The house was perfect for all age groups. We loved having the baby gates on the main floor. So much to do right within the home…… for all ages. We rented a boat for 2 days and everyone loved it. Unfortunately, I have bad knees and hips and the trail to the boat dock was too hard for me due to the ruts in the trail. No ones fault just mine. A huge suggestion would be to put shades on skylights as it made everyone wake up so early in those rooms.
Overall a 10+ and we will rent again next year.

The memory maker wasn't just a beautiful house on the lake. Pictures don't do it justice. It was an experience and the perfect setting for bringing our families together.
We were able to create the most vibrant, activity filled weekend for all of our loved ones. Everything from lake activities, movies, swimming and beyond, all packed into the most peaceful, magical setting.

Amazing vacation in a beautiful house. Highly recommended
The house is large enough to comfortably host 6 families with kids. The bedrooms were very spacious, the bathrooms very modern and chic, the entire house was beautifully decorated. The kitchen was large and had every possible tool and plenty of china. The dinning table was large enough for 20people to dine at the same time. The indoor swimming pool had a good size for 10 old kids to play together, the gym and the sauna were an added bonus. The view from the main room is beautiful. The house is located in proximity of the wisp ski resort. We spent only 3 days there and everybody regretted that we had to leave. There are plenty of things to do around the house and in the resort for an unforgettable one week vacation.

Nice property overall with some limitations.
The kitchen, dining and great room layout is ideal. I really like the ability to enter the house on the main level without the need for an elevator or having to climb steps to get to the kitchen area. However, there are a few things renters should be aware of. First, the path down to the water is pretty rough and steep in some places. Seniors may find it difficult or inconvenient to make the trip very often to enjoy the dock and water. It needs to be improved. Second, the property has two separate buildings, with two of the bedrooms located in the second building - a little inconvenient. This is compensated by the fact that the second building has a professional movie theater with 20 reclining seats and a great sound system. In addition, there is a fully-equipped exercise room, sauna, an indoor swimming pool and a complete kitchen. This would be ideal a family of four. The kitchen in the main building is fully equipped with everything you might need. The Master Bedroom on the main floor needs to be remodeled. It has only one sink and a very small area around the sink. The bathroom shower is unacceptable. The bathtub needs to go as it is unusable and takes up way too much floor space. The Master Bedroom and Bath in the second floor has been remodeled and is really nice. The Outdoor Movie behind the outdoor swimming pool is easy to set up and has a great picture and sound. The bar-b-que grill on the patio is really nice, bue the two grills on the deck had empty propane tanks. Not to mind, the grill below the deck was much nicer. Finally, the outside of the main building needs to be cleaned of spider webs, which can be annoying. I would not stay there again unless the path to the dock is improved and the bathroom on the first floor MBR is remodeled.

Loved this house!
Everyone loved staying here! We had plenty of room. The kitchen is so large. We enjoyed the amenities of the sauna, steam room, indoor pool and hot tub, billiards, and movie room. This house is 2 miles from Wisp Ski Resort, too.

Nice but needed a good cleaning
The house & pool house themselves were great! The amenities were great. (Those that worked). We got a lot of use out of the indoor pool & hot tub. The outdoor pool had to be filled Every day so was Never warm enough to use! The kitchen was fantastic for crowds & had everything you could need. The jacuzzis were a real treat. There were a few hiccups we called in but someone came out shortly to fix the problems. The code for the pool house kept jamming & hot to be annoying to get in. The house cleaners were apparently slack...there were Lots of cobwebs, under the coffee table, living room sofa & tv cabinet had not been swept! We found a mans sandal under the couch, a rag in the refrigerator & a woman’s bathing suit top in the washing machine. The rest of the house felt clean except for the cobwebs. We really enjoyed the theater room. The outside of the entire house could use a Good pressure washing! The patio furniture was stained, wet & unusable. There was also broken furniture & odds under the deck. We did, however, have a good time. Just disappointing when you pay that much to stay somewhere (& over $500 was fir the cleaning!!!!). When I turned in my list to the desk I on the way out, I was pretty much ignored.

We booked a large family reunion here this past summer and every guest said they would come back! This house had it all. We literally almost never left. The pool and hot tub were awesome. The lake was warm and quiet because we were on an inlet. We brought a lily pad and spent hours in the lake everyday. There were some small issues in the house (toilet running), some of the cable boxes werent working but they were all quickly attended to. The kitchen was amazing and stocked to the 9s. Beds were comfy. The outside could use a decent power wash and the tubs in the basement could use a more detailed clean. Other than that no complaints and over all would go back in a heart beat.

subpar
My friends and I (25 total) rented Memory maker over the weekend, this is our 4th time renting with Railey Mountain and this year was by far our worst experience. We rent vacation homes quite frequently because we play softball together and based off of my experience there is/should be someone to do a walk through of the home prior to check in, well if someone did a walk through they sure neglected to turn on any of the televisions and see that they werent working, the huge mold stain in the master bedroom bathroom, check the heat, check the chairs in the dining area, see that part of the blinds were visibly hanging, and look at the visible brown stains on the white comforters. In the contract it states that guest must clean up after themselves prior to departure, how are we suppose to clean up without a broom, mop or any other cleaning supplies that should be in the home. As soon as we got settled on Friday I contacted the maintenance hot line which is suppose to be available and was told someone would be right over, 3 hours later still no one, I called again and was told no one was coming, they apologized for someone telling me that and advised they would send someone out in the morning, the morning came, no one, I called again and was told the same thing, the afternoon came, around 2pm someone came out brought two new blankets, space heaters, and he had to light the pilot upstairs for the heat to work, something none of the guest should ever have to do. It is now 5 sick people, one to mention went to patient first on Monday and was sent to the Er, im sure it came from the mold in the home, mold can cause all types of health concerns, a few to mention, wheezing, coughing, and stuffiness, all of which they have. I am extremely disappointed in the home, especially since the cost is substantial for a weekend, I placed a call to the property manager on Monday, left a message and as of today Wednesday, March 3 I have yet to receive a return call, I called again this morning and was told she was off but is very good about calling people back, sure she is. I will contact every person at Railey Mountain until I get this handled.
