Our entire family, 17 of us, enjoyed our 5 nights at Edgewater Estate. This was a vacation we will always remember! The house is impressive, but comfortable. The bedrooms are pure luxury. Our crew enjoyed the pool, tennis court and fishing from the dock. The view is gorgeous... best at the lake!

The facility is great, note, lots of stairs. If you have folks that don’t do well with stairs this is not the place. However, the view was amazing! We had plenty of space. The ac went out one night and was fixed swiftly!

The house was spectacular, but needs a LOT of work. Pool decking cut children’s feet, and in three rooms ac was terrible, in my room and my sons room it was abysmal, and I had to get up and take a cold shower to try to sleep. Hank, the repair man was nice, but his wife fell twice and broke ribs so I guess he was at the hospital a lot. The few things we asked for impacted our stay and should have been addressed immediately. The drive to the dock has a Huge pothole which should be addressed. The landscaping was non existent, and the plastic flowers throughout only brought attention to it. We should be refunded

We had an amazing experience staying in this architectural wonder on Lake of the Ozarks. The huge spaces made our group of 14 comfortable in every way. The views...oh my gosh, the views! We were treated to an incredible lighting storm that we viewed from the 22 ft. wall of glass looking over the water, all the while playing "rain songs" on the grand piano! We had just one minor issue while using the indoor grill in the catering kitchen; the exhaust fan was not strong enough to clear the smoke. That was a minor issue that paled in comparison to the all of the wonderful things this house has to offer!

The very best VRBO we have ever stayed at. The view and location of property was amazing.
Check-in and check-out was perfect.
We will be staying here again for sure.
Thank you very much for a wonderful and relaxing stay.

I can't say enough good things about this property. From the location on the water, the pool/hot tub, sleeping accommodations, well stocked with dishes and supplies, 2 fridges, views, fishing, slide on owners dock, tennis court and much more. Our family had such a good time and the host was great to communicate with. The property is well maintained and beautiful. Thank you for sharing you place with us.

This is an amazing home built into the cliff! Beautifully decorated with many items provided that made our stay more enjoyable, e.g. baby items, pool toys, games. Interesting levels that provided unique views of the lake. One downside would be the railings that could be dangerous for young children like ours. We bought boxes and packing tape to block them where needed. Management may want to consider replacing some of the pots and pans. The non-stick coating was severely peeling on all of them. The caretakers were attentive and very respectful. We had a great time visiting the Lake of the Ozark!

The property is so special. We had 7 granddaughters and the dorm room was perfect. Loved having the pool right off the kitchen. It is very unique and there were places we didn’t even sit in. You won’t be disappointed

This was our second stay at the Edgewater. Accommodations were perfect for our family celebration consisting of 4 generations. Swimming, sunning, fishing, etc. Property is unique with beautiful views and wonderful sunsets. Well appointed with everything we needed and more.

Celebrated our 40th wedding anniversary with kids, grandkids, and friends. House was perfect for 10 adults and 6 kids under 10. Beautiful property, fantastic views, clean pool, and access to a visitor dock for our boat rental and the owner let us use their dock for swimming and fishing. Kids caught a ton of bluegill, sunfish from the fishing deck on the lower floor. Kitchen and butler kitchen were perfect for a guest chef, both kitchens were fully furnished. Property maintenance men came almost everyday to clean the pool, water plants and check-in for any problems. Would highly recommend!!

It was a very memorable experience.

Family Extravaganza!
This property is absolutely amazing! We had a total of 18 - 10 adults, and 8 grandkids ranging in age from 13-17. So many offerings - the pool, piano, pool table, multiple level decks for watching boats on the lake, dock area for activities in the lake, so much more! The grandkids even found the secret passage! :) The amenities of this place are amazing - we kept discovering new things all week. (Plus - with the large boiler - no worries about hot water for showers even for 18 people!) Jim - the property manager, Hank & Raoul - who cleaned the pool every morning, were extremely friendly and helpful. Even met our gracious host, Lynn - who owned the house next to us. He told us many interesting facts about Edgewater Estate - very interesting gentleman! Jennifer from VRBO was really wonderful to work with - this was our first VRBO rental and she made it so easy - even met us upon arrival to show us around. HIGHLY RECOMMEND this property. BEST family vacation ever - we all had such a wonderful time! Memories made that will last a lifetime! Thanks to all so very much!!

Our family celebrated a 50th wedding anniversary here and it was wonderful to have everyone together under one roof! Everyone was extremely comfortable and the home provides ample space! The home has everything you could need for all ages. The pool was our favorite! And lastly, Jim was at our beck and call. He was wonderful and never once made us feel like our requests or concerns were bothersome. I'd love to stay here again some day. Cheers

The house provided everything we needed and the view was amazing! The pool provided tons of fun and was cleaned daily. Highly recommend the mule if you’ll be going to the guest dock as the walk down and back is steep. Jennifer, Jim and all the staff were very responsive and kind. I would definitely go back.

