We all had a wonderful time. Especially if you are traveling with pets, this place is what you are looking for!

We enjoyed our stay a the Cory Pines cabin, in walking distance from downtown Prescott. It is a great location with lots of things to do for our entire family. Directions to the home were very clear and communication with the host was great.

A very nice house. stocked with everything you would need. Caution that even with great directions, it is really hard to find at night the 1st time. Suggest that if possible you arrive the 1st time during the day, in order to find the parking behind the house.
Hosts were very responsive the night we arrived. The dog run on the side of the house is perfect for dog lovers.

My family stayed here to visit relatives over Thanksgiving. The house is a nice walk to downtown and as a bonus we met a family of deer walking right past the front door early one morning. My teens loved the extra space in the outbuilding and I loved how well stocked the kitchen was. We have stayed in many rentals in Prescott over the years and this was one of my favorites in terms of amenities and location. I love exploring interesting neighborhoods while walking to get my morning coffee and this was paradise in that regard.

This place was perfect. Very Quiet, neighbors we’re very friendly. Close to Downtown, as well close to the lakes. We brought out Kayaks and spent one day at Lake Watson. Hit up sprouts and target for our Dinner and Breakfast cravings to cook. The home was clean, and had everything you really needed. The back patio was our hangout place and our dog enjoyed it as well. We will be back.
Kelli,
Thank you for such a cool and relaxing place. 🙏

Location excellent
Outdoor areas just perfect. Location cannot be beat! House was very clean. Older home but in good condition. Kitchen really small with no storage. For short stay perfect but difficult for month long stay. I would recommend this property highly.

Stubbed my toe and cracked my nail on the porch in the front because the screws are coming out of the boards .I suggest you tend to that but other than that everything was great .

I would stay here again, very peaceful
The TV didn't work all the time but that's not the owners fault. Very comfy beds and back porch sitting was very relaxing, that's about all we needed. Very peaceful and very much enjoyed our stay, hope to be back again soon. Oh and our 4 legged children appeared to have a great time too, plenty of outdoor space for them too. Thank you.

Was everything we expected, had a great winter chalet feel to it. Close and convenient fun beautiful
I had half of my travel softball girls there and a couple coaches we had a great time. Was better than we thought as the kitchen the rooms and the decks were all great places to gather and bond. Would do it again in a minute. The people that help you are very responsive and nice with easy instructions. We could not have made a nicer spot thank you so much for letting us stay in your chalet.

Great Pre-Thanksgiving Getaway!
Great little patriotic, cottage close to the Square and other shops. Quaint and cowboy-themed. Spacious backyard patio with a huge dog run! Grill worked perfectly. Kitchen fully stocked. Only 2 issues: dirty pans in the stove and broken washing machine. Other than that, I would highly recommend this cabin.

Great for pets!
We had a great time at Cory Pines! The owners were easy to work with and very responsive. We spent the majority of our time on the back patio. The set up made having our dogs much more enjoyable knowing they could wander free inside the gated patio, and the side dog yard was a wonderful bonus. The neighbors are close, but we still had a sense of privacy. We saw deer in the back yard and javelina in the front yard. Overall, it was a pleasant experience!

Wonderful stay
Cory Pines is a lovely home. Our family (3 adults, 2 kiddos) had plenty of room to spread out. We loved spending time out on the expansive back porch, and our pup did too! We were able to easily make family meals - lots of kitchen tools and the basics (spices, etc...) were readily available. Would definitely stay again!

Adventure in the Pines!!
My family and I had a wonderful weekend at the Cory Pines. The cabin was so cozy and cute. Spacious enough for all five of us. Great area for the dogs. Close to downtown Prescott and within close proximity to hiking, the lakes, and fun for the family.

