Not what we paid for
the property is beautiful. The land and the view is stunning.
However ... the rental was not what was promised.
We were told linens were provided, for 10 people. Only 1 blanket in the whole property. So we gave that to my friend who had a baby with them. We didn't bring any, so we had to go to Walmart to buy one.
On the second day, we tried to get into the hot tub, the water level was super low and it wouldn't get above 62 degrees. We rented the cabin JUST for the hot tub. It wasn't fixed before we left the property. I felt cheated.
There was NO room to put a weeks worth of food for our family. We had to put everything on the counters and dining room table, which made it very cluttered, looked dirty and difficult to find items.
The home was not well kept. The sofa downstairs was broken, there was a spill stain on the wall in one of the bedrooms, looks like soda or coffee. One of the bedrooms had a huge cob web it looked like a shelf. Some of the pool sticks were broken. The ceiling fan looks like it has never been cleaned. The remote controls for the TV were corroded where the batteries go. It had snowed and the salt container for the walkway had little amount of salt so we bought our own.
Overall, we were not happy with our stay. We had plans to go out and then come back and enjoy the hot tub, that was our real disappointment. The cleaning crew for the property did not do a good job to prepare for our Christmas stay.

We had a fabulous time at this home. It is beautiful, plenty of room (there were 7 of us) and very well equipped. The view from the deck is gorgeous. It is on a quiet street, but within a 10-15 minute drive of most things you want to do. We had 5 teenage boys, and they especially loved the finished basement area with the pool table and sliding door to the hot tub!

Overall the property is very nice and comfortable. Appliances are outdated. Bathrooms could use an update too. Ceiling fans are very very dirty. Well stocked kitchen with dishes and cooking utensils and cookware. Lightbulbs needing replaced. Outdoor furniture needs updated.

Wonderful property!
This was my family's first fall cabin rental and we really did not know what to expect. We we were thoroughly impressed with the home and the property. The home was big, spacious, and had all the amenities we needed for some relaxing time with the family. We couldn't have asked for a better location. Our one and only disappointment was that the grill was not working properly and needs to be fixed or replaced. Other than that , my family really enjoyed our visit and we think you will too.

Overall, a wonderful house and fantastic weekend! A couple of minor things that could have been better but definitely did not ruin our weekend. The TVs in the house did not have HD which was quite odd since everything these days is broadcasted in HD. Such a weird thing not to have in a nice house. Also, the hot tub needed to be serviced as the water smelled quite old and was very low. Again, not a deal breaker but little things that could have been improved.

The house was in very good shape. The furniture was a little worn though. 2 of the couches were a little broken, it looked like it was from people sitting on the backs and such, but they were still very comfortable. The fire pit is fantastic, and everything was great. I would love to stay again. Only issue I had, was it states they provide firewood, but they in fact do not provide any firewood. Gas fireplaces inside, and no firewood for outdoors. We were forced to go buy some, even though it states they do provide firewood.

We had a great time relaxing by the fire and in the hot tub. The home was beautifully furnished and the view from the deck was great! The location was perfect, close to everything yet secluded. The bed was comfortable and kitchen well stocked. The downstairs fireplace didn't work for us and the television was a little tricky to operate. We would definitely recommend this home and hope to rent again with a group. It was a lot of house for two people but we had a great time! Thanks!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the cabin. It was very nice, and quiet, just what we needed. It was well equipped and the beds were very comfortable. We had a few small issues, such as the hot tub wasn't hot, one drain was slow, the tv in the small downstairs bedroom wouldn't work, nothing major. The important thing is that no sooner did I call about the problems and they had service people to fix everything in minutes. They even came in and installed a brand new big screen tv in the one bedroom. It was a beautiful area, and deer seemed to be every where around our cabin. Thanks for a great vacation.
