It was beautiful from outside….
Not the cleanest house but sure it is taken care of to there ability . Washer /dryer doesn’t really work correctly. There were ants in the house and just seems dingy(dirty)

Great cabin house
This property was great for my ski weekend. It is on a quiet side road, so no heavy traffic flying by. But easy to get to and access (given you have 4wd/awd in the winter). I really enjoyed the wood fireplace (I think they're better than gas fireplaces). The locals were nice at all the places I went to around this house. Very friendly to tourists like me.
The only bad thing was the bathroom/shower. It could have been cleaned better. There was hair left in it when I arrived.
Overall a great place to stay at. I would definitely book this place again if available when I come again.

Convenient Location and Owners very easy to deal with
All together there were two couples and one single that came up to Pittsfield so we can be central to all the White River has to offer in the summer while having proximity to Killington and the Mountain Top Inn where we would be attending a wedding. There was EASILY enough room to fit more people comfortably as the master bed has a cot and the double bunk beds and couches had plenty of room. The house was clean and most importantly convenient to Route 100 and close to all ski and/or Summer attractions.
There are two general stores both with fantastic beer and food selections and the local businesses are very friendly and accommodating. It was quite hot so we decided against cooking in the house and grilling/sitting by a fire but we will definitely return in the winter and utilize the cozy fireplace and fire pit. Luckily there were great food options (definitely recommend trying The Foundry Restaurant) as well as amazing sandwiches at the general store with the gas station. All can be enjoyed from the Adirondack chairs on the deck while viewing the wondrous star gazing that Vermont has to offer.
Most importantly Jess was incredibly easy to communicate with and get details from. She answered our questions quickly and accurately and was accommodating to potential last minute changes in our arrival/departure. I'd recommend this property to anyone. Make sure you print out the directions though because Jess is right, you will lose your GPS and Cell Service a few miles away

Perfect all season destination!
My family has stayed at this lovely chalet for years. In spring, summer, fall and winter. Super close to skiiing, hiking, and back roads for biking and touring the Vermont countryside. There is a swimming pond just across the road, fun for kids and adults. The house is well kept, comfortable and has the amenities we require - washer, dryer, equipped kitchen, fireplace and big windows with lots of light. A terrific place that we all highly recommend!!

Killington Ski Trip
My boyfriend and I spent the weekend here for a ski get-away trip to Killington. It was our first time at Killington Mountain and the owner's were extremely helpful in recommending the best places for people our age to go (lodges at the mountain, bars, restaurants, etc.) and they were willing to accommodate us in anyway they could. The drive to the mountain from the house was perfect, only about a 10-15 minute ride. The house was very well kept, clean and cozy which made our stay there enjoyable. The kitchen was well stocked with pots/pans which was great because we love to cook! The best part was coming back after a long, cold day of skiing to a large and warm fireplace and board games (large selection for all ages provided by the owner's! :) ) I recommend this to anyone looking for a fun and cozy ski get-away !

Perfect place for our Team to stay for our Spartan Beast event. The great combination of rustic lodge with all the comforts of home and a great country store just down the street to stock up on supplies and get a great breakfast sandwich too!

Perfect Location for Killington!
My 3 friends and I spent the weekend here to take advantage of the awesome skiing at Killington. The location of the house was really great - ~15 minutes to the mountain, and a short drive away from restaurants and bars. We slept comfortably, the house was clean, and the fireplace was perfectly cozy. We did get stuck at the end of the driveway when we weren't paying attention and it had just snowed, but fortunately there were shovels on the property that helped us out :)
The owners were also really helpful when I was booking the property, and were able to work with me even though I booked it with only 4 days notice! They were really forthcoming with information on the house and the area, and I could tell that they really enjoyed the area and love the house.

Killington Ski Trip
I stayed at this house during the weekend of Super Snow Storm Nemo. Our rental was supposed to start on Friday, the day the storm was scheduled to hit VT but my group of 6 guys decided to leave LATE Thursday night before the storm hit. The owners of the house were very accomodating and on very short notice allowed us to arrive a day early in order to avoid the storm.
Throughout all of Friday we were hit with 16+ inches of snow and the roads leading to the house and the house's driveway were plowed several times throughout the storm.
The house itself slept 6 men comfortably, all in their own bed. There was plenty of firewood to burn for the 3 days we were in the house. The house was very clean and all linens where clean prior to our arrival. There is a Country Store within 0.25 miles of the house that served great breakfast and had all the amenities one would need, including a great beer selection.
Killington was an easy 8 mile drive and we skied and ate dinner on the access road each night.
I would recommend the house to anyone who is looking to stay with a group near Killington and I will look to reserve the house for next years trip. Enjoy!

Perfect house for a fun winter get away!
This house was great for our New Year's getaway. It was just the right size for our group - plenty of sleeping space and just the right amount of 'hang-out' space. The huge couch in the living seats like, 6-7 people and the rest huddled comfortably around the big coffee table and fireplace...perfect for playing games (which is what we spent the evenings doing). Plus the kitchen is open to the living room, so even if people are split up between the two rooms, everyone can still feel included.
The owner had the house stocked with the necessities that not everyone thinks of bringing - trash bags, cleaning products, paper towels, etc. All the beds were dressed and there was even laundry accessible to guests!
The location was perfect too - only 10 minutes from the mountain for those who want to go skiing or snowboarding, and the same distance for great snowshoe/cross country trails.
I would definitely stay at this house again - the only issue that arose was that it had just snowed (which was perfect!) and the road leading to the house was a very slick. Without a 4WD vehicle, it would have been hard to get to the driveway, let alone up the driveway. We had one couple who needed to park their car at the bottom of the hill, but obviously that is anticipated, as there is an emergency snow parking lot at the beginning of the street. So it's not a complaint, but just something to be aware of. In our pick up truck, we had no trouble getting to the house!
I highly recommend this house to anyone looking for a winter getaway near Mt. Killington!

Excellent property and great place to stay, very close to the mountain!
This place is exactly what you expect, a nice home not far away from the mountains. The property is exactly as stated and sleeps 8 comfortably. More can always sleep when using the couches. The place is clean and well maintained and is easy to get to. The owner is wonderful and is easy to get in touch with. Enjoy the great location and the slopes of near by Killington!!!
