This was a fantastic house for our stay in Canon Beach. It was clean, quiet, and spacious. This will be the first place we try to book when returning to the area again.

My family of 4 had a great time on our short visit to Cannon Beach. The house was as advertised but appears to be in need of some basic updating. Specifically the carpet and couches show the traffic and animals that stay there.

The property was clean and very conveniently located with a short walk to the beach. Our group consisted of 4 adults and 2 young children (3 and 13 months) and we were very comfortable. I would definitely stay here again and recomment to others!

Enjoy the best of both worlds with this sunny, bright, airy house just blocks from the beach. So much sunlight and vaulted ceilings make this a wonderful place to curl up with a good book or to work on a puzzle. The loft is cozy and perfect for movie nights! This is a quiet street and right next to a cool green belt with a trail for your pups. Head the other directly and your at the beach in minutes, just in time for a sunset or a picnic. Love this home and we'll be back again and again.

Beautiful rental, it's the best one we've stayed in yet. Very clean, well stocked, and lots of room to spread out. The only negative is that the waffle iron did not heat up properly but that was not a big deal. The rental was perfect, making our stay so so enjoyable. Already booked it again for fall.

We loved the loft, the knotty pine walls and the skylights, with pine trees seen through. The weather was a mixed bag, so we ended up inside the house for quite a bit. With a wood stove, it was really nice. The entertainment equipment was reliable and simple (we had bad experience in the past with a system that was too fancy), nice large screen. It was just my wife and myself, but the house is big enough to host a whole family. The beach is a few blocks away, which was not a problem for us at all. A brisk walk for 5 mins or less and you are there, very close to Haystack Rock. Even though the Hwy 101 is nearby, we didn't hear any noise. Nice, quiet neighborhood. We recommend this house to anyone seeking a quiet refuge for a few days. We come to the coast every year in late April or May, we like to stay in a different house each time, but this one is definitely on the list to visit again.

We loved staying here! Perfect location in Cannon Beach. Still close enough to a few shops and restaurants to walk to. House is so spacious for a family with young kids. We loved the kitchen and loft area especially! Very clean too! We would definitely stay here again!

We had a comfortable stay. There are some things that could use some updating (separation in countertops/ stained carpets) but overall it was nice and clean and we were able to have a good time. It was what we expected. The only things that I wish were different really would be that the light on the porch that leads to a small fenced area was out so it was very dark to take the dog out- also there was so much dog waste from previous renters not cleaning up after their dogs that I didn’t really want them to use it anyway for fear of tracking it back in. I used up many of my own bags trying to clean it up but there was too much to do it completely. That’s not really a maintenance issue though is it?
Overall nice place and we would return!

We absolutely loved the Harrison Loft! It was clean, spacious and comfortable. The carpet in the bedroom could stand to be replaced, but besides that, it was great. It is also in a very convenient location, close to shops, restaurants and the beach. We definitely plan on coming back!

The house was acceptable. Furniture and amenities were dated and mismatched, but acceptable carpets were stained but the house seemed pretty clean. Great location. Short walk to the beach and into town. Getting in the house with the door lock was a little challenging, but finally figured it out. the blinds were hard to work (close), but we got that figured out too. Wouldn’t have been a big deal, but there was kind of a creepy house next-door. We booked last minute, so we were happy to get some thing and the price was reasonable.

Honestly, everything about the property itself and communication was wonderful, over the top amazing. But they are not kidding about having neighbors call the police on you. We were in town for our daughter’s wedding. The groom and groomsmen were getting ready at our place and one of their cars was barely in the road from the driveway and within five minutes the police were called! Not really a huge deal as they were dressed and ready to go 10 minutes later. We had a good chuckle about it later.

Very nice interior with room for gathering on comfortable furniture both on the main floor and in the loft. Were confused with 5 unmatched bowls in the kitchen, many chips and one with a crack in the side the full height of the bowl. Just 3 of them usable. Only one butter knife and a collection of mismatched forks, spoons etc. The rest of the house is absolutely beautiful and comfortable. Would love to book it again.

I would have loved to give 5 stars for such a beautiful place, however the two twin beds were hard as rocks and the bathroom was horrible. For 6 of us on a "moms trip" the shower curtain either sticks to your behind or sticks to the wall and allows all the water to run all over the floor. (no matter what we tried) In addition, the toilet is shoved in to its own tiny little place. (not really suitable for a heavier set person) Other than those couple of things, the area is beautiful, the home is spacious, and it was amazing to get away and relax.

