Classic old-style Tahoe log cabin, close to Sunnyside Restaurant and Marina. Quaint and cozy for a relaxing Tahoe getaway! Only 800 square feet, this one-story home is located in a quiet setting and is perfect for a couple's getaway or a small family. Nicely decorated in country-modern decor, this home has natural pecky Cedarwood paneling, tub/shower combo, and cozy furnishings throughout. Fireplace has a gas insert, living room has L-shaped couch, DVD player, desk and stuffed chairs. Master bedroom with King bed and vanity dresser, second bedroom with two twin beds. A wonderful weekend getaway, but very basic.

Charming cozy cabin in quiet neighborhood. Great to bring bikes and enjoy the scenery and smells of Lake Tahoe. Fun to be close to Sunnyside and little market for cookies and sweets. Great location.

Wonderful cozy cabin, great neighborhood. Lovely kitchen with table, well stocked & loved the dishwasher! Super comfy sofas & TV, my granddaughter couldn't stop watching "Lassie"! Comfortable beds, very homey decor. Easy drive to downtown & close to many restaurants. We will definitely stay again!

Had a wonderful time, it was super peaceful and cozy.
I never encountered a Bear Fence before so that was a bit of a learning experience. Was close to the lake and little town area and a quick drive to Tahoe City. Beds were very comfortable and Kitchen had all the essentials.

I really liked the cozy cabin. It had a great feel and located close to everything. I wish it had been cleaner, there were several cob webs that needed to be cleaned before a daughter would sleep in the room. The shower curtain needed to be cleaned or replaced as well. I also wished there was more toilet paper. There were only 2 rolls for 4 people to use for a 5 day stay. So be prepared to buy to bring your own. I wish there were some spare bed sheets for the kids room as they needed to be washed again to get the smell out before my kids would sleep in the beds. I know these are small issues we had, and other than that, this place was great, welcoming, and I would recommend staying again. My kids loved the singing bass on he wall and how it really felt like a cabin in the woods.

After 10 days in lodging in Calif national parks, this cozy cabin in quiet neighborhood was a welcome change and a great home base for day hikes in the Tahoe area. As expected the kitchen equipment was dated and not as good as at home but overall we were delighted with our temporary home.

We liked that the place felt like visiting a family cabin, where simplicity and good quality come together. So many rentals have become like motels these days with fixtures that don't match the style of the area. Not this one. Don't change a thing. Thanks to the owners for the good times.

we've stayed at Plesums for about the last 10 years always coming back. It's the perfect location , has all amenities and is very clean and comfortable.You can walk to the beach, restaurants and the shuttle bus and else to many wonderful trails. What else is needed for a vacation??

This place was great. We went with my husband and five year old during Spring Break. It has it's quirks for sure - and I felt like I was in a time warp circa 1980s. From the formica counter in the exact pattern from my childhood, to the singing bass wall decoration that my dad was gifted when I was 10. There were even Calgon bath beads ("Calgon Take Me Away!"), an original "Risk" game, and a crock pot that looked like it came straight from my childhood.The location was great to get to Alpine or Palisades to ski. There's no covered parking and the flat, "U-shaped" driveway was very slushy (with all the snow - you needed AWD/4WD to pass through). We had 2WD and just parked closer to the street - no problem.As others mentioned - the heater was not very sensitive, the wi-fi was extremely finnicky, and the fireplace was hit and miss. That said - Hauserman is amazing! They are SO receptive and on it. I would totally stay here again in a heartbeat - even with the quirks. But it will be even more amazing with a few updates (which I know they'll do in the near future!). Comfortable, clean, with a great location and amazing property management company... couldn't ask for much more! Oh - but one tip: bring your own coffee mug if you drink coffee. The mugs in the property are nice, but pretty small! Haha!

Nothing but positive for the cabin and the rental company. Open communication, I was always informed every step of the way, but it didn't feel like I was being bothered. Flexibility - I needed an extra day and they made it happen instantly with no problems. Cabin was exactly as expected, cute, cozy and clean.

Cozy cabin close to Olympic valley .
We’ll equipped , although gas fireplace insert in large stone fireplace never worked . This should be fixed, as we were there during peak of winter weather
We did Lotsof shoveling over 3 days , to be able to get our cars in and out. We finally got prof assistance on the last night of our stay. But unfortunate I had to plead for the contractor to come by.
Otherwise the place was special.

Very nice property over all and I would recommend it to anybody looking for a Tahoe getaway. The internet was spotty and cobwebs covered the ceiling. The management company was a little unprofessional as they never responded to my requests after I spoke with them but that is not a reflection of the home overall.
If you are looking for a classic Tahoe experience I will highly recommend this location.

I was just looking for a cozy place to stay on the West Shore for Thanksgiving for me and my three mostly-grown kids. This place was perfectly sized - quaint and rustic but still had everything we needed. We were able to walk to Sunnyside and the Firesign Cafe, yet it was a very quiet and lovely neighborhood. Easy to get to Ward Creek and its trails right out the door. Loved this cabin and would definitely stay here again!

We rented this little cabin for our 25th anniversary. We liked that it had a king size bed. It's nothing fancy. Almost everything is original. Which we just adored. It was perfect for us and would definitely be willing to rent it again. It also has 2 twin beds in the second bedroom. And Hauserman was great to work with. Thank you for helping make our anniversary memorable.

Bear-proofed cabin with all comfort and facilities, perfectly looked after by both owner and completely reliable and anythime accessible Hausserman Rental agency. Away from any noise, but very close - walking distance - to both beach, main street, restaurants and market. Strategically ideal for going any place on Tahoe.

I loved the many windows (in spite of dark wood interior), comfortable furniture including beds, and very nice view from decks. Great location on a really nice street which is great for leisurely biking. Not so crazy about the baulky blinds that broke a couple of times. Kitchen had no spices, etc. and scarcely even any salt and pepper. The cabin could be hot in summer as only a few windows were openable. But great gas fireplace for cold weather., and all in all, it was a fair price for a good and comfortable cabin. This was my third stay there.
