One of a kind Lake House with a private dock on the shore of Yuba Lake. (Yuba Lake is a 22 mile long reservoir when it is full that fluctuates from being a Lake in front of our home to the Sevier River in front depending on lake conditions). This property is very secluded-only one other home in this part of the lake. Your large group will be comfortable and have plenty to do at our Lake House. We have a dock for your boat and swimming fun when the lake is high. You can enjoy our pool table, fire pit, arcade, amphitheater, and deck. Our home was built to showcase panoramic views of the lake. In addition we have, 2 large family rooms, wood floors, well-stocked kitchen and granite counter tops, dishwasher, 8 foot sliding doors opening onto deck & large parking area. Just 1.5 hours south of Salt Lake City and an hour south of Provo.

Everyone who has been to the house is stunned by the amazing views from our family area windows. When you are sitting on the sectional looking out the window it visually looks like you are on the water!
It is so rare in Utah to discover a property on a lake, with a dock!!! We have fallen in love with Yuba Lake! Most of the time we literally have the lake to ourselves!! We enjoy boating-especially surfing and tubing. How great to be able to enjoy the lake, pull up to your dock, go inside your Lake House for lunch and back onto the lake. A change in the weather? No problem. Enjoy the Lake House till the weather improves (again Yuba Lake is a reservoir and so lake levels fluctuate dramatically. There can be times when the dock/lake are not available at the house)
The amphitheater and fire pit make for memorable evenings.
We anticipated enjoying boating on the lake but were surprised by how we also have enjoyed WINTER! We were able to clear off a little snow on the lake and soon we had an ICE SKATING rink. The kids (and adults) loved to skate. We were also able to enjoy riding bikes on the lake. Ice fishing is next! The great thing is when anyone was cold or tired they can be inside in just a minute. With the amazing views from the windows, those inside could also enjoy watching all the fun.
We were also surprised by how many birds fly by! We enjoy watching them but apparently, our property is some of the best bird hunting areas in the region.

This house was a hidden gem! We had 7 different families staying with kids ages 6-17. The pool and hot tub were a hit and the lake days were amazing. So many beautiful memories were created here. The morning and sunset views were worth it all. The host was easy to contact if I ever needed any help or assistant's He was there. We would definitely stay there again.Thank you for a beautiful stay.

What a unique and magical place! My family begged to stay longer. It is as fabulous as it looks. The lake was pristine, full of fish and birds, pool & hottub perfect, and truly had lake to ourselves. Well worth the extra work it takes to be remote (we totally drank the water, but different taste, & trash goes to nearby campsite). The 270* view from the spacious great room is ridiculous. Thanks for sharing your paradise!!!

This was perfect combination for swimming, boating, playing, and chilling! Host was wonderful. They had everything ready for us. We had such a great time even though the temperatures were in the 100s. We chilled in the pool and lounged in the large air-conditioned family room. Bedrooms were awesome - ready for a large group. Kids caught fish from the dock. We had waverunners and the bay mostly to ourselves in July! This place has it all!

This was the perfect spot to gather our family of 15 who came from 4 different states. We ranged in age from 5 to 78 and there was always something for everyone - a nice pool, hot tub, pool table, Foosball, large kitchen with plenty of cooking supplies and plenty of bedrooms and triple bunk beds that the kids enjoyed!

Good stay and a nice location. Lake doesn’t always have water where the house is located we figured out so that was disappointing. House needs some updating/repairs half the deck furniture was damaged when we arrived looked like it just met it’s lifespan. There was also a broken toilet seat. All in all it was a great trip and a great stay we would go back again.

The lake had been drained when we arrived with ALL of our water toys!! A considerate email or text about the draining of the water, would have been nice, so we didn't haul all of our stuff out there. Also, the cleaners need to do more. Light fixtures, fridges, vents, walls, comforters and windows were all still dirty. Pool is great, hot tub had too many chemicals and it bleached several swimming suits. We made it work, but this property could use some TLC.

The kids were in the pool and hot tub all day. We enjoyed the dark sky for stargazing. Nice fire pit area. The lake level was low at 30%, but it was enough to enjoy jet skiing and wake surfing. The large gathering areas were nice. The basement entertainment with arcade, foosball, and pool table were fun. We launched at yuba state park and were able to anchor off the dock. Keep an eye on water levels, it could make a big difference if you plan on water sports and the water is any lower. As it was, we literally were the only ones on the water. July 2023

A very nice place for a very large family. The lake was very nice and easy access for most of us. We enjoyed the Solitude of the place. We brought a boat so the dock was very nice and used a lot. We would go back again.

