We felt at home. Great hospitality and facilities

The main house was truly beautiful. The house sits in a quiet neighborhood surrounded by other sumptuous homes. Downtown was a short walk. There were helpful suggestions on where to eat and what the days live music offerings were.
The trash in my room hadn't been emptied of the previous guest's garbage. There were toenail clippings on the floor of the sitting area, which made me believe the room hadn't been vacuumed between guests. Worst of all: there was NO COFFEE at breakfast, nor the supplies to make more. I never saw a staff member at any point during my stay.

Everything was perfect: clear instructions from Hannah, spacious rooms and lots of breakfast items and snacks. The house was amazing and was both artistic and practical. I'm so glad I chose it!
I liked EVERYTHING
4.5
A lovely property in a very convenient location. The welcome was warm and the facilities very good.
The kerb at the entrance to the property was a bit difficult to cross for our low-slung car but the owner was very helpful about it.

What did we like? Compared to the rest of Clarksdale, MS, it is the nicest place to stay. The house has the potential to be the most beautiful house in Clarksdale.
The House was not the cleanest; stains in the carpet and the kitchen cabinets were sticky and had food stains on them. The handle for the cold water in the shower came off, the grounds were in bad shape, and the landscaping and curb appeal was horrible and not what one expects for the money we paid. The saving grace is; that compared to the other options to stay in Clarksdale, MS, this one is the best.

The size of the room, water in the room. Welcome wine. Friendliness of texts upon arrival. Comfort
Lack of dusting, spiderweb in bedroom, dusty drapes all around and cobwebs throughout the main house.
3.5
The historical house not far from the Festival stage.
Just a short unfriendly HELLO from the inkeeper. No warme welcome, didn't see anybody in 4 days. Does not fit to the promise in the welcome flyer.
The housekeeping ladies were very friendly.
Breakfast sweet stuff only, no eggs, bacon, cheese.
We booked the room BIG DADDY.
WIFI was a desaster.
Big trouble with AC. The control panel was outside, good for several rooms. Our room was always like a freezer when we came home at night.
By the way: Prices increased dramatically for the weekend days because of the Sunflower Festival.
I was in Clarksdale in 2018 too, accomodation White House at this time. Host was Madge Howell - what a difference.

I loved the quiet and semi-secluded room that we had. There is such a nice Delta charm to the place. Communal kitchen was a homey and clean operation. We plan to book here each time we visit the area.
Only real issue was the slow drains in sink and tub. True bummer.

The property itself, the location.

Wonderfully restored home. Just great in every way.
I didn’t find any shampoo or conditioner, which seemed odd.

Nothing to add.

The self-service breakfast was excellent.
In the evening, in addition to non-alcoholic drinks, there was even free red and white wine for all guests.
Our room in the main house was very large, as was the bathroom. The room and house furnishings reminded us a bit of the 1870's. This definitely has its charm, we enjoyed it.
The house is very quiet in a good residential area and the neighborhood is monitored by the police. Therefore, we also felt very safe here.
The pile of bricks by the garbage cans could be removed once.
Then the garden would look much better.
3.5
Lots of common space and a well stocked kitchen for breakfast and snacks
The room in the cottage was a little tired and lost some of the 'wow' that you got from the main house
4.5
Spacious room. Comfortable bed. Very clean. Amazing old house and friendly innkeeper.
Only problem was that it was a hot day/night. The first floor of the house was cool but the upstairs was a bit warm even with the air conditioning.

fine old mansion, withe beautiful rooms. the breakfast was excellent

It's a beautiful house, with a nice election of breakfast options available. The location is less than 10 minutes walk from the centre of Clarkesdale so great if you're heading out to one of the restaurants or blues clubs.
Bed was very high if you're short & only one bedside table in our room (Babydoll) if that's an issue.

They made us feel right at home in the main house and kitchen. And the cottage room was extremely comfortable, just what we wanted! A great value!

The house was beautiful! we stayed in the cottage and thought it was really pretty and comfortable.
our friends had issues with it being too cold in their room and in another room they had a wasp in their bed.

Loved the house and furnishings. The continental breakfast and stocked fridge was great

we stayed in a smaller ancillary building which was private and cozy.
would have appreciated tissues and a second roll of toilet paper in the room.

It was located close to all the tourists sites!
There were lady bugs all around the ceiling in our bedroom. I woke up in the middle of the night because I felt something crawling on my shoulder. It was a lady bug. 😳 Also it would make the property more appealing if the trees were shaped up and cut back from the entrance into the driveway.

Very nice,... had an at "home" feel.