Great location, quite and cute, hard to cool down when the temp is in the 90’s. Just the family needed 👍👍

Great pooch-friendly getaway!
This charming Alpine chalet was a great getaway to beat the summer heat. It's in a great location just a mile from the Courthouse Square area, in a quiet neighborhood in the pines. The house is set up really well for dogs with a completely fenced in patio area and a separate side yard with artificial turf for dogs to play and potty. Wildlife is abundant - we saw deer and javelina here so be sure to keep an eye on the kids and dogs.

Bad Ant problem & not super clean
We've been to Prescott a few times and stayed in other VRBO homes. I've never experienced such a pest problem! This home had a bad ant problem. We noticed it first in the bathroom when we arrived. Ants all over the counter and a spider in the towels on the counter. Wasn't a big deal as we are in the woods. The next morning Ants were all over the kitchen counter. Kind of nasty so I sprayed with ant spray. There is no pantry and not a lot of cabinet space so all of our groceries were on the counter. Everything that had been opened now had ants inside of it. Tons of money wasted in groceries. I contacted the owner try and get pest control to come and their solution was to have me run out and get ant traps. In the end she did sent a neighbor over with ant traps and they did help a little. I had to spray the counter every day- move our unopened groceries to the kitchen table which already had all of our toiletries on it from the bathroom ant issue. We couldn't use the kitchen table for any meals. The ants were only left in the dishwasher as I could not spray for them with the dishes all over.
When we first arrived to the home it was as if we were the first guests opening up the home for the summer. There were cobwebs all over the entry ways, patio lights, the patio chairs, a dead bat was by the front door. The grill was there but not usable as the grates from the bottom were put on the top of the grill and they were all rusted out. The coffee maker was disgusting with burnt coffee grounds inside the pot. The oven was filthy inside with grease marks all over the glass and bottom. The inside door of the fridge provided a lot of room but was completely full with food/condiments that had been used and opened by other guests. During this pandemic I'm not touching anyone else food! The bedroom tv had no remote and did not work. There wasn't much of anything to save leftovers- no Tupperware, foil, baggies, etc. The shower head downstairs was broke- every time the water turned on the head fell due to the pressure and we weren't able to tighten it to use it. So one shower for all 4 of us. Overall it was a very overpriced place to stay for a getaway. We tried to be on the go for most of the trip which was good because it was hard to always come home to ants in my kids inhalers, toiletries and food. With a few minor changes, fixing things that weren't working and a major clean up it'd be a good place to stay.

Great mountain get away
We had a great time here. It’s a nice location that feels out of town but is actually very accessible to things to do in town. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to not only cook meals but also to store left overs, which was great. We also brought our dogs, and they had a great time and had plenty of room. The only downside was that one of the upstairs bedrooms gets very hot in the evening. One bedroom has an AC unit that works great to cool that room, but we couldn’t get it to cool the other one very much. That said, we were there during a very hot week, and it did cool down overnight and really for the majority of the day. It was only a problem from about 4:00-10:00 PM or so. That said, we would absolutely stay here again without any hesitation.

Forest Hidaway
We loved our home in Prescott in the midst of the “forest” yet so close to the square and all that it offers. We had planned to take pets but did not at the last minute. However it would have been a great place to have them with us as there is fencing all around the back and even a dog run! We would gladly go back and stay at the same great home!!

Great place to stay!
Loved the location of this place. Look forward to going back when I can spend more time downtown. Our dogs enjoyed the patio as did we. The place was clean and Kelli helped quickly with a small issue upon check in. Would recommend this place to anyone -my family will be returning as soon as we can!

Comfortable, convenient & great location
We stayed a long weekend in early August. Very Clean, comfortable and easy access. We had planned to bring our big dogs, but changed our plans last minute. They would have really enjoyed the large back deck, tall trees, and breeze - next time! Location was very convenient for our needs and we could see all the personal touches the host did to ensure we were comfortable. Plan to return same time next year!

As always we had a great time. Great location. House is perfect for a few people or a big group. Very dog friendly and safe. Recommend very highly.