The lake house was so fun for our family group of 19. The pool and outdoor area were definitely the biggest hit! The beds were comfortable and there were more places to sleep than we needed. Unfortunately the wind was too strong for us to take advantage of being so close to the lake but there was plenty of other things to keep us entertained and busy.
The host was easy to communicate with and tried to accommodate our needs. There were only a couple drawbacks. 1- The upstairs gets so hot. We just suffered through it but I’m sure the host would have tried to help. 2- there was an insane amount of bugs. They somehow were getting into the house even though every window we opened had a screen. 3- it could have been cleaned much better. The host was responsive to this and offered to send cleaners out the day after we checked in but we opted to just clean it up ourselves. Overall it was a great place to stay and make some memories.

Finding the property and check in were a breeze. We planned this trip when poor weather was expected, but with the heated pool and hot tub, all of the kids were still able to get out and have a great time. This home is beautifully designed and even with 15 of us, we never felt cramped. This was a perfect choice for our family.

We loved this property. The owners/manager was fantastic and responded to questions within minutes.
We brought 4-wheelers, shotguns and clay pigeons, and swimsuits. We were able to do everything we wanted outside and then watch the world cup inside the house.
The upstairs and downstairs were spacious enough so that it felt like there was space enough to do different activities without encroaching on each other.

This was a wonderful isolated location for us to meet together for our family reunion. The pool/hot tub addition was a great bonus that we used since the grass areas shown in the photo were gone and the lake was reduced down to the river feeding Yuba Lake.
We liked the porch areas for eating and visiting. The downstairs family room saw a lot of use with the pool table, the foosball table, and the TV/movie area. The couches were comfortable and they had extra bedding available. The location was fabulous and we enjoyed 2 days at the lake since it was only about 20 minutes away. The only drawback was the 2 showers, so we hope that they are going to add an outdoor shower (or two) to the pool area. That would be fabulous! But either way it was a great place to stay and we would definitely stay there again in the future.

The house was perfect! We had 22 adults who all had a bed & slept comfortably. We had lots of kids too who slept out on the couches in the big living rooms. Kitchen and dining room were big enough to hold us all as well!. The lake out front was 100% dried up - I do wish the pictures showed this - as we were expecting a “lake front” property to dock our boat in front of. The lake has been dry for quite some time and the pictures do not reflect that, but their description somewhat does warn you that it can get low. The lake was a 25 minute drive away which was Inconvenient but fine. Luckily they had the brand new pool & hot tub installed which turned out to be amazing and the kids had water next to the house to play in all day which is what saved the day! This house was so great for our family reunion, clean and the host was great to communicate with and had great instructions on everthing in the house! Would stay here again!

Absolutely stunning
We couldn’t have picked a better place for our little gathering. Owner was in touch very early on and easy to communicate with. Even went out of their way to supply the place with more of what we needed before we got there.
Only difficulty was that Google couldn’t find the place on the map, but that’s kinda what we wanted anyway. 😂

Great place for large family fun time.
We had a great time in this clean home. Plenty of space for visiting and gathering and eating. There volleyball sand pit was added after out reservation was made and was a fabulous addition. Take note that the turn off to the house is on mile marker 14.

Awesome Reunion!!!
We had a wonderful family reunion. The owners were amazing. Our only frustration was something which was completely out of the owners hands. There were cows all over the place that found their way to the property leaving huge piles of poop. It was hard to find a spot to set up the slip-n-slide and other games. Other than that, we would love to go back again someday.

This house is excellent and housed our 47 guests very well. We were sad that the reservoir was low, but that isn’t in the owners control. The owners kept in contact with us throughout our stay to answer questions.

Family Fun August 1-4, 2018
We loved the house, it was clean and well stocked with all the necessities. We had so much fun, loved the big front room and deck. We could of used another bathroom, but we made do with no problems. Washed the children outside which was fun and nice. Went to Yuba Lake one day, water was low but we had lots of fun. Not much water at the house, but kids played in what there was and the mud. Thanks to the Ward's, great place for family get together!!!

