My family and I truly enjoyed our stay at this home. We travel a lot, and we were able to really relax - we felt like we were at home! The communication with Camille was top notch, the location was central to everything we hoped, and all of us were super comfortable.
The house is super cute and accommodating for all ages. The written description matched, if not undersold the property.
The neighborhood is incredible. The neighbors are nice, and it was walking distance to Sanders Beach, Tubbs Hill, a great park for kids, and the downtown area. So close to everything, and nevertheless it was quiet and felt tucked away. We enjoyed sitting on the patio and hearing the lake splash up on the beach and the wind blow through the trees.
We highly recommend this family friendly home!

Such a great place!!!!!
So I really want to give this home 1 star but only because it is amazing and as soon as word really gets out, we won’t be able to book it anymore because it will always be full. But that’s selfish. Bottom line, this place is awesome. There are so many personal touches that make this homey. Welcome basket, bottle of wine, toothpaste!!!
The deck and backyard are perfect for breakfast and dinner bookending a busy day of lake play, incredible hiking, biking, relaxing on the beach (which is 1 block away). My wife andI walked to town every morning with our 2 year old to get coffee and enjoy the quiet mornings. It’s a nice easy walk to everything downtown. The location is ideal...what can I say but this is a perfect place for a family or group of friends looking for a great place to spend some time in/on/around CDA. Camille is super responsive and full of good ideas. So while selfishly I want to give it a 1 star, it’s really a 5 star place. Thank you for letting us use your home and enjoy north Idaho.

CDA getaway
Camille's home worked perfectly for our group of 8 for a getaway weekend for the Fourth of July! House is bigger than pictures; the "apartment" in the basement gave us so much room and we comfortably fit 8 adults. The back porch with the big table, the yard, and the outdoor fireplace were great to spread out, and the updated large kitchen was amazing. Lots of pots and pans and spices for us to cook for a big group easily. Its only 1 block from a small public beach and a few blocks from a larger one - plus only 10 minutes to downtown. Definitely recommend Camille's place!

Great home in a great location!
We (3 couples & 1 child) recently stayed at this property over the 4th of July. My son loved the nearby beaches that were a block or two away. We also enjoyed exploring Tubbs Hill, which was a pleasant 1 minute walk away. Lots of fantastic restaurants/bars within walking distance (10-15 blocks) or a short $10 Uber/Lyft ride away. Also, plenty of good stores to stock up on food/drinks for the house. If you plan to be in the area for mountain biking (as we were) or for skiing, this is conveniently located between Schweitzer & Silver. We also did a guided fly fishing expedition through Castaway Fly Fishing located in CDA...what a great trip! Ask for Sage to be your guide...couldn't ask for a better guy to fish with!
Camille was very responsive and helpful with all my questions before and during our stay. Aside from getting the necessary food and drinks for our stay, the house was well stocked with all other misc. items so we never had to go purchase supplies...very thankful for that!
The front porch swing and large deck (with fire pit table) in the backyard were the favorite hangout spots.
I look forward to returning for another memorable family vacation!!

Great location for 1/2 ironman
I had signed up for the CDA 1/2 ironman to celebrate my 60th birthday and found this house for my family and dog. Me, my husband, daughter and her husband stayed at this charming 100 year old home. On the main level is a family room, dining room, kids room with bunk beds, and a room with a queen bed. The upper level had the master bedroom with a balcony and view of the lake, sunset, and the moon at nightfall. The basement has a ‘man cave’ feel with another bedroom, bathroom and TV room. My family was able to walk down the street and see me on the run course of the 1/2 ironman and walk to the city park for the rest of the race. The house is relaxing and comfortable to stay at. The kitchen provides ample room to cook meals and socialize with family. We just had difficulty finding a place to store our non perishable groceries as all the cabinets are full. We had a problem with the basement plumbing and the owners took care of it that night and were very responsive. All in all, we had a fantastic time at this house and love Coeur d’Alene.

Great location and dog friendly!
We really enjoyed our week at this cute home with its lovely remodel. Tubbs Hill hiking was basically next door and a lot of fun with hidden coves to cool off in the water. It’s close to downtown to enjoy great restaurants, live music and various activities there (we did a boat dinner cruise and a seaplane ride). The bike trail is also nearby so we had fun exploring it. It’s always a treat to find a nice house that is also dog-friendly with a fully fenced grass yard and even a dog door. Our biggest disappointment was having to stay on the main floor (no TV there) since our older dog couldn’t make it upstairs to the master suite or downstairs to the TV family room so we missed out of some of the nice features of the house. Camille was super responsive throughout the booking, and even updated the house description based on our feedback about the steep old stairs. As long as no one in your family has mobility issues, this is a great house to choose when visiting Coeur d'Alene!

We had an incredible 5 day stay at this beautiful VRBO! It was great - charming home, central location, ease of working with the owner, just blocks from swimming in the lake, and of course the home is set up well for lots of fun. We enjoyed the deck and fire pit, cooking as a group in the kitchen and, because we were in town to compete in Ironman 70.3, way more lounging on the comfy couches than we should admit. Great place to stay for families or groups, clean, great customer service. We'll be back to make more sweet memories for sure!
