Spend your next vacation gazing out at the Atlantic Ocean at our beachfront townhouse-style condo, Summerhouse 263. Located beside Matanzas Inlet in an amenity-rich resort, our condo is luxuriously appointed and boasts panoramic coastal views and new HDTVs in every room, new Blu Ray/DVD player, Wifi in unit, Netflix account for guest use. Please note, due there is construction in the complex due to Hurricane Irma. Only one beach access path is open to the beach
Occupying the second and third floors of a beachfront building, Summerhouse 263 offers breathtaking views from the balcony, living and dining rooms, and master bedroom. The second bedroom gives you a glimpse of the Intracoastal Waterway to the west. With nothing on three sides of our condo complex except natural Florida scenery, Summerhouse 263 is a relaxing and beautiful place to stay.
Stand on our balcony, and you have a sweeping view of dunes, sand, sea, and sky. The murmur of the surf and the salt tang in the air remind you constantly that you are on the beach, away from the bustle of island life. Birds are plentiful here, the sunrise is spectacular, and the ocean changes every time you look at it. Wander out early one morning and chances are you'll see a fin or two from our local school of dolphins swimming by!
When it's time to go inside, you can enjoy the same beautiful view from our living room . . . but with the addition of central air conditioning and a silently whirring ceiling fan! The blue motif continues indoors, the bright azure accents in this room echoing the blue of the sea and sky. So peaceful and soothing after a busy day outdoors! There's a brand-new 32-inch flat-screen TV with cable, VCR, and DVD player in here, plus plenty of comfy seating, from the two Papasan chairs to the loveseat and the futon, which unfolds into a bed.

The property was as advertised. Quite clean and simply excellent views. Location was perfect for us as we wanted to be slightly out of the melee. Very quiet and serene with immediate access to both pools and beach. Will look to book again if we happen to return.

The unit was absolutely filthy and in need of a deep cleaning. Our feet were black five minutes after walking on the floor. There was mildew in the showers and hair on the floor. There was also mildew on the mattress protector after stripping the sheets. Gross. There are repairs that need to be made expeditiously. I love the location, the view and the neighborhood but the unit itself needs some help.

The view is excellent, close to the ocean. Loved the sound of the waves from the open bedroom window. Lots of good things about this place. Pros: Comfortable beds Roomy Clean Lots of amenities (tennis, pickleball, washer/dryer, etc.) Literally only steps to beach Friendly community Cons: Very strange sink/faucet configuration in kitchen Small bathrooms with limited storage Cheap sheets; bottom sheet wouldn't stay on At least 10 miles to groceries or restaurants

This property have a beautiful view of the morning sunrise but could use some maintenance. Patio door was very hard to open and rugs/carpets were soiled a worn. There were no kitchen linens provided. When we had an issue the property management company did respond and take care of it. Pools are beautiful. I would stay in this community again but probably not this unit.

What's not to love in a condo by the sea? This townhouse had the perfect view. It was clean and was decorated to perfection - stylish yet comfortable. There was also an ample supply of kitchen items and the beds were comfortable. We enjoyed a couple of wonderful restaurants nearby but it's a little removed (10-15 minutes) from the busiest parts of St. Augustine Beach. That's all good!

We very much enjoyed the stay at the beach. The view is great and the rental is comfortable. It is an easy walk to the beach and pools. The unit has a new AC that works great. We like the lower density of this older development and how it is in a more remote location. If the county did not allow people to drive cars on the beach this would be the perfect location.

We were very pleased with our stay! This is a beautiful location with lots of places to explore. This is an older building and there is wear and tear but over all we were very pleased with our furnishings. Everything was clean. You could tell the kitchen had been remodeled. I really appreciate the tile and laminate flooring. It sure does help with sand! The view is amazing and we were steps away from the ocean. This was our first time at Crescent Beach and we love it! This unit is located in between two pools and two board walk entrances. This lends itself easy access to the amenities. I would highly recommend this unit and are planning to come back!

The place is lovely and the view outstanding, as expected. A couple of issues with the unit I feel should be addressed. We had to go out and purchase lightbulbs as there were several lamps and/or fixtures that had no bulb. We had to kill several insects (one roach in kitchen) which really needs to be addressed. Next door neighbor (our balcony right next to each other) was constantly out smoking on the balcony or right outside the front door. Not sure this is allowed but certainly not pleasant. Overall Summerhouse is a lovely complex which has been maintained beautifully over the years and storms.

Summerhouse 263 was perfect for us to leave our home in the very cold north to get away, relax and enjoy the warmth and beauty of the beach, ocean and the quiet surroundings. The condo was clean and spacious and the view was spectacular! We enjoyed cooking and ate all our meals on the porch with the view of the ocean sights and listening to the waves. We loved the 2 story town-house style. The location is awesome, walking distance to Fort Matanzas National Monument, on our walk we saw many birds, dolphins, even a Gopher Tortoise thanks to kind locals that pointed it out burrowed in the sand. We were just a short drive to St Augustine and toured Castillo de San Marcos, this fort was rich with history. We had a picnic at Anastasia State Park enjoying seashelling and long walks. We loved our time at the Summerhouse Condo Association so much that we are coming back next February, along with family so we can further explore the St Augustine area and enjoy the relaxing quiet setting this location offers! The condo was dirty and dated. There were also a lot of roaches in the kitchen area. The carpet on the stairs was very nasty and dirty. The kitchen was not stocked well with kitchen utensils and parts were missing from the coffee maker and blender. The electrical outlets didn’t work in the bathrooms. When we called to get someone to take care of the issues they said it would be a few days. Overall speaking we would never rent this unit again.

This property is very outdated. It was not clean, the furniture needs to be cleaned, the carpeting desperately needs cleaning, the bedding was soiled, we were very disappointed. For the money it was not worth it. The one saving grace was the view of the ocean was great. The door on the cupboard in the kitchen fell off when we opened it, the screen door to the ocean deck wouldn't open, was off the track, light bulbs were missing. The rental company did compensate me $150, which is what I had given them for the cleaning fee, at least that was something, but as I said for the money I paid to rent the condo it should have been perfect.