Could not say enough good things!
Such a beautiful home with so much space! Our group had 31 and we had PLENTY of room for everything! Sleeping, eating, games etc.. tons of room.
The kitchen is stocked with plenty of dishes and tons of kid friendly dishes too!
The water was super low, but drive over to the main Yuba marina and have a killer fun beach day!
We also brought four wheelers and motorcycles and had a blast exploring the trails.
This place just has it all for a super fun family vacation.
Can’t wait to come back!!

The Lake House was an awesome place for our LDS girls camp.

Surprise Party
It was so spacious! The view was amazing! The bedding was so comfortable. Debra was so helpful and available. She even threw in some added touches for our birthday surprise! Perfect! We all want to go back in the summer when there’s water in the lake.

Great place to gather Family
I wanted a house that I could gather my 5 kids and their children for fun before everyone headed off to school. I first picked the house because it was on Yuba reservoir and showed a dock that you could boat from and play in the water right at the house. Sadly the farmers that own the reservoir decided to almost drain the lake. So there was no lake by the house and though we did drive to Yuba State Park that was 25 min away the water was only at 9 % and we could not safely launch our boat. The Ward's had let us know about the water, so we knew we could not boat. We did play at this beach and were going to paddle board, but had major problems with the rental people at the State park, but that is for another review.
Though we could not boat we had a wonderful time at the house with our kids, grandchildren and great grandparents staying very comfortably in the house. We sat on the large deck at night and admired the stars. With no city lights the skies were beautiful. We enjoyed making smores in the fire pit and the house even had a slip and slides we used on the grass hills. The house was very clean and the kitchen well stocked. The kids played games and had a fun billiard tournament with their great grandpa. The large family gathering areas made for some good family bonding time. The bedrooms were clean with nice linens, with plenty of beds for all in our family.
We did have a problem with the hot water and the Ward's were very prompt in answering my call and we were able to get it solved.
Even without the lake nearby my children said they would love to come back to this house again.

Fun Family Home
The sleeping arrangements were nice. The bedding was very lovely. The towels are soft and very thick. There are very good supply"s for cleaning.Very good bath supply"s. The kitchen is well stocked. There is seating for large group's. There are wide open spaces in the home. The large wrap around windows create a splendid view.
The check out system is a smooth process. We were very happy with all the home had to offer.
We made many wonderful memories at The House on The Lake. We recommend this carefully planned vacation home! You will love it!!!

Great views and plenty of room
We held our annual family reunion at the Lake House. The house has a beautiful view of the lake. It is just a short walk to the lake and dock. We enjoyed the setting and the house. The firepit was a nice bonus.

Great central gathering location
This was a great property for gathering with family. The house had everything you could need for a nice getaway. We enjoyed kayaking from the dock, though the beach is rocky and we didn't do much swimming (it was still a bit chilly). We enjoyed the sunsets and having a grassy area to play some games. All in all it was a great place and we would do it again.

We just stayed at the Lake house and loved it (third time staying there).... Had a 3 day family reunion there with 45 people... There was plenty of room for all of us to spread out and relax.... Really big family room with great big windows to look at he great views... The lake was really low ( the other 2 times there was plenty of water) but a short 15 minute drive was all it took to launch our boat. The river does run in front of the house when the lake is low... I think everyone had so much fun just playing in the mud and river also... Really nice grass areas for playing lawn games... Fire pit to roast marshmallows was one of my kids favorites. Yuba lake was a lot warmer then the other lakes we have stayed at in utah. Great time.

We rented out this cabin during May, and everyone in our group had a blast! The house is located right on the water, and lots of family members had fun swimming, taking out the paddle-boat, kayaking, and paddle boarding. We brought our boat and the water was perfect for skiing, wakeboarding, etc. There are tons of activities for everyone to do outdoors, and we loved the close and easy access from the cabin down to the water. Another feature of the cabin we all loved were the big, beautiful windows overlooking the water - perfect for spectating all the fun being had by everyone or for appreciating the morning sunrises.
The cabin itself is gorgeous. I was very impressed with how clean everything was, and with the appliances and electronics available. There are two big screen TV's (one on each level), which was nice for the kids to watch a show in the basement while the adults enjoyed some quiet time upstairs. We also loved the big open space so that everyone could gather together to watch TV or play board games. There was plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms to fit everyone comfortably. One of the rooms has a set of bunkbeds plus a twin bed, and the kids loved having a big slumber party in there.
We will definitely be back!
