Even though you are close to retail shops and malls, you'll escape from the busy world when you drive down our 1/2 mile wooded gravel road that only serves a few homes.

Or turn on the warm café-style lighting and enjoy a glass of wine on the beach as the sun sets. Enjoy the dock perfect for laying out, tanning, fishing, jumping in the lake, or just relaxing and hanging out on the comfy Pontoon Boat... listen to your music on the wireless Bluetooth stereo while looking out at the cove. Or wind down the day eating dinner on the huge porch overlooking the lake with a cold one in your hand!

This home has the huge open-concept family room with lots of seating, including a leather recliner for dad, and a new 75 inch 4K SmartTV (w/ DVR, Netflix, HBO, Cinemax, all Premium Package Channels) a dining room table that seats 6, wine fridge, and a FULLY stocked kitchen with dishes, glassware, pot and pans, all large and small appliances, a Kuerig 2.0, and a kitchen counter with barstool seating. The home features a huge living room, kitchen, and dining area with windows overlooking the large deck and the lake from all angles.
BEDROOMS:
There are 2 bedrooms (1 King & 1 Queen). Just under the windows in the Grand Room is the high-end, Italian Natuzzi leather Queen-sized Sleeper Sofa (very comfortable – we have all slept in it several times). Each room is equipped with remote-controlled ceiling fan w/ lights, and 55 inch 4K SmartTV’s w/ DVR, AT&T Uverse TV (all Premium Package Channels). We provide Bath Towels for 6 guests. We provide Bed Linens for all beds including the sleeper sofa for the entire house. However, guests must provide their own Beach Towels to use outside or on the boat. Guests are welcome to use washer/dryer if any sheets or towels need to be cleaned (detergent is provided).
AMENITIES:
Explore the lake on our 2 stand-up Paddle Boards and 4 sit-in Kayaks (just don't forget to wear a life jacket!) We provide tons of high-quality neoprene life jackets of all sizes. We want you to use them!! Be safe out there :) There is a huge comfy patio area right outside the family room complete with seating, outside dining, and a large stainless steel propane grill (be sure to check it when you arrive, if gas runs out - renters are responsible for replacing at any of the nearby grocery and gas stations).
AT&T U-verse TV (1000+ HD and 4K Channels including HBO, Cinemax, and all ESPN channels). The house is equipped with High-speed Fiber Wi-Fi internet that works all the way down to the beach. Or get some relaxing outdoor time and teach your kids how to fish with the 2 full fishing rods, and 2 children's rods with the provided tackle box! You can catch Catfish, Bass, Brim, Crappie, Carp, and Bluegill.
WHAT TO BRING:
Paper towels, Toilet paper, Trash bags (tall bags), any beach towels, and PLENTY of sunscreen!
We provide a set of linens and bath towels for every guest in the house. You are welcome to use the washer and dryer if you would like (but no need to wash your sheets and towels before you check out, you're on vacation!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the cottage! The views are probably the best on the lake with sunrise and sunset clearly visible from the well maintained property. We also loved how you could sit in several areas inside and out; finding shade if you wanted, and sunshine if you desired. There was so much to enjoy outside. We loved the lake access from the sandy beach for kayaks, paddle boards or just floating around in the beautiful lake. The listing doesn't mention a fire pit, but there is one on the sandy beach! Inside, it's just as nice with several seating areas and a well appointed kitchen. If we had to make a complaint, it was that our week went way too fast. We didn't want to leave! If you're considering a stay, DO IT! The house is also very close to Charlotte and there's so much to see and do in the surrounding area but honestly, you never need to leave the property. It has it all! 5 STARS!!!

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay (pups included) at this house. The property is as beautiful as the pictures, with a sweeping view of the lake that runs the whole length of the house. The cottage itself is adorable and beautifully designed, with huge windows, a comfortable living area, and a well equipped kitchen. The mattresses were really comfortable. David was readily available for any of our needs, and checked in with us when we arrived. We also took advantage of the boat rental, which I highly recommend. This place is truly a little gem.

Amazing place. Really relaxing. Brought our toddler with us and she was able to play in the water on the little beach they have on the property and she loved. The property management group was slow to respond, but I'm told they were on vacation. However, the we got in contact with the owner of the property, who was super nice and helpful. You can also rent a boat directly off of the property which is awesome. Highly recommend.

The view from the house was breathtaking. The house has huge endows that provide uninterrupted views of the lake.
The house is stocked with essentials.
One small issue that we had was the fan in the main bedroom didn’t work, but the owner responded by providing a portable fan to use.
There is a private beach area for kids to play and one to get the sun. There are plenty of kayaks for everyone to use and we had fun using those.
The location is very convenient, and a short drive from shops and restaurants.

We enjoyed our stay at this lake house. It's in a cove area so the boat traffic is minimal which made it a great place for kayaking. Their boat house was well equipped with everything for a fun lake stay (6 kayaks, life jackets, paddleboard, tubes). Nice beach area with firepit. The house was spacious with a lot of seating areas indoors and out which we loved and a well stocked kitchen. Would stay here again!

Hard to believe but it’s even better in person than the listing shows. The cove on the lake is nice and quiet- we did lots of paddle boarding and kayaking and it was super calm. We rented a boat and went tubing - the lake was not busy (we’d never been so weren’t sure what to expect). The house is super comfortable- perfectly clean, everything needed for cooking is here, furniture, beds, linens all comfortable and well maintained. Property manager was super responsive to all our questions. Highly recommend for a great getaway!!

