Excellent, lots of room. Everything you need.

We loved the size of the home and location. It is obviously an older home so there are some repairs that need to be done. Even with that, it worked great for our LARGE family!

As always, our stay at the Lodge was amazing! Great kitchen, lots of room for the kids to run around, we love volleyball and basketball. The fire pit is fun. We roasted hot dogs and s’mores. The reservoir is not far away for swimming and kayaking. The host is easy to contact and responds quickly. We even noticed some upgrades since we were here 3 years ago. Very clean and safe. We will definitely be back again.

Finding a large place to hold a family reunion is difficult. This is a great place to take the family, 10 to 15 degrees cooler than St. George....41 showed up and 14 of those were our Great grandchildren.....good times were had by all. And a thanks for the newer LONG table with chairs.

What a great place to meet together for a few days. We had 40+ people and there was plenty of room. There were plenty of beds and the place was stocked with all the kitchen items. It has a little playground for kids, basketball hoop and a stash of other toys. It has two industrial size refrigerators, washer and dryer and two dishwashers. If you’re looking for a great place to stay in a beautiful little town this is it.

We loved it, especially the safety for the children to be free to play together in the yards without supervision. The lodge was perfect for meals and the upstairs was great for the 4 families with small children and babies. We loved the beauty of Pine Valley and surrounding areas. You had a couple of friendly mice who joined us that you might want to get rid of. Your housekeepers need to run the self- cleaning on the oven. They were in need of cleaning when we arrived. Otherwise, the whole experience was wonderful. We were all comfortable and enjoyed our time there very much. Thanks!!

We had 30 adults and 18 kids stay here for a large family reunion. There was a lot of grass space for the kids to play outside and a little playground, ample sleeping beds/space, and an amazing amount of refrigerator space and seating options. We loved the proximity to Snow Canyon. The biggest issue we encountered was a lack of insulation in the upstairs Lodge bedrooms, making it easy to hear any child throwing a tantrum or baby crying at bedtime. We’d consider this place again if we have this many people coming to our reunion again.

We had a great time! The property had more than enough room. We loved how peaceful and beautiful it was. The host was quick to answer questions and give suggestions. The game room and the basketball hoop were well worn, but we still had fun with it. We would definitely come back again!

We loved our stay at Pine Valley Lodge. From the start Jeff was always accommodating and able to answer any questions that we had prior to our stay. The lodge and grounds were clean and this place had lots of parking. We had a group of 55 family members and there was room for all, from the Main Lodge to the individual cabins and more. We can’t wait to plan next years family reunion

We had an amazing time at Pine Valley Lodge, the surrounding area, and the dinner at Brandin' Iron. Jeff was very responsive and helpful all along the way. The lodge was perfect for our needs: cozy, clean, functional, and surrounded by natural beauty! Thanks again!

My husband and I booked the lodge and cabins for our wedding with 25 close family and friends. The Pine Valley Lodge was perfect. We had more than enough room and amenities were everything we needed. It wasn’t fancy by any means, but we didn’t want fancy. We wanted to enjoy nature and have a space to spend together for the long weekend. The kitchen space and bbq areas were especially nice for large gatherings while we cooked and played board games. We loved how much there was to do outdoors - basketball, a huge bonfire pit, and a lot of land and places close by to fish or hike around. I’d definitely recommend.

Older buildings on the property were getting worn down. Pool table had a big rip in the felt.
Everything was working. Roost kitchen had a water seal leak if you used the faucet in the sink, needs to be repaired.

We had our wedding reception at this venue and it worked out great. Most of our guest had their own space and bed. The venue was ideal for our intimate gathering of 50 or so guest. The kitchen was a good centerpiece for people to gather share a drink/food and conversation. Would recommend to anyone wanting a scenic retreat with their loved ones and friends.

The host was very flexible and made all of our plans become reality!!

We had a great weekend for our family reunion. We had people from 5 states and they were so impressed with the facility and the weather! There was plenty for everyone to do. The kitchen is very well stocked with appliances and equipment to prepare huge family meals. We loved the commercial refrigerators and put them to use. We filled the freezer. We had some nieces and nephews even cry when they had to leave to go back to their homes.

Great easy process. House had all necessary amenities, per previous reviews seen we were able to prepare properly for our stay. Landlord communicated fine and went to check the house when there were issues promptly but there was nothing to worry as house is well taken care of. Definitely recommend!

Our family (50 people) had a great time at the lodge. The owner was so helpful and quick to respond to any questions.
Pros:
Space for everybody!
Enough tables and chairs for everyone to sit for meals.
Two ovens and stovetops was wonderful for cooking for a large group.
Two large fridges and a chest freezer in addition to the kitchen fridge was so helpful!
Large gathering room for family meetings, movies and games.
The grounds were spacious. Lots of room for outdoor games.
Large fire pit.
Teens loved having their own cabins.
The pool table and basketball double shot in the game room were a big hit.
The ice cream shop right across the street was so convenient and delicious.
Cons:
Wi-Fi was iffy, but we were warned about that, and it’s to be expected in such a remote place, so not a big deal.
Could use new tips on the pool cues.
Overall we loved our time here. So many wonderful memories made. Thank you!!!

