Location was fantastic!! Accommodations perfect! Comfortable, and cute!! Make sure you can do steep stairs.

Apartment was exactly as shown. Great location for walking anywhere in the Main Street. Host was very helpful and responsive, made it easy. Off street parking around the corner is really useful because you’re probably driving to whitewater every morning.

My wife and I had a wonderful stay here - kitchen is very well equipped and the unit is very comfortable with lots of seating options. The location is ideal for visiting restaurants and for easy access to Whitewater. Communication with the host was super easy, with quick responses that directly answered our questions.

Perfect location in the center of Nelson. Nicely airconditioned for the hot summer weather. Comfortable living with nice decor. There is a hike up and down the stairs when coming and going, although good exercise. Enjoyed my stay!

We were looking for a place to stay in Nelson in the downtown area & this was exactly what we had in mind. Don’t let the entry hallway fool you…it is a narrow steep stairway to get to the landing but apartment itself is exactly as pictured & immaculate.

Loved our stay-great location right in downtown Nelson. We walked everywhere, to rhe grocery store, coffee shops, restaurants.... The loft itself is super xut6and cozy, had everything we needed for our stay. Only bummer was a noisy neighbor one of the nights, who played loud music til well after midnight... Otherwise a great stay!

Adorable little place lived the rock wall and real plants. The pluses and minuses of being on Baker suite - handy location to walk to everything but hiking … the down side is the noise of being on the Main Street of Nelson.

I only hesitate to write this glowing review because I want this suite available whenever we return to Nelson.
This shirt s a very lovely studio suite with a well equipped kitchen, comfortable living area and very comfy bedroom. Located right on Baker Street.
Only warning is the flight of stairs are steep but the rear entrance is a bit easier to climb.
Faun Smith is an excellent host and will quickly respond to replies.

The condo had everything we needed. We loved the location and found it easy to get around. The parking is a bit of a walk to get to but there's parking on the street in front or around the side to unload your vehicle. We would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful suite
We had a wonderful week stay in this beautiful swuite. . We loved being right on Baker Street. It can be a little noisy until about midnight or 1 o’clock, but then it quietens right down. The suite is just as depicted on Vrbo. The kitchen is excellent, the beds are very comfortable, great air condition in the living room and bedroom. Access to Netflix was super. Faune is very responsive. Checking in was very easy as there is a lock box and she sent you a code to access the keys. We would gladly stay here again at any time

Great Location, Needs a Few enhancements
Overall a very nice place. Super location. Best for two adults.
Comfortable beds. Large shower. Needs a door between living space and the bedroom. Coffee maker sucks. Coach is uncomfortable.

Great place to base a vacation
This 2nd floor walk-up, right on Nelson's main street is spacious and well appointed. The non traditional floor plan worked well for the two of us. The kitchen is large enough and is well equipped to fully prepare meals in. The laundry, that is tucked away, handled all the dirty clothes from skiing. There was room to store things in the bathroom that had a large stall shower. We loved the high ceilings and the old style woodwork, juxtaposed to some of the modern architectural upgrades.
Baker Street has many shops and restaurants and bars but isn't noisy at all. We could walk to get groceries, coffee, bread or desert or to get our skis tuned.
Apex Busk XC ski area is 10 minutes away while Whitewater ski area is about 20-25 min from town. Kootenay Lake is a walk to the waterfront. We love Ainsworth Hot Springs, which is a VERY scenic 35 minute ride.
A delightful stay.

Better than the Hume
Great experience, and you feel like you are in the middle of historic Nelson. Very nice location and looks just like the online pictures. Would recommend to anyone but maybe those that don't do steep stairs well as its an old school building with no elevator and 2 flights of stairs from the street. I am mentioning that because its a wonderful place, but it would just be a bit disappointing for some if not very mobile with lots of luggage. RECOMMEND!!!!

Comfortable stay
Enjoyed our stay in Nelson. Suite was very comfortable, clean and quiet. The only downfall is the stairs, which aren't easy to navigate with heavy suitcases. Parking is also a block away on the 4th level of a parking garage. We had to find street parking to load and unload and then moved the car to the parking garage.

Baker St. Appartment
Our experience staying at this property and correspondence with the property manager, Faune Smith, was wonderful.
The appartment is well equipped for short or long term stays.
The Baker St. suite is tastefully decorated in a unique eclectic style yet relaxed and comfortable.
It's clean, quiet and has great beds for sleeping.
Centrally located in Nelson made it easy for us to shop and explore the area.
We found Faune to be an excellent host who was both helpful and accommodating.
We are looking forward to our next stay.

Great location
Clean place, lots of character. The only issue was a narrow stairway leading up to the suite - we had some heavy luggage. It was however worth the climb and we enjoyed our stay in this modern, clean unit.

Fantastic Place To Stay In Nelson!
Absolutely perfect location right on Baker Street and in the middle of it all! Look out your windows and see it all happening. Walk to everything, including the parking garage a block away (5 short flights of stairs) with your reserved spot so no daily drama finding a parking spot for your car. The condo is beautiful (the pictures and description are very accurate) with all the things we needed and more. It is kind of an open floor plan with no actual door to the bedroom, rather a waved partial glass block wall separating it from the living area. Works very well.
Big bathroom and huge two headed shower stall, very nice. The wifi is fast and password secured. The owner, Faune, is very responsive and professional thus making the rental experience easy and worry free. Thank you Faune! We had a wonderful time wandering around Nelson enjoying the many great restaurants while skiing the days at Whitewater. One fyi, the staircase to the condo is pretty steep (28 steps with a landing half way up) and could be challenging for those with accessibility needs, though it was not an issue for us at all and probably wouldn't be for most people. It is perfect place for two people with it having two queen beds in the one bedroom and could certainly accommodate 4 if you are at least friendly! If you are coming to Nelson we highly recommend Baker Suite #4. When we come back, we'll try to stay here again. Reserve early, I suspect this is a very popular place.

Perfect downtown spot
The suite was perfect for my sons and I to relax and enjoy downtown Nelson. Walking distance to everything. Kitchen was well equipped, we made a few meals in as well as ordered pizza from Thor’s, a few steps away (great pizza!!) The stairs are fine unless you’re 80.

Superb location and charming Condo!
Step out the door onto the “Main Street” of Nelson! Which reminds me, no elevator for unit (second floor) or parking garage (three flights to street, a block away). We managed by parking on street to unload and load car... if stairs are an issue this would not be the unit for you.
No night noise from the street... so sleeping was great. Unit is stylish, sparkling clean, comfy beds, stocked kitchen and great washer/dryer. It was the perfect place for us mid trip via Selkirk Loop! Awesome restaurants within walking, our favorite was Pitchfork! Folks in town are super friendly ... the CoOp grocery was terrific and the cashier gave us a temporary membership card ! Oso Negro coffee shop was our favorite and a fun find was Lillie & Cohoe’s stylish hats for rain and warmth... Liz, the owner and designer took us thru the work room which was a rare treat ... I bought 6 hats and my husband bought 1 for golfing ... they pack easily, a bonus for traveling!
Thanks for hosting us Faune!

Enjoyed Nelson B.C.
We liked the downtown location. Definitely felt like we were central and walked a lot. Did not think about the steep stairs in the upstairs location in this old building. It was okay for us, but could be a challenge for less agile folks. Also, parking is a block away on the top of a multistory garage (more stairs).