We loved coming "home" to this beautiful loft after chilly trips to the beach. Having a huge bathroom and a washer/dryer was a live saver. There was room for us all to have our own space while still being able to connect with one another. Our only complaint was the shower. The shower curtain stuck to the adults and was impossible for the kids to keep closed causing the floor to get soaked. We all embraced the tub though, forcing us to slow down n relax which was greatly needed!

Very poor rental management- when we arrived there was a roofing crew on the roof and delayed our entry significantly. The bedroom carpet is badly soiled, and we had to attend to several issues with maintenance crew that were already known and not taken care if. Majority of windows in house could not be opened due to mechanism broken. They simply put 'do not use' on light switch panel or window sills. The pictures look great on line- don't be fooled.
Outside is a dump, zero yard maintenance. The patio decks are extremely old. No place to sit outside that is pleasant.

I’m normally not one to leave reviews, but I feel like this house needs a warning. I’ll start with positive - the location is great. You can walk to the beach and the coffee shop easily.
The dryer was a fire hazard with sparks shooting out the back. So laundry wasn’t available. The coffee maker didn’t work and made a huge mess all over the counter whenever we tried to use it. The carpet is stained and it smelled like cat pee when I laid on the upstairs floor (gross). The pictures look better than in real life.
Was our time ruined by the house? No, we still relaxed and had great family time, but I will never go back.

Charming, airy place with big central great room, nice big loft, lots of wood paneling. Dogs welcome. A block and a half to the beach. Close to shopping, ten minutes to downtown Cannon Beach. Delightful!

The house is in a great location and has the potential to be very charming, however, a lot of the inside just felt gross. The bathroom is very dated and could use some renovations. The showerhead was covered in hardwater/mold and the shower curtains for the clawfoot tub were moldy and stuck to you when showering. The kitchen was spacious and had most of what we needed but the appliances were very old and the fridge could use a good scrub. The carpet in the bedroom was covered in stains. Why you would have carpet in a beach rental that allows pets is beyond me. The bedding was low quality and the pillows were flat and cheap. The deck off the bedroom that lead to a little fenced in area was covered in leaves and dirt and the light didn't work. The fenced in area was also very overgrown. This would have been a nice place to let the dogs out but you couldn't see after dark and they would come back in covered in dirt. The wood burning stove in the living room was nice and easy to use. The loft was a nice place to hang out and the TV has been updated from the one in the pictures. There is also carpet in the loft which seemed pretty dingy. We didn't sleep in the beds upstairs but noticed the comforters were covered in stains. The place met our needs but I couldn't wait to get home and shower in my own shower as I felt kind of dirty the whole time staying there. I would not stay here again in it's current condition.

This home had a great location...but that's the only nice thing I can say. The home is old and the inside is falling apart. The bathroom sinks did not drain, there was mold on the shower curtain, the tile floor was cracked. The kitchen counter was chipped and literally peeling off. Many of the blinds were broken and did not fully shut. There was a window upstairs that would not close (and the rental company was aware prior to our stay because there was a post it note saying "broken window"). Two of the three beds we slept in had stains on the sheets. The furniture in the loft had holes in it with the filling coming out. The carpet in the bedroom was covered in stains. The dryer took hours to dry. The patio was covered in debris and mold. I reached out to the rental company three times asking for assistance. I even emailed pictures of all the issues upon their request. (We did not want them coming to the house because our stay was only two days and nothing could have been fixed in that time. ) With my calls I got the same response each time..."the local rental company has been made aware of the issues and will contact you". We never received a call back. I have never given a bad review on VRBO but this property is not as advertised. Renters should know what to really expect when choosing this home for their vacation.

This house was great: location, size, layout, all ideal. We loved the secluded, tree-surrounded feeling but it will get sap and tree detritus all over your parked cars (if that is a concern for you). As others have mentioned, the claw foot tub is not the ideal setup but we dealt with it. There was no pizza cutter and ice or ice tray. If you are sensitive to light while sleeping, bring an eye mask as this house has lots of natural light via the skylights.

We had a lovely stay at this clean and comfortable property. It is very close to restaurants, shops, etc., some within walking distance. The decor is a little dated but the proximity to everything makes up for it. The one drawback is that the TV is upstairs. It wasn’t a big deal for us but might be for travelers with mobility issues.

Great place - great stay
The house was perfect for teens, adults and a small dog. Loved the location - and the firm bed in the master was great. Not sure why others complained about it. Agree that the tub shower is silly and impractical. Older toilet could be replaced at the same time as the tub. Overall, everything was terrific. We’ll be back!