Where to start describing our amazing week! Our immediate family of 19 spent a fun filled week swimming in the large well maintained pool filled (it was cleaned daily). We rented 2 local pontoon boats for one day (one boat the kids went tubing for some time while the other boat adults floated in a bay). Every night all 19 of us played a group game which we all relaxed and enjoyed with plenty of room to sit in the main living area (karaoke one night which we all laughed so hard we had tears in our eyes:)
The chefs kitchen was incredible. Because of Covid and also the size of our group (5 families) we cooked in. The men took over in the chefs kitchen every night and all breakfasts making incredible meals!
The house sleeps 20 and there were 19 of us so we weren’t sure if everyone would be comfortable for the week( 6 teens who were not going to share beds!). The rooms were so comfy with plenty of room (and sleeping area) for all. The newly updated bathrooms are beautiful. We went mini golfing, go cart racing, parasailing and there are plenty of local restaurants in the area.
And then there was fishing off the dock connected to the lower level. One day my husband cleaned he figured over 40 pounds of catfish they caught (little guys can now bait their hooks, cast, catch fish themselves, take fish off hook and put new hooks on as the fish kept breaking the line! The fish caught and cleaned was cooked in the chef kitchen in the deep fryer! Absolutely delicious!!
All in all it was a fantastic time with lots of pictures and great memories. The staff could not be more accommodating. Jim in particular we so thorough with all my questions and was so very helpful in every aspect. Not only would he immediately respond to any questions we may have had, he made it a point to make sure we understood everything the house had to offer. One night the air conditioning went out in 2 of the bedrooms (there are 9 air conditioners in the house!) and the next morning Jim was there and immediately took care of the problem.
Our whole family highly recommends Edgewater Estates! We hope to return again in the future!

We had 16 people in our group with ages from 80 to 14. There is soooo much room in this home! Everyone could find areas outside and inside to have their own space. The handy men that came and cleaned the pool and deck area everyday were AWESOME! super friendly with some great stories! Everyone raved about the comfort of the beds and the room size. Only bedroom problem is the master on the main floor. There was a lot of rain during our stay and it leaked quite a bit. The owners are aware and working to fix it. The elevator was also broken and was not repaired during our stay, but it was not a big deal. There are a lot of renovations and updates being done to the house, so expect some work to be done during your stay. The managers were very nice about scheduling things around our stay in the home. The grill area outside was great! I liked that it was away from the pool a bit. There is a family of cute racoons that will come visit if you leave the grill unattended! :) Definitely rent the mule to get around the property and down to the docks as it is quite a steep driveway and a little bit of a hike to the dock. The pool was great and very large and got a lot of use. We also really appreciated the amount of beach and bath towels available and the supplies like paper towels, paper plates, soaps, toilet paper and kitchen supplies to get the vacation off to a great start. We had a great time and the small inconveniences were totally outweighed by the good things happening at this home. I hope they get the VRBO pictures updated soon to reflect how the home is looking now.
Thank you for the good time!

We had 15 in our group- five couples and five young children. The adults were all thrilled to have beautiful rooms with their own newly renovated baths; and four of the small kids slept in the bunk room which they loved! Everyone raved about their rooms and their views of the lake. We were a bit worried about the deck outside the kids’ bedroom but we rigged the door so they couldn’t open it. The toddler slept in a pak-n-play in one of the master suites with her parents so that gave them lots of room. The house felt like a resort- we had plenty of room to spread out but were also able to comfortably come together for dinner and to enjoy the pool. I think we tried to use all of the decks and bars! The staff was always available if we needed anything, and the owners came by to make sure we were happy. All were truly wonderful people. We also rented a pontoon boat which was delivered to the dock- that was a treat in itself. The dock is a HIKE from the house- but you can take your car to it, or rent the mule. The house sits at the bottom of a steep hill- which means you can get good exercise if you want to walk the property or the private road. Gorgeous, breathtaking, truly special place. We will definitely be back one day!!

It’s spacious enough that you can retreat to a quiet spot when needed but also has a large, well planned living room/dining room/kitchen area for everyone to gather together. That area flows right to the pool and a large deck overlooking the lake, with beautiful sunsets to cap off the day.
We rented a pontoon boat and wave runners from Bombay Boat Rentals, docking them in the quiet cove to trade off and take breaks. We also used the tennis court and putting green for entertainment. I’d highly recommend renting the “mule” to get around the property as it is a steep walk up and then down to the dock area.
The maintenance staff and property manager were also very helpful and available to answer questions and clean the pool.
We’d highly recommend Edgewater Estate and hope to return again for future vacations!!
