noise travels. But we had an awesome stay and would highly recommend to anyone looking to explore the area or just enjoy a cozy weekend in.

This is one of my favorite buildings at Collins Lake Resort. The unit it well appointed, the kitchen is well stocked (except for teaspoons?) and a nice variety of spices for those chef-types. There was plenty of comfortable seating, and the beds were comfortable. We really appreciated the extra pool/hot tub towels provided!

Very clean, beds and showers were great, we enjoyed our time there.

We stayed as my son had a ski camp at MT Hood. Government Camp is a sweet spot and the condo fit all of our needs. Thanks so much!

Hello. The stay was wonderful. However I left my hair dryer in the master bathroom. How can I go about retuning it

We had a nice couple of days at the mountain, but here are a “wish I knew before I went” items for this unit:
- There are no extra spices (no salt) in the unit.
- The dishes in the cabinets were not clean
- There is no basic cable (if you are planning on watching the Olympics)
- two car garage is nice, but the garage is super narrow. A big SUV does not fit.

Well kept condo, very comfortable, adjacent to path around Collins Lake which is a gorgeous short hike, and right in town convenient to all shops, bars and eateries. The on-site property managers are loathe to help vrbo or vacasa renters. Wifi did not work, which frustrated me at first, but then forced me to have a vacation, so that's kind of a plus. Bring your personal hotspot to fix that and you will enjoy this property.

The condo is spacious enough but the deck was so filthy that you had to bring your shoes outside and wear them or your feet were black the condo needs a new paint job inside lots and lots of paint coming off the walls and new pots and pans would be great but otherwise I liked it

Unfortunately I don’t think the property management group is doing a great job here. The place is pretty worn. Upon attempting to grill the first night the grill completely lit on fire- who knows the last time it was cleaned. Grease pan below overflowing. Obviously this is a hazard. We notified the management that day- no follow up. Meaning we couldn’t use the grill the whole time. The main level powder sounds like a pipe is going to burst every time you flush the toilet. Some furnishings are literally falling apart. Found old empty alcohol bottles in dresser drawers. Little things like scissors and trash bags not there. Just overall (and for the price) it seems like it isn’t being maintained well.

Comfortable and convenient
We had a great stay. Layout and location are pretty ideal for a little family snow getaway. And it was great to have the indoor garage for the unexpected high snowfall! Plus happy to see that the Collins Lake Resort roads get plowed promptly. Beds were comfy, & we loved the rainfall showerhead in the master shower.

So cozy! Perfect location!
My husband and I brought our family of 6 here for a weekend of skiing. It was so close to the slopes and walking distance to the little town which was perfect. While it is a townhome it was still very quiet. I absolutely loved the amount of space I had in the kitchen and there was no shortage of tools or utensils. The beds were very comfortable! I loved that there was enough seating space for everybody comfortably in the living room and enough room around the kitchen table. When you have this many people having a third bathroom is key so we appreciated having one on the main floor Also be aware there are quite a few stairs. One from the garage up to the main living level as well as another set to get to the bedroom level Well this offers access to the pool and hot tub this really wasn’t a stand out feature. The hot tub is very small and truly can only accommodate a few people so having an open to the community was kind of a downfall. We just chose not to access these services. Overall I would stay here again. I really look forward to our next trip!

Weekend
This property was as advertised. The check in process was easy, the house clean and fit our family well. We were happy to be able to bring our dog. A few things were frustrating and would probably prevent us from renting again. The fridge froze most of our food and ruined produce. Not having coffee filters was a real bummer. The fireplace never worked. The TV was not adequately supported by the internet. It eventually stopped altogether. We tried to call the number posted for help, nobody answered the phone. The queen bed upstairs was so uncomfortable we lost a night's sleep. The broken chair in the living room almost caused an injury. The main floor toilet runs. On Saturday night the neighbors caused continuous noise until 10 pm. Running, stomping, banging walls, screaming, singing all very loud. We called the front office; they came to help but we were told that the guests had until 10 pm to be quiet. Our information said 9 pm. Your place is lovely. It needs a little attention and if you say a kitchen is fully stocked be sure to inform your guests to bring coffee filters.

Bad customer service for lost and found
The property was great - the lost and found process (with Vacasa) has been a terrible experience. Vacasa stated they have the item, however when taking time to drive back to the property to pick it up, it was not available. It's been me calling and emailing to try and sort this out..... very disappointing and frustrating experience. At this point, without the item recovered, I likely will not use this service again and will need to share my experience with others as a warning.

Close and Comfy
We stayed for a wedding on Mt. Hood and this was a perfect location with everything we needed. One notable issue was the heat was difficult to control, especially upstairs-it was roasting! We did forget an item and Vacasa charged us $25 just for their time to arrange for pick up, yet the local Vacasa crew had no idea we were coming at the arranged date and time! We called the phone number on the window, talked to the nice gal and waited 30 minutes for someone to arrive. Very frustrating....

