Welcome to For My Girls in Seaside, FL- a classic, enchanting beach home on Seaside Avenue that truly captures the essence of coastal living! This lovely home features five bedrooms, amazing outdoor spaces, a fantastic location, and more- making it the perfect spot to create cherished memories at the beach. Featured in the acclaimed book The Coastal Cottage and recognized by as one of the "7 Prettiest Summer Porches" in 2017, this home is a perfect blend of style and comfort.
Upon arrival, guests will be greeted by an open, furnished, private front porch overlooking the beautiful Seaside Avenue. What a warm welcome!
The first floor features an expansive double living area, filled with natural light and ample furnishings. A formal dining area, conveniently located just off the front porch, offers outdoor seating for shared meals and celebrations, creating a delightful atmosphere for communing with loved ones. Nearby, guests can locate a farmhouse-style, fully equipped kitchen, situated adjacent to a screened porch, which provides another outdoor venue, as it is the ideal space for al fresco dining or simply taking in the great outdoors. This level also includes a half bath and a lavish king master bedroom that boasts two full bathrooms.
The second level features a king bedroom, complete with its own porch and full bath, offering a peaceful space for guests to unwind. Two additional queen bedrooms can be found nearby, each featuring private baths. There is also an office area for anyone working remotely or looking to just looking to kick back, relax, and read a good book. Another staircase leads to a bonus loft with two twin beds and a trundle.
One of the standout features of this home is the incredible media screening room. Equipped with an oversized flat-screen TV, comfortable sofas, and plush chairs, it’s the prime area to host movie nights in. This level additionally offers a second wet bar, complete with a wine fridge.

The house is wonderful. We had the AC go out on July 4th, but the managers had someone out who fixed it within 4 hours!
The Internet wasn't working despite restarting the router, on the TVs and our TV devices (Roku, Firestick, and Apple TV). The owner manages this remotely, but was out of the country. I finally discovered that if I unplug the power from the router, as well as the two mesh repeaters, and then plugged them back in, in the order of router, wait 4 minutes, mesh repeater in the study, wait 4 minutes, and then mesh repeater in the butler's pantry, and wait again 4 minutes, then everything worked fine.
The porches were wonderful. The ceiling fans have slide switches - number 1 is the fastest speed, not number 4.
The grill out back was great, as was the kitchen.
I was surprised that the entire house still has incandescent light bulbs, which generate a lot of heat, and which burn out, of course. We had 2 burn out while we were there. LEDs are recommended, and will work with the various dimmers. Likewise, I recommend replacing the two large tank hot water heaters with endless hot water heaters - much more economical, and endless hot water. We never ran out of hot water despite 10 people taking showers, as well as frequent washing of dishes and clothes, but the endless hot water heaters use a fraction of the energy, and also don't put so much heat into the house.
Overall, I would recommend this house very much. The imperfections were minor and easily dealt with. Great location, too, about 10 minute walk to the beach.
There is a Publix nearby for food, etc. We went several times. Restaurant prices are very high in Seaside, and the lines tend to be long. Many restaurants
