Had an amazing five days with family! Enjoyed the home and yard. Loved watching the little fawns in the yard and neighboring property. We had prompt response with our requests. Beautiful well kept home.

We traveled to Northport and stayed at Northern Lights Lodge with a group of 13 colleagues (we also had 15 additional colleagues who stayed in other accommodations nearby but all dined with us at each meal). This home was absolutely perfect for our needs and it could not have been more beautiful. Can't wait to return next year!

Three generations of the family - 19 year old to 68 year old. Loved the property. Plenty of room for great yard games and socializing. Quick access to hiking trails and mountain biking. The house and yard were wonderful. Plenty of space for all 21 of us. The yard was so great we never wanted to leave. Bonnie and Douglas were great. Would definitely stay here again!

This is a very nice place to stay. It is a beautiful lodge with plenty of space, bedrooms, and bathrooms. We would stay here again if we are needing a place in the area. It is within walking distance of the majestic Columbia River. The kids loved playing on the huge lawn, and small forested area behind the lodge. I really can't say enough good things about this beautiful home. You won't regret renting this place.

This was a fantastic find for our group retreat of a dozen adults and 3 kids. We had space to spread out, the game room was a big hit, commercial style kitchen and extra fridge were very appreciated, and the en suite bathrooms for all but one bedroom were wonderful!!
With laundry on site, cleaning supplies, and plenty of linens, a longer stay is easy. Know before you go that the kitchen is very well stocked with dishes, pans, and utensils, but you will want to bring ALL cooking ingredients with you (including oils and spices).
Don't miss the easy hike down to the river and take a short trip north to Northport and Paterson, BC (bring your ID Docs) for dinner extra fun! Thanks Bonnie and Davies family for a great stay!

We have traveled to many states and locations for the past 14 years for our children and their families to meet up. All ages agree that this was the best yet. We enjoyed lots of water play in the surrounding river and lakes, several family friendly as well as challenging hikes, local community flavor, and had plenty of room for games in the large yard. The home and it's features were perfect for our large family. We had so much fun that the unseasonably high temps did not deter our fun. Thanks

We’re not usually big on leaving reviews but this lodge has earned it & deserves it. We would say the space is even better than the pictures. It feels very secluded for being among other homes. The yard in fenced in by 3 corners which allows you to feel like your the only lodge within the community. There was enough space for everyone & that is hard to find with a group of 20. The living room is one of the smaller spaces, but not much time is spent in there when the kitchen is industrial size, the deck wraps around the entire backside of the house, & the yard is beautifully manicured. The outside space gets a ton of sun but still has spots that are shaded which was extremely nice. We played yard games and never ran out of room. We played relay games and didn’t even cover 1/4 of the yard. There is plenty enough parking. The kitchen has everything you could ever need, including an ice maker. A nice touch in the kitchen was that all the drawers and cupboards are labeled which made cooking in an unfamiliar kitchen a whole lot easier. The rooms are even bigger than they look. Plenty of towels and blankets. The air conditioner worked extremely well. Every room was filled with guests and even after cooking pizzas in the oven, the house stayed cool and we had to throw an extra blanket on a couple of the beds. We will absolutely be back as the group thought the trip was extremely fun & the space could not have been any better!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Family Reunion At Northern Lights Lodge
We had another fabulous family reunion at this amazing lodge. The suites are large and each have their own bathroom. The kitchen is very big, and perfect for our meals. We took advantage of the China Bend Boat Launch, which is only a few minutes away, and Lake Roosevelt. Spectacular, as always. Our group was a little bigger than usual, so we rented Grandpa’s Cabin which was right down the road, and easy walking distance. The whole community is gracious and welcoming. We also ventured over to the China Bend winery again, and stocked up on wine & organic foods. We’re looking forward to returning to this Lodge, hopefully for many years to come.

Beautiful scenery and spacious accommodating home
Not only was the property surrounded by the beauty of mountains and trees, the home was perfectly appointed to host our large group! The kids played on the lawn for hours. Our group hiked down to the river on 2 different occasions.
On the couple of stormy days, we lounged inside and played games. There was plenty for all of us to do. The property manager was incredibly helpful and responsive. We will definitely return to Northern Lights Lodge!

Northern Lights lodge
Overall a nice place to get away from the hassles of life. Although it still has internet and TVs for those that still need it. Mostly quiet neighborhood. a few animals around that you hear outside. the referidgerator was dying and they replaced it as soon as they could with what was available. Bonnie was a great property manager.

Nice comfy place to be.
It was an easy process to rent this property. All of my guests and myself were pleased with this property. It has plenty of room inside and out. All of us had a blast. We were able to play softball volleyball soccer on the big yard it has in the front. I would really recommend this property for family or any reunions. Manager’s Bonnie and Douglas were really friendly thank you.

Peaceful Lodge to Re-connect
Beautiful, serene northwest lodge. The kind of place where you can just feel yourself relaxing the minute you walk through the door.
One of the best equipped kitchens we have ever experienced including a huge chest freezer, a commercial coffee maker and commercial stove. We enjoyed spending lots of time preparing meals and the huge kitchen island was great for this.
One of our group uses a wheel chair and was able to use the ramp to access the main floor. It is also possible to access the first floor bedrooms by going around the house in the grass on the wheelchair.
Lots of great places to go for a walk. The China Bend Winery is a gem that produces some world-class wines and shouldn't be missed.
So nice to re-connect at this place after avoiding so much during the pandemic.

Lovely place. Helpful and quick response managers of the place.
We had such a great time. The lodge was absolutely lovely. Wood floors - so lots of women together chatting means it gets noisy. Stocked with firewood. Kitchen great. Bonnie was super quick to respond to any questions or needs we had. Thanks again!!

Away time perfected

A True Blessing
This was our second year taking our youth group to the Northern Lights Lodge and both years has been such an amazing blessing! The large property gives plenty of space for activity and the peaceful atmosphere makes way for life changing conversations! Both years we have had students beg to stay because they love it so much.
The booking is so easy and communication back and forth is so easy. The care taker is such a sweet lady! I would HIGHLY recommend the lodge to large groups that are looking for a great get away. The kitchen is fully stocked with dishes and cookware that will meet your needs. One of my favorite parts with a large group is that there are 7 bedrooms and 7 bathrooms!
As of now we plan to go again next year!

Perfect!
Oh my goodness! Northern Lights Lodge was so, so perfect for our large family. There was so much space and so much to do outside. The house was fully furnished with everything we needed, the outdoors was gorgeous, and there was enough space to get away if my husband, baby, and I needed our own space from the rest of the family. Bonnie always got back to us right away if we needed anything. Our stay was wonderful! THANK YOU!

Epic Winter Retreat
This place is gorgeous both inside and out. The fireplace was stocked with perfectly seasoned wood, all the amenities we would want were taken care, the lodge was very clean and tidy. It is extremely spacious and held 20 people with no problems. The kitchen made meal prep a joy. The huge yard made for endless playing in the snow. The vistas of the mountains and wildlife were breathtaking. The wraparound deck added even more space. This is an incredible getaway.