Functional but worn
This place is in need of some serious updates. The carpet is worn and covered in spots, presumably from pets as my dogs went crazy about the smells. The walls all need repainting and the furniture has wear, rips and stains on every single piece. While we loved the 3 bathrooms, the toilets didn’t flush well. The kitchen has a lot of appliances and dishes but was lacking spoons. There were only 3 total.
The grounds were great. We enjoyed the trails nearby for hiking and biking. The pool and hot tub were great too. We liked where this unit was situated as it felt more private from the deck. If you are traveling with someone that can’t do many stairs, I’d skip these condos as they have several flights to navigate.

Wonderful stay
We had a wonderful time at Government camp. The condo was great for dogs as it was very close to a walking trail. It was well stocked and every light switch was labeled which was a lot of help.
The blinds in the upstairs were a little damaged and didn't work well or too difficult for me to figure out. We still managed to open the windows but could never pull the blinds up. Not a deal breaker for us. We will stay here again.

Great base camp!
Wonderful townhouse. Loved that we could stoll into Government camp for coffee and also walk to Mt. Hood Brewing and the adventure park. Mirror Lake trail head is also really close by. We used the townhouse as our base and ventured out to Astoria, Cannon Beach, Mt. Rainier National Park, Mt. St. Helens and Crater Lake National Park. We also spent plenty of time hiking on Mt. Hood and ventured to play in the mid-July snow abouve the timberline! It was little wierd during the pandemic but all in all a wonderful trip and a welcome reprieve from the craziness in the world at the moment. The townhouse was very spacious, well equiped, clean and comfortable. The deck with forest views and grill were great and we loved the cool July temps of upper 30's and lower 40s in the morning!

Very cozy home away from home. We were bummed that they cancelled Mount Hood Meadows for the rest of the season but still managed to enjoy the weekend in this lovely place.

Chef’s chalet
The home is very well decorated with comforts of home. Location is great, we enjoyed the walk around the lake. Thank you for being pet friendly!!!!
Kitchen is fully stocked, not sure why these homes never have salt and pepper....
I know it’s hard at times to keep the temperature even through the house, especially when the bedrooms are on the 3rd floor. The bunk room does not have a window so there was no way to cool down the room.
We appreciated all the light switches being labeled so we didn’t have to guess what they were for.
I would rate this home a 4.5 out of 5!
This is a great place and we will definitively be back!

Great stay
Our family enjoyed our stay. The condo set up is excellent, we loved the three layers with the garage, living space and then bedrooms. Having access to the pool and soaking tub was a plus. The internet was a tad spotty but I expected that due to the location. Beds were comfy! All the basics to enjoy your stay plus the area is beautiful. We had a small issue occur, and we called the manager directly. He had it corrected in no time....Thank you!!!! See you next time!

Great stay but be aware of the rates...
Loved the convenience to Govt Camp! Kitchen was fully stocked, very clean and great amenities. Having a garage to pull your vehicle is such a nice bonus when staying everywhere. I am BAFFLED by charging a rate PER PERSON though!? When you sign up, ensure if it is the wife and you to sign up as one person. Even though you only occupy one bed, one set of laundry - you will be charged PER PERSON. Knowing is half the battle, as GI Joe says. Since I needed a place to stay for a 50 mile race nearby, after I got in off the waitlist, all other options were booked, including reservable camp sites. Wonderful place, but $400 for a night when arriving at 6 pm, and leaving at 3:00 am is really steep for us working stiffs! Also should note, that upon entering the unit, you must go up a set of stairs to the main area and the bedrooms are up another set (just a note to those less mobile). Great communication leading up to the actual stay.

Lovely home, terrible Vacasa service
I would strongly encourage the owners of this property to stick to other vacation rental companies to manage their home. The home itself is lovely, but the lack of responsiveness of Vacasa was nothing short of a horror. Upon arrival, the fireplace was broken. I called every hour on the hour for three hours only getting voicemail and finally got a call back from Vacasa, who said a maintenance person would call. An hour later he called and said he was on his way. An hour later and no maintenance man, I called Vacasa again, and again got voicemail. He finally arrived 30 mins after that and fixed the fireplace. The next day I was fixing my family a meal and discovered both the stove and the microwave were broken. Another call to Vacasa, who took FOUR HOURS to return my call, and again said the maintenance person would call. Hours after that, he called, and said he was about to be out of cell range for the rest of the day but had a microwave at his office he could bring over. It was around dinner time at that point and I had to feed my 2 and 4 year olds, so we made alternate plans. The next morning, our check out day, there was a winter storm advisory saying not to drive. I called Vacasa at 8:00 AM asking about a late check out and did not receive a call back until 12:15 PM. Check out was at 11:00 AM and the cleaning service arrived and we left. We use the other home vacation rental services frequently with great experiences and responsiveness. This was shockingly bad.

Nice Unit
The home was clean and comfortable. I stayed there mid-week, so the entire property was very quiet, which was nice. The hot tub and sauna were great after a day of skiing. I had my dog with me and appreciated the dog waste stations throughout the complex. I would definitely stay again.

The condo's kitchen is well equipped. The building the condo is in is probably the best area on the property. The master bedroom backs up to a wooded area which is very nice.