Comfortable.
We, along with our dog, Luke, really enjoyed our weeks stay. It was so nice to sit outside in comfortable chairs every evening and enjoy the cool breeze. ( We live in the Desert) . It was furnished nicely with everything we needed, including laundry. The property was clean, fresh, fully fenced and well taken care of. The close proximity to town was really a plus. Needless to say, we will return to this property.

A Cool Retreat.
Enjoyed the cool pines and the rain. House had all the kitchen gadgets to cook like home. Would like another relaxing retreat soon.

Lots of maintenance and housekeeping issues.
We were in Prescott for 11 days and enjoyed the Rodeo and Frontier Days, however we were very disappointed with Cory Pines. There was no shower soap or Kleenex. The white towels left for our use were badly stained as though someone used them to wash their car. The metal storage rack above the toilet was rusted. The rust colored sheets/pillow cases on the bed in the downstairs bedroom were very wrinkled and the edges were frayed and raveling. In the kitchen there was only 1/2 roll of paper towels and two garbage bags for the kitchen trash can. Not enough for 11 days. There was no cleaning supplies (Fantastic, Windex, Scrubbing Bubbles). I like to clean the sinks and tub every other day. No wax paper or Saran Wrap. The kitchen cabinets were a total disarray. We bought supplies - cereal, snacks, cookies, crackers, etc and there is no place to store them. We had to leave them on top of the counter. The fridge/freezer was not empty. There were two door shelves of condiments - ketchup, mustard, multiple jars of mayo, sauces etc - and most were open. One had an expiration date of 2017. In the freezer the ice cube trays were cracked which made them useless. There were bags of flour and one had a 'use by date of September 2015. There were open bottles of olive oil and vegetable oil above the stove. Also a homemade labeled jar of 'Canola Oil". The fridge is 10 years old (as of 2018) and the stove is not new either. The knobs are loose and it needs a cleaning. The tableware is missing a lot of spoons and should really be replaced. Some of the handles have melted. No flash lights or emergency lighting in case the power goes out, which may happen because of the tall pine trees and above ground power lines. Bulbs burned out in chandelier and bathroom. Lamps sitting in corner, electric cord wrapped on top of lamp shade, decorating items laying in the corner. The basket of brochures was loaded with restaurants that have since gone out of business. She advertises new carpeting - only carpeting is on the stairs and it's not new. Only real closet to hang clothes is upstairs and accessed thru one of the bedrooms. The downstairs bedroom has 4 hooks to hang clothes. And the separate Casita needs to be tidied up. They want the renters to house down the patio and dog area after they leave. The water from the hose is just a dribble. I think the Cory Pines owners should make a trip to their rental and spend a few days doing some housekeeping and updating.

Two years ago three couples from different places sent their daughters to Yavapai College to play softball. Last weekend three couples got together at Cory Pones, as friends, to spend one final weekend watching our daughters play ball. Cory Pines had everything we needed, but we especially loved the outdoor living space! We spent beautiful mornings visiting and drinking coffee on the back porch. We even saw a javelina, a roadrunner, and a hawk! Our dogs enjoyed the freedom of a fenced in backyard and the convenience of the dog door! The beds were comfortable and the inside living space accommodated us all. On the last night out 3 girls moved out of their dorms and stayed in the casita adjoining the property. Thank you so much for hosting our last nights in Prescott!

Great stay at a wonderful house
Really enjoyed our stay at the house. We rented it for an event we were attending in Prescott and could not be happier with the location, the house and the owner. Tons of great restaurants and interesting things close by. We will definitely be staying here again going forward!

My family and I spent 5 nights at the home and enjoyed it very much. It is a 50 yr. old house but is in nice condition. The stairs are dark and narrow so I decided to stay downstairs (I'm in my 80's). We kept the doors and windows open as much as possible which made the house very comfortable. The location is excellent - less than a mile from Whiskey Row. Back patio is large and close to parking behind the home.
We were looking for some premium channels on the TV but no luck.
Great yard for dogs!
I recommend this home as a vacation rental