Our vacations usually involve the coast and salt water. I believe we have all become “lake lovers” after our trip here. The house was outstanding and very comfortable. The mattresses were heavenly. Best rest ever. The dock, deck, and beach area were amazing. We left happy and waterlogged 😀

The property was just as pictured; perfect for our family of 4 plus our pup! The home is positioned on a quiet cove, but close to everything in town one might need. Adding a boat rented through Boat Rental USA made this the perfect vacation. We look forward to returning as soon as we can!

Beautiful setting beautiful home
We enjoyed our stay. The property was exceptionally clean, everything in order and plenty of water activities and shoreline activities for the kids. The setting is peaceful, great views of the lake from the home, private and the white sand beach with fit pit makes for some great evenings relaxing lakeside watching the sunset.

Great Family trip!
This property was the perfect getaway for the entire family including the pets. The owners were great to work with and the kitchen/house was well equipped with everything. The location was great and we spent most of our days on the boat and nights by the gas or wood burning pit.
Our area was experiencing water quality issues which you need to be aware of, but the rest of the lake was fine. Everything else was perfect!

Blinds were missing. Water was cold. You would think you wouldn’t have to take a cold shower with the pricing of this cottage. Plumber was sent in the middle of our stay. No paper cups or plates none trash bags were there but was stated in the welcoming.

House and property were as advertised, if not a bit nicer.
Kitchen was well equipped and having a grill and laundry facilities was useful.
Boat dock was fantastic with the covered seating area and ceiling fan.
We did not rent a boat but the covered dock with a lift for a boat was very nice too.
The water "toys" (kayaks, etc.) were in great shape, and having an outdoor shower was great too.
View out of the house to the water was lovely, and the cove was very serene.
Convenient to groceries and other stores (e.g. Target, Walmart), as well as to the Charlotte airport and Charlotte itself.

Absolutely Amazing!
When planning a trip it’s always a bit nerve wracking to choose a house. Will it be big enough? Will it look like the pictures? Will it have the amenities we need? Any question you may have about this property should be put to the side. We stayed here with our three teens and between the second bedroom and the living area sleeping we fit perfectly. The inside of the house is immaculate and new. But the real gem here is the outside. The private beach has the softest sand you can imagine. The pier allows for a lot of fun and various activities. The boathouse is full of kayaks, paddle boards, games and other fun things to do. And if you get the chance, rent a boat from the owner. That made the trip even better. Lastly I would like to mention the people. The Property Manager, Carol, was so responsive and kind. She answered every question we had and communicated beautifully. The owner, David, checked in and gave us great tips on the area. And the boat hands (in particular Nate) were the most polite and helpful guys imaginable. I have not one bad thing to say about this property and plan to find my way here again.

My husband and I decided we wanted to have a change of scenery from our working from home environment. The lake cottage was a perfect place for this. Beautiful space, with everything you’d need for a short or longer term stay. We stayed a week and used the kitchen with all the amenities for cooking each day and night and not once were we in need of anything. The cookware was quality and they had everything from a salad spinner to a crock pot. We also used all of the spaces and found comfort and style in each little area. Though it’s a smaller house, each area offers a little something different which was great even in the colder, rainy weather. I can only imagine the experience if it were warmer weather to enjoy the gorgeous outdoor space. We loved how close it was to the local shopping area for groceries and grabbing other items needed but left at home. Even though it’s only a 10 minute drive to these conveniences, you still feel you are away from everything in the surroundings of the cottage. Just a couple of things to mention that may help others when looking to reserve the place: -though it listed a traditional coffee maker I could only find a Keurig, but lucky there were a few cups left over until we could get to the store to buy more-the internet went out one night for a couple of hours and we were given a different network to use that got us up and running again. This caused us a lot of panic since we were both working from the cottage throughout the entire week. Carol was quick to solve the issue. Lake Cottage on the point at Lake Wylie
Our stay in the cottage on the lake was perfect. The views were amazing! We didn't get to use the outside amenities but we would like to return and enjoy the kayaks and the Tritune and the pier. Holiday Retreat
We visited in the winter to just relax and enjoy ourselves. It was perfect and the fire table on the dock was a nice item to enjoy at night. I loved all of the windows and looking at the wildlife on the lake. Highly recommend!

Family Holiday
My husband and I and our 2 adult daughters spent Thanksgiving here. The home is beautiful and very comfortable, and the lot is AMAZING! The view is unreal! We hiked, kayaked, paddle boarded and enjoyed the dock and the fire pit table well into the evening! One of our top family vacations because it was so relaxing!!!

Beautiful Sanctuary
My family (2 adults, 2 kids - age 9, 2 dogs) had a wonderful stay. The location is beautiful and very peaceful. This is our new favorite vacation spot and my kids have made me promise to come back during the summer. We will definitely visit again!

Perfect getaway
This property has one of the best views of Lake Wylie. The house was clean, spacious, and beautifully decorated. This was our third visit and the improvements to the exterior and dock were amazing. We sat on the dock at the fire table for almost every meal. Thank you so much to the owners! It just keeps getting better and better!

Great Place for smaller Family
We loved the view of Lake Wylie and the house being situated in a cove was perfect for the younger grandchildren to use the kayaks and other equipment. The House was beautifully decorated and well equipped. Everything was pretty perfect, thank you for sharing your home.

Amazing Lake Cottage
This beautiful little property on Lake Wylie looks unassuming from the outside, but has a beautiful interior, well manicured property, great boathouse and amazing tri-toon boat with some get-up-and-go! Had a great three days on the river! morning views from the deck, wrapped in a blanket drinking my coffee were priceless!