Great place! We had a group of about 50. Plenty of places to sleep, fully stocked kitchen with ample food storage space (fridges and a deep freezer). I would suggest bringing extra pillows and maybe some small fans for the upstairs areas that get hot in the afternoon. The Wi-Fi is rough, but you are in the middle of nowhere so you get what you get! Overall, highly recommend!!

Everything is excellent, the only thing is not being able to listen to music later than 10pm

For our group of 55, the set-up with main lodge, cabins, and separate building with up/down accommodations surrounding a central courtyard was perfect for encouraging interaction. The courtyard has green space, a fire pit, volleyball, basketball court, corn hole, horseshoe pit, playground, and more.
The main lodge has two living room style seating areas, ideal for relaxing and chatting with people. We had rain one day and everyone was able to spend time together, comfortably.
The kitchen in the lodge is spacious and the bar was ideal for serving buffet-style meals. Abundant refrigerator and freezer space and plenty of pans and cooking utensils. Having a washer and dryer was also great for washing towels, etc., throughout the week.
For the best experience, please note the following… Coffee drinkers may want to bring an extra percolator. Do bring your own shampoo, etc., for showering, and bring your own paper goods including extra toilet paper. If there will be guests with accessibility issues, I strongly suggest bringing some suction cup grab-bars for the showers as there are none. Command strips could also come in handy!
Overall, the property was wonderful! There are some small things in need of attention and upkeep, but nothing that detracted from our experience. The biggest issue was that one gas grill was working improperly, but when contacted, the property owner brought over a back-up option right away.

Our family loved staying at the Pine Valley Lodge!! Very clean and had everything our family needed for a great time! Very spacious, We used all of the buildings, Lodge, the Roost and all 7 cabins. We love everything about the Pine Valley Lodge, and highly recommend it to everyone! Plenty of dishes, fridge/freezer space. Comfortable beds, the property is gorgeous!! Every time we stay, someone stops by thinking it is a hotel. Ha! I wish the second dishwasher worked, and there were extra blankets, but those are minor. This is a fabulous place to stay!!!!!!!

It was such an incredible stay and so far our favorite Family Reunion spot! So many things were thought through to make it comfortable.
My mom was impressed with how stocked the kitchen was. She said she has never seen such a stocked kitchen out of everywhere we have been! The fridge/freezer space was AMAZING.
It was quiet and serene. Lots of space to play. Some kids brought scooters and used them all day every day. There is a good circle of sidewalk they can use.
A FEW complaints: The last cabin at the end smelled of skunk the entire time. The pillows weren't amazing on beds (bring your own if you are particular). The tub in our bathroom didn't drain very well so we were standing in water above our ankles.

I am a coordinator for a foreign exchange student organization. A group of coordinators and I organized a trip for our exchange students to see a few National Parks and decided to stay at the Pine Valley Lodge. We were hoping for a place to stay each night because it was less expensive to stay in one place for three nights than three nights in different hotels. I LOVED staying here. We loved the kitchen: two fridges, two ovens, two microwaves, and two dishwashers. There were 11 bathrooms, 11 toilets, and 10 showers! The fire pit was great for sitting around the fire talking and roasting marshmallows for s'mores. Our students enjoyed playing basketball, volleyball, and billiards; we also enjoyed table games in the lodge.
In the lodge, there was plenty of space for us to eat meals together with tables and chairs inside and out. The outside space was beautiful and quiet, in a quiet country/mountain neighborhood. We had beds for 44 people with beds to spare. The property manager was helpful to help us when lights weren't working and when I couldn't find the keys to unlock a bathroom. We did have a mishap with the fridge in the back being left open and lost some food. My students that were in the outside cabins used the four showers, or three bathrooms. They felt they needed more options and shared the bathrooms available in the lodge. Some of us were cold during the first night. After learning how to use the AC/heater, they were fine for the remaining nights. I

Our large family loved staying at the Lodge! We loved the balance of having large shared spaces for eating, playing games, and watching March Madness! We also loved that there were so many ways to "escape" the loud gathering areas and get some quiet in the cabins and even upstairs in the lodge. Perfect balance for a large family gathering. Jeff is a stellar host. We will defintely stay here again!

This was our third year of hosting our annual manager retreat at the Pine Valley lodge, and as always it was a great stay. Plenty of room for everyone to have their own sleeping space, beautiful scenery and outdoor environment, and lots of comfortable space in the lodge for cooking, work meetings, and hanging out. Many people in our group find it fun to sleep in the individual cabins. :) Our group always enjoys our time spent here, and everyone says that they love how it feels like we're in a remote location while still being close enough to our home base of St. George to not have a long drive back and forth. Jeff is always helpful and great to communicate with if you need anything during your stay. Highly recommend!
