The room was clean
I did not sleep because my door wouldn’t lock I was alone and I was afraid to go to sleep. I told the front desk clerk she said I forgot the door was messed up you should have said something soon now I’m sold out she laughed and so did the guy she was talking to.

The staff in the check in counter closed the window on me and my daughter upon walking through the door. I called the lobby phone for after hours service and heard the phone ringing behind the counter but they did not pick up. I sat in my car with my 16-year-old for hours until I found another hotel that would take us, booked it and left. I fought for more than a month to get my money back and booking.com charged me for the full 4 day stay even when I reported that the hotel was non responsive and refused me check in. Looking back, the area also felt unsafe.
Area, customer service.

The property looks like the picture until you walk through the door
There was never anyone at the front desk, although they appear once they see someone interested or needing something and they were very nice. However, the Shield is always closed for the most part.
